Abstract

This study aims to describe the students’ body shame in class X students at SMAN 5 Cimahi. Body shame is a person's shame in one part of his body and this often occurs during puberty in early adolescence, because in early adolescence many changes in body shape began. This study uses a survey method. The population in this study were students of SMAN 5 Cimahi with a total of 341 people, 150 male students and 191 female students. The sampling technique in this study is nonprobability sampling, so that the sample in this study were all students of class X SMAN 5 Cimahi. The results showed that the level of body shame of all class X students of SMAN 5 Cimahi showed that the highest percentage aspect was criticizing the appearance of others without the knowledge of the person. Then, the next category is the aspect of criticizing the appearance of others in front of the person. The aspect of criticizing one's own appearance through assessment or comparison with other people has a low category compared to other aspects. The description of the profile of body shame based on sex, namely the aspect of criticizing the appearance of others without the knowledge of the person has a high percentage of male students 64% and in the same aspect the low percentage is 36%; 58% female students and in the same aspect the low percentage is 42%.

Abstract

The task of development is a task that must be completed properly by each individual. The task of development is always in the individual life phase. The task of development that should be priorized is the task of the development of the final child because in it contains the discovery of his identity so that it will affect adolescence and adelt life later. Based on the search for various sources, it is known that the developmental tasks are so many depending on the psychological figures that make it and are influenced by environmental factors. The results of this study can be used ad a reference for parents, teachers, and further research.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of instrinsic motivation and metacognitive awareness on students academic achievement. The study first tries to investigate whether there are any correlation between intrinsic motivation and students academic achievement and also the correlation between metacognitive awareness and academic achievement. The study then goes to search whether intrinsic motivation and metacognitive awareness when they are combined together have impact on student’s academic achievement. The sample of this study consist of 387 Senior High School students. The data collection is conducted with the use of Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (IMI), Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) and the students’ grades. As a result, it was found that intrinsic motivation has significant impact on the student’s academic achievement, meanwhile metacognitive awareness has no impact on students’ academic achievement. But, intrinsic motivation and metacognitive awareness when they are combined together gave 4% contribution to academic achievement.

Abstract

The majority of drawing and drawing activities are liked by children because of the shape or color they like, but with increasing age and environmental influence not a few who are not interested in drawing or seeing pictures, because they are considered not useful or not too important compared to subjects in school. After a deeper study, it turns out that drawing and drawing save many benefits for the development of children. Among them can help motor development, the development of various intelligences and, no less important, can make children happy, especially if they can get support from the surrounding environment, it all contributes greatly to the success of children. in the future.

Abstract

Communication skills are one of the basic 21st century skills that require students to fulfill those skills, when students have communication skills they can actively follow learning activities in class. However, not all students can be skilled in communicating, because communication skills cannot be obtained automatically. Less skilled students communicate with the difficulties of actively participating in the learning activities and the Tribulation in the opinion, thereby inhibiting students ' self-development in learning. The purpose of this research is to examine the use of technical discussion techniques in group guidance on the communication skills of junior high school students. This research uses a quantitative approach with the research method of one group pre-Test post-Test design. The data collection methods used are the scale of communicating skills, observable, and interviews. The study used group guidance services with group discussion techniques given to 8 students of grade VIII in SMPN 3 Sidoarjo with low interval categories. The Group guidance service was conducted six times the meeting with a time allocation of 35 minutes. The data analysis techniques used in the study were non-parametric statistics using the Wilcoxon test with a significance limit of 0.05. Results of analysis obtained by 0.012 ? 0.05, then concluded there is a significant influence in the use of Group guidance Services with group discussion techniques to communication skills in grade VIII students at SMPN 3 Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This research aimed to find the representation of emotional intelegence level of the student in the Dwiwarna High School (Boarding School) Parung Bogor. The instruments usend in this research is the emotional intelegence scale. The research subjects are 70 high school students grade XI Dwiwarna High School (Boarding School) Parung Bogor 2019/2020. The research showed that 1,4% students have low emotional intelegence, 82,9% students have average emotional intelegence, and 15,7% students have high emotional intelegence. This research can be used by guidance and counseling teacher to improve student’s emotional intelegence at school using guidance program or counseling service.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the picture of resilience in class XI SMK Mitrabatik, based on gender, family integrity and planning a program to increase student resilience. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method to reveal a picture of student resilience, the population in this study is class XI SMK Mitrabatik, amounting to 350 students, the technique in this study uses saturated sampling by making the population members a sample. The results of this study in general the resilience of class XI students at SMK Mitrabatik are in the category of resilience quite 49% (172 people), the highest aspect is the optimism aspect and the lowest aspect is the emotional regulation aspect. Based on gender and family integrity did not have a significant difference. The shortcomings of this study sample is still limited so it does not yet represent all students in SMK Mitrabatik.

Abstract

Self-determination is the ability of individuals to direct themselves to achieve life goals that are driven by the fulfillment of autonomous needs, competencies and relationships with others. The purpose of this study was to determine the picture of self-determination in adolescents of class XI SMK As-Saabiq Singaparna, differences based on gender, based on majors and design guidance and counseling services to improve self-determination of adolescent students. This study uses quantitative descriptive methods to uncover the picture of self-determination of adolescent students. The sample in this study was class XI As-Saabiq Singaparna Vocational School, amounting to 191 students, the sample in this study was taken using a saturated sampling technique that is by making the population as a sample sample. The results of this study in general the self-determination of class XI students of SMK As-Saabiq are in the category of high self-determination of 54% (103 students). The highest aspect is competence while the lowest aspect is the autonomy aspect. Based on differences in majors there are differences and based on gender shows Sig. 0.002 which means there is a significant difference between self-determination in male and female students of class XI Vocational School in As-Saabiq. The weaknesses of this study are the sample is still limited so that it only knows the self-determination of class XI students of SMK As-saabiq

Abstract

Various aspects that support the optimal process of adolescent development need to be considered, one of which is adolescent happiness and well-being. One of the variables that supports this is Gratitude. A descriptive study was conducted on 328 students of grade XI at SMAN 1 Manonjaya with a sample of 167 people to see a general picture of gratitude. The measuring instrument used is the development of the Gratitude Resentment and Appreciation Test (GRAT) designed by Watkins et al in 2003. The results showed that 149 students were in the high category or 89%, 15 students or 9% were in the medium category and 3 people students or 2% are in the low category. This shows the tendency of students to have the characteristics of grateful people that have felt abundant, respect for simple things and respect for others. Writing a Gratitude Journal has recommended previous studies with the assumption that if individuals write down the good they get every day, then the individual will focus on the good or positive rather than thinking about the negative.

Abstract

. This research is motivated by a phenomenon that develops among students related to discipline in the learning process. The results showed that the discipline of learning had an effect both directly and indirectly on the success of the learning process, affecting the improvement of learning achievement, learning outcomes, and motivation to learn so that there was an interest to be developed. Guidance and counseling have an important role both in anticipating and healing for students who have low learning discipline. One way to improve learning discipline is by applying self management training. The general objective of this study was to obtain an empirical picture of the effectiveness of self management training in improving student learning discipline in Class XI of SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya in the 2018/2019 Academic Year, totaling 218 students. The study was conducted with a non equivalent control group design research design. The instrument used was a learning discipline questionnaire. The data analysis technique used the t-test formula and the SPSS 16.00 for windows program to measure the two-pair difference test. The results showed that in general the discipline of student learning in Class XI of SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya was in the moderate category. Self management training is effective in improving student learning discipline.
