Abstract

The motorcycle frame is important to supported components of the motorcycle and to maintain stability when driving. One of the variables to determine the strength of the frame is to measure the stress when it is loaded. This study was to determine the stress experienced by the frame of the motorcycle when it is given a load of 1960 N and 2450 N in two different types of material, Galvanized Steel and Black Steel (AISI 1080). Research conducted with simulations using software Solidwork 2013. The simulation results indicate that the material Galvanized steel frame permanently deformed when given load 2450 N because the stress (221.6 MPa) is exceed the material's yield strength (203.9 MPa). While the frame of the material Black Steel (AISI 1080) when given a load of 2450 N stress received is 233.9 MPa, still lower than the value of the material's yield strength (375.8 MPa) but displacement that occurs is 21.1 mm.

Abstract

PT. Samudra Oceaneering (PTSO) is a company engaged in Testing Services does not damage or commonly known as NDT (Non Destructive Testing). PT. Samudra Oceaneering standing on November 10, 2005, and started the business in the field of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) and Inspection Services. PTSO is a branch company Oceaneering International. Logo PTSO still use the logo Oceaneering International, which is common so do not describe the division of PTSO itself, therefore the old logo need to be replaced in order to describe the identity of the company. By using the method of designing a logo and related procedural generated in the form of office supplies (letterhead, envelopes, folders, business cards, pens, stamps), uniform equipment, operating supplies, media promotion and working equipment. From the examination of the respondents showed that tinggat kapuasan against the new logo increased by 12.4%, these results indicate that this new logo can replace the old logo.

Abstract

Opinion mining is the process of understanding, extracting and processing textual data automatically to get the sentiment of information contained in an opinion sentence. One of text mining methods that can be used to solve the problem of opinion mining is the Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC). Source data to be processed in the process of data classification is the opinion or comment on the news online. Before the opinion or comment data is processed into the classification process, the first step that must be passed is text processing. Text processing includes tokenizing, filtering, and stemming. The next stage, producing probabilistic models whose value will be used in classification process. The core process of the classification is determining the highest probability of each category. If the results indicate the probability Bayes comments for positive cate gory is larger then the comment, then the comments is categorized as a positive opinion and vice versa.

Abstract

Opinion mining aims to determine an opinion category, positive opinion, negative opinion, or neutral. Opinion mining implementation on public opinions, produces a percentage summary of positive opinions, negative opinions, or neutral from reader. In online political news context, this summary has advantage for readers to understand political situation which changed very fast and has advantage for online news manager to know respond from society towards presented news. Actually reader‟s opinion also can be used to influenced public opinion, motivate appearance mislead spam opinion. Spam opinion must be detected in opinion mining, further spam op inion will be ignored. This research purpose is opinion spam detection. This research used two methods, comments duplication checking and aberrant behavior detection. Duplication checking is done by comparing each existing comments on all articles by using the cosine similarity. This research can find some spam opinions by those methods.

Abstract

Sistem Temu Balik Informasi adalah ilmu mencari informasi dalam suatu dokumen. Proses pencocokan dilakukan secara parsial dan hanya mencari hasil temu balik yang terbaik. Query diberikan dalam bahasa alami dan dalam bentuk yang tidak lengkap. Sistem Temu Balik Informasi terdiri dari tiga komponen utama, yaitu masukan, pemroses dan keluaran. Penghitungan similaritas akan menghasilkan bobot pada tiap dokumen yang menentukan seberapa relevan dokumen tersebut terhadap query. Metode pembobotan yang digunakan dalam implementasi dapat berupa kombinasi dari TF (Term Frequency), IDF (Inverse Document Frequency), dan normalisasi sesuai input dari user. Pada pengujian terdapat tiga besaran performansi yang dihitung, yaitu Recall, Precision, dan NIAP.

Abstract

The number of Traffic accidents in Indonesia is still in high number, it because the lack of awareness of the people to be careful while driving. The negative effects of traffic accidents are causing national econo mic loss by 2,9% from Gross Domestic Product. One of the traffic accidents factor are loss of concentration while driving. The cause of loss of concentration is there is an attention diversion that using hand phone while driving. Therefore it is necessary to dissemination to the public to be more cautious while driving through advertisements. The selection of public service ad is quite effective because it has the definition of non-commercial ads which the purpose is to influence audiences to behave in accordance with the advertising message. Based on the test results of the 50 respondents,total of 29 respondents had positive response on public service ad that have been made.

Abstract

PT Sentral Mega Konsultan standing end of 2012 and is relatively new in the field of IT consulting. This company has a lot of cooperation to deal with various government and private agencies in the province of Kepulauan Riau. PT Sentral Mega Konsultan has had a corporate identity like other companies. However, the identity of the company could never used for daily operations of the company, especially for the purposes of promotion that have not been done. The identity of a company logo that has not been implemented into the medium which is used by a company for promotional activities and even in the application of the logo looks less attractive tends to monotony. So far clients are coming, get to know the company is only through word of mouth information. There was never any promotional efforts undertaken by the company, however with the advent of more and more companies in the same field, the company felt the need to do something to maintain the existence of companies one of which is the promotion to introduce the PT Sentral Mega Konsultan to the general public. Of the problems that come necessary to redesign the visual identity of the company which will be implemented in a variety of media promotion.

Abstract

The problem that often leads to death of a baby is a lack of information about pregnancy and lack of awareness of the health of pregnant women to perform control or pregnancy visit to the doctor or midwife. The system is designed to make it easier for pregnant women to obtain information and exercise control over the visit of pregnancy. This application can display the schedule of visits the patient and can display pregnancy patient health information. The application also has a queue register online menu, display the number of patients queuing and queue displays running.

Abstract

The Documenterary film is one of multimedia products where is can used as media in order to telling information. Usually, documentary film take shoots in real location, without actor and focus on the subjects, such as history, science, social or environment. The basic objective are to enlighten, to provide information, eduation, persuasion and provide knowledge about surrounding environment. The documentary film combines two ascpects of human real life, science aspect and art. Science aspect and art contained in documentary film is a explanation about facts arranged in a part in order to have artisti c values and make audience can understand what actually happened. Batam island is a archipelago that has several small island arounded. One of the is Galang Island which is a witness to history of human tragedy of Vietnamses refugees. In this area built a settlement called Vietnamese Camo as an agreement between the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Indonesian government.
