Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based student discipline violation monitoring information system at SMK Islam Kawalu, as well as evaluate its feasibility. The research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The design is carried out using Unified Modeling Language (UML), and the system is developed using PHP programming language. The results show that the system is deemed "feasible" based on evaluations from experts, administrative staff, guidance counselors, and class teachers. Student evaluations also indicate a "very good" rating. This system facilitates the recording, management, and reporting of violation data in an integrated manner, providing an effective solution to support student discipline enforcement. Further development is recommended, including the addition of data backup features, deletion of data for specific periods, and an enhanced user interface to make it more attractive and functional.

Abstract

Kualitas air kolam ikan koi merupakan salah satu faktor penting untuk menjaga kelangsungan hidup dan kualitas mutu ikan koi. Keterlambatan mengetahui beberapa aspek kualitas air yang ideal akan berdampak negatif bahkan dapat menyebabkan kematian serentak bagi ikan koi. Salah satu tindakan pencegahan guna menghindari hal-hal yang tidak di inginkan adalah dengan cara membangun sistem monitoring kualitas air pada kolam ikan koi. Sistem yang dirancang pada penelitian ini dapat melakukan monitoring dengan memanfaatkan platform IoT Thinger.io yang dapat menampilkan data secara realtime dengan parameter suhu air, tingkat keasaman (pH) dan kandungan mineral yang terlarut atau TDS (Total Dissolved Solid). Sistem ini dibangun dengan unit pengatur berupa Microcontroller Arduino Uno R3 Built In WiFi yang terhubung dengan 4 sensor. Kualitas alat purwarupa diuji dengan beberapa parameter dari standar yang dikeluarkan oleh BBPBAT (Balai Besar Perikanan Budidaya Air Tawar) Buleleng Bali serta instrument pembanding EZ990. Hasil pengujian dianalisa dengan metode statistik dan diperoleh hasil uji validasi dan reabilitas untuk parameter suhu air menghasilkan nilai validasi sebesar 92,83% dan reabilitas sebesar 96,42%. Untuk parameter tingkat keasaman (pH) keasaman nilai validasi sebesar 95,04% dan reabilitas sebesar 85,97% dan parameter TDS dengan nilai validasi sebesar 90,22% dan reabilitas sebesar 93,15%.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMK PGRI Cikoneng Ciamis, with a research focus on class X students with a population of 96 students. The samples of this study were class X OTKP and X AKL which were selected by Non-Probability Sampling. The validation of the interest questionnaire resulted in a score of 23, as well as an average of 4.6, which indicates the reliability of the questionnaire as a measuring tool. The average interest score from the questionnaire was 3.38, classified as “Good Enough”, indicating room for improvement in student engagement. Normality tests confirmed that the learning interest data was normally distributed. A one-sample t-test showed a significant difference in the mean learning interest (74.38) compared to the set value of 65 (t = 3.457, p = 0.001). In terms of learning outcomes, 18 students (17.82%) scored ≥ 90.0 (“Excellent”), and the overall mean score was 85.14 (“Good”). The results of the independent sample t-test showed a significant difference between the experimental class using the Wordwall educational game method (mean = 91.19) and the control class (mean = 78.48), with a value of t = 9.880 and p = 0.000. This study found that the materials and learning methods applied had a positive effect on student interest and learning outcomes, and encouraged the need for further improvement of interesting learning strategies.

Abstract

Recording and managing attendance at SMP Negeri 1 Sukaresik still uses a manual method by recording in the book or attendance list of students, the problems faced in recording attendance at this time are prone to problems such as manipulation of attendance data, difficulty in recapitulating attendance, and other obstacles are the lack of maximum school parties in conveying student attendance information. To overcome these problems, this research aims to develop a presence information system using face recognition technology integrated with Whatsapp Gateway. The research method used in this research is the Research and Development (R&D) research method using the Waterfall model research procedure with stages 1). Analysis, 2). Design, 3). Coding, 4). Testing, and 5). Maintenance. Designing is done using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), coding is done using javascript programming language with reactjs and expressjs frameworks while the faceapi.js library is used for face recognition and the whatsappwebjs library is used as a requirement for whatsapp gateway. testing is done using blackbox testing to test the functionality of the system. The results of validation by software engineering experts obtained a score of 4.64 including the feasible category as for the assessment results from users obtained a score of 4.3.
