Abstract

Indonesia is a country with high rainfall. The rainy season can last for four months of the year. Development in urban areas in increasing resulting, resulting in reduced water absorption areas. People's habit of throwing garbage in waterways is also one of the factors that cause flooding. The current obstacle is the difficulty of monitoring water levels when heavy rains cause water to overflow onto roads and residents' houses. Checking the water level is still done manually, only looking at the measuring limit or ruler found on the river and not giving warning messages when the water level rises and it rains.  Devices are needed to monitor water levels during heavy rains and send alerts to officers when it rains and the water level has exceeded the limit. Researchers found the idea to make a water level monitor and rain detector using the Wemos D1 R2 Mini microcontroller, supported by the HC-SR04 sensor and Internet of Things (IoT) based rain sensor. The Blynk application receives data from Wemos to be forwarded as a notification to officers. This system provides real-time information about river water levels and conditions when it rains to help avoid or reduce losses due to flooding. The accuracy value generated by the ultrasonic sensor reaches 99.89%, while from the rain sensor, it reaches 100%.

Abstract

Car rental is a transportation service that offers rental services for vehicles. This business can also help the community or immigrants who need four-wheeled vehicle rental services for various purposes and needs. Car rental currently still uses the bookkeeping method and manually analyzes the data for recording the rental transaction data. Website-based information systems also have an important role in supporting progress in the application of the car rental business so that they can carry out car rental business activities optimally with progress. Website-Based Car Rental Information System is designed using Sublime tools, Notepad++ and uses a MySQL database. The system design method used is First Come First Served, which is a system that is used to make reservations by paying in advance. The method applies a system of advance payment in advance to get this car unit for rent. From this research, the First Come First Served method is very beneficial for the admin because if there is no rental status payment, it will be taken by other users with the desired car unit.

Abstract

The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education has been conducting university rankings since 2015. The goal is to map or build Indonesian universities. This ranking is known as university clustering, and it is separated into two categories: non-vocational/academic institutions and vocational universities. The goal of this research is to create higher education clusters based on the four key indicators that have been identified. The Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE) II decision model in Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) was employed, together with Geometrical Analysis for Interactive Aid (GAIA) as geometric analysis in the form of decision-making visualization. This investigation yields alternative 2 with a phi of 0.5125 as a compelling value, followed by alternatives 3 and 1. According to the data, the second university out of the five evaluated had the best performance based on the four weights of the Indonesian higher education clustering indicator.

Abstract

Identification is the identification or determination of an object based on evidence as a clue. The objective of the research was to identify biometric images using edge detection of LoG (Laplacian of Gaussian), Canny, and LoG+Canny with different shapes and dimensions. It is expected that the object can still be identified with different shapes and dimensions. The sample of data used was 20 fingerprint images. This fingerprint image was tested using the methods LoG, Canny and LoG+Canny. The process begins with the image reading, and then the image is converted to grayscale, edge detection and image segmentation. The final result is the identification of the image. The results show that the average accuracy is 89.9 per cent for the LoG method, while 81.8 per cent for the Canny method and 90.7 per cent for the LoG + Canny method. From 10 fingerprint image tests, 8 fingerprint images can be identified by both methods. While the LoG + Canny method is capable of identifying 9 fingerprint images. The LoG method can detect images of 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10; while the Canny method can detect images of 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10; and the LoG + Canny method can detect images of 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. The minimum and maximum pixel values for the LoG method are 11 pixels for the test image and 25327 pixels for the database image. While the minimum and maximum pixel values for the Canny method are 148 pixels for the test image and 42323 pixels for the database image. In the meantime, the minimum and maximum pixel values for the LoG + Canny method are 806 pixels for the test image and 57972 pixels for the database image. The LoG + Canny method can outperform other methods for the identification of fingerprint images from the results of the tests carried out. In addition to the higher accuracy value, the resulting error value is also much smaller. The object images in the LoG method that have not been identified are numbers 1 and 3 with an error of 27.27 percent and 58.33. While the Canny method that has not been identified is number 1 and 5 with an error of 98.31 per cent and 59.92 per cent. The LoG + Canny method that cannot be identified is number 5 with an error of 61.69 per cent. The mean error values for the three methods were 10.1%, 18.2% and 9.3% (LoG, Canny, LoG + Canny).

Abstract

In everyday life water is one of the components that is very important and becomes a basic need for human life and other living things. Of course, when flowing water to all corners there are obstacles such as leaks in water pipes that can be caused by air pressure. These leaks can cause the flowing water to get dirty or even not flow all the way to the destination. Therefore, this study will be created a pressure monitoring system on water pipes that will use pressure transmitter sensors that serve to read the pressure on water pipes using LoRaWAN data communication, this communication is used because the device can communicate up to a distance of 5 to 15 kilometers. To connect or send data from the sensor to LoRa requires an Arduino uno that will process the data from the sensor to be used. To store data using the Antares platform. This research is useful for monitoring pressure on water pipes and minimizing leaks in pipes. By using the method of calculating linear regression equations obtained a very accurate value for water pressure readings on pressure sensors that are 98.9%, while the results of testing the values received signal strength indicator (RSSI), signal noise radio (SNR) and packet loss are interconnected, in the value of RSSI and SNR the smaller the packet loss the more data is lost. The use of Spreading Factor values can also be taken into account if you want a longer range with a small packet loss result.

Abstract

Information about COVID-19 or regulations regarding it has been massively shared by the Ministry of Health, via kemenkes_ri account. Including the topic of vaccinations. Although health research has been conducted to support the covid-19 vaccine campaign, however there are still people who give negative comments. Sentiment is also found in the kemenkes_ri account. Sentiment analysis is an opinion classification process to determine the responses given are included in the positive, negative or neutral categories. In this study, it is proposed to compare the performance of the SVM and KNN algorithms to classify sentiment in the kemenkes_ri account related to vaccine policy in Indonesia. Sentiment is classified into 3 polarities namely neutral, positive, and negative. The purpose of this comparison is to compare the best classification model on the topic of vaccine issue sentiment analysis, especially the Instagram platform. In this study, the stages started from the comment scrapping technique which resulted in 2,925 records. Preprocessing using NLP technique and weighting using TF-IDF technique. Next, the SMOTE technique was performed to avoid imbalancing class. The ratio of training and testing data is 9:1. The results showed that the best classification is SVM = 98.30%, while the KNN method is 80.03%.

Abstract

Infobengkel website is a website that provides information about available workshops in a certain area. With this, users can find information about the workshop they want easily and quickly. in this study to analyze the usability of the infobengkel website assisted by the Heuristic Evaluation method and End User Computing Satisfaction. both methods are used to analyze the usability of the website and measure the level of user satisfaction of the website. from the results of the study it was stated that the website of workshop information was satisfied by the users. where the End User Computing Satisfaction method gets a value of 7.326 or 73.26% while for the Heuristic Evaluation method it gets a value of 7.204 or 72.04%. After doing the analysis, we get several recommendations for improvement that need to be considered in the website, such as the Format variable in the End User Computing Satisfaction method and the Aesthetic and Minimalist Design variable and Help and Documentation in the Heuristic Evaluation method.

Abstract

The ability to communicate on the internet who do not know the distance and time are the key requirements for improving the work on the internet. To improve performance access to the internet is required solutions as the best of the internet network that can be relied on, so that companies use more than one ISP (Internet Service Provider) to maintain the quality of the internet access with the goal to avoid the interruption of internet access and have backup internet access network if you experience down resulting in disruption of the company's performance in carrying out their duties. One of the contributions of information technology to overcome the merging problems two or more-line internet is a technique of load balancing. This study aims to determine the comparison of QoS load balancing on a 4 line by the method of PCC, ECMP and NTH on real tool MikroTik rb2011UiAS-2HnD. The test method uses speedtest.net from the results it will be seen ping, speed download, speed date, as well as monitoring from the side of the router MikroTik. Stages of research using the method of NDLC (Network Development Life Cycle), namely analysis, design, simulation, prototype, implementation, monitoring and management. With the usefulness of this research is to know the performance resulting from each method of load balancing that is PCC, ECMP and NTH with 4-line internet on MikroTik

Abstract

Management of PT.Promexx Pusat Stationery is very difficult to make decisions to assess subjective things, for ease of decision making (SPK) to determine a more precise and accurate decision. Promotion is a position according to the evaluation output during work. In the assessment of employees who get good grades, they will be promoted as a form of appreciation for employees while working in accordance with the vision and mission. In this criterion there are several assessments such as K1 (Attendance), K2 (Cooperation), K3 (Performance), K4 (Problem Solving), K5 (Ability). The purpose of this study is to help PT.Promexx Pusat Stationery make decisions about promotion of employees in the company, in this system the researcher uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process method, which is choosing a sustainable value to obtain the ratio value and to make sure the researcher has also combined the Multi Factor Evaluation Process algorithm. on choosing the final result value that will be determined in problem solving. And the result of ranking employees is the total that is obtained from the sum of all the criteria from table 14 for all candidates and will produce a total value. From this research, the highest total score is 92.01 with the first rank.

Abstract

The Integrated Tourism Industry System in Batam City is a system designed to make it easier for tourists to find tourism information in the city of Batam. Batam City is one of the cities with leading tourist destinations that are in great demand by domestic and foreign tourists. However, the lack of promotion and tourism information in Batam City is an obstacle for tourists to get this information. This integrated tourism information system is equipped with a cost estimation feature that makes it easier for tourists to check the estimated cost to be issued and what destinations are available in each tourist destination. Coupled with the event calendar menu, tourists can see what activities will be held in the city of Batam, and on the main page of the tourism website tourists can see a description of the city of Batam as well as a gallery containing pictures of Batam city tourism. This Integrated Tourism Industry System in Batam City is based on a website using the CodeIgniter framework, php as the basis for the programming language, and for data storage using mysql, and xampp is used as the server. This system is expected in the future to become the main media for tourism promotion in the city of Batam, so that tourism in the city of Batam is able to compete with tours in other cities, this will have an impact on both the industrial and business sectors because they have utilized and followed the development of information technology.
