Abstract

In designing and making an automatic roof tool that serves to help humans in terms of drying clothes, when exposed to rain then automatically the roof will be closed by itself because this tool uses raindrop sensor, and in cloudy / dark weather conditions the roof will be automatically closed, while at the time bright roof is open by itself, because it uses LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) sensors that can read the intensity of light. In order for the roof to open and close automatically this tool uses a rotating servo 180 degrees. This tool also uses a temperature sensor to determine the condition of the room during rain, cloudy, and bright. How this tool works when the weather conditions outside the bright LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) will read the intensity of light received and has been entered, then the servo will open the roof 180 degrees, and at that time the clothes are being sun-dried can be exposed to the sun, then otherwise if the outside conditions are overcast / dark servo will close the roof 0 degrees. And if the rain is outside raindrop sensor conditions will read the raindrop rain drops and then servo will close the roof 0 degrees so that clothes are dried sdang not be exposed to rain, so we no longer need to back and forth warmed and drying back clothes.

Abstract

In designing a system in facilitating the work in operating the door bar and the lights of the railroad tracks that sometimes require quite a lot of employees because this kind of problem often occurs because of negligence in operating a lot of accidents that occur in the railroad crossing. For this reason, the researchers designed a miniature intelligent railroad system that is expected to help streamline the operation of the doorstop and turn on the lights off the hallway automatically. The way this tool works is by utilizing the arduino microcontroller, the Infra Red sensor and the Ultrasonic sensor as the data input provider and the prototype's working method. The Infra Red 1 sensor will provide input when the train passes and the crossing bar will close, the Infra Red 2 sensor will open the crossbar the crossing door when the train has passed the crossing of the crossing door and gives a welcome message on the LCD, when the train enters the hallway the Ultrasonic sensor will turn on, control the led to adjust the net of the train that goes through the work process over and over.

Abstract

To facilitate the parking of the car to be efficient parking equipment was needed by using the distance with objects. In this research, the development of prototype of car parking guide by displaying information by using centimeter or meter unit and using sound output to facilitate the user in parking their vehicle. From the analysis and testing of prototype car park guides with human voice output indicates that this prototype can give good results. Ultrasonic sensor SRF05 can work well but in the sensor distance of more than 3 meters cannot send data

Abstract

Penelitian potensi pasir besi dalam menghasilkan nanopartikel magnetit di Lampanah Aceh Besar melalui studi kajian teknik pengolahan, metode sintesis dan karakteristik struktur telah telah selesai dikaji. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif berupa studi literatur dari data sekunder dinas ESDM Banda Aceh dan beberapa jurnal ilmiah dan karya tulis. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa pasir besi di daerah Lampanah memiliki unsur dominan yang dikandungannya adalah Fe3O4. Metode magnetik separasi dipakai untuk memisahkan pasir besi dari pengotor, sedangkan sintesis co-precipitation salah satu metode yang dipilih dalam menghasilkan nanopartikel magnetit disebabkan proses eksperimen sederhana, ekonomis dan rendahnya suhu perlakuan Melalui uji XRD, nanopartikel magnetit pasir besi berbentuk kubik dengan sudut 2 adalah 35,55o, 57,13o dan 62,70o dengan hkl yaitu [311], [511] dan [440], sedangan dari uji TEM dan SEM didapatkan bahwa bentuk partikel dominan bulat dan distribusinya rapat. Oleh karena itu pengontrolan ukuran dan bentuk nanopartikel magnetit pasir besi akan memberikan potensi yang besar pada bidang kemagnetan superparamagnetik.

Abstract

Pengukuran kemudahan penggunaan user interface acap kali menjadi pilihan kedua jika dibanding dengan pengembangan project perangkat lunaknya. Pandangan ini terlihat wajar saja, karena pengembangan project merupakan isu sentral yang selalu didengungkan ketika organisasi ingin mengembangkan sistem baru atau menukar sistem yang lama dengan sistem yang baru. Ada beberapa pertimbangan dalam mengembangkan atau menukar sistem, yakni wajib mempertimbangkan kebutuhan user yang menggunakan aplikasi tersebut. Salah satu faktor pertimbangan kebutuhan yang perlu diambil adalah, sistem harus memenuhi kebutuhan akan kemudahan penggunaan user interface aplikasi yang dikembangkan, seperti yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini yakni melihat perspektif kemudahan penggunaan user interface dari sisi pemakaian oleh mahasiswa. User interface yang diukur dalam penelitian ini adalah user interface SIAKAD online mahasiswa UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh, dengan data ukur yang ingin dilihat adalah hubungan penggunaan UI dengan kemudahan pemakaian UI SIAKAD online oleh mahasiswa UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Untuk mengukur tingkat hubungan tersebut digunakan pendekatan analisis regresi dan korelasi, analisis regresi digunakan untuk melihat pengaruh antar peubah bebas (x) penggunaan UI terhadap peubah terikat (y) kemudahan pemakaian UI, sedangkan analisis korelasi digunakan untuk melihat hubungan antar kedua peubah yang telah disebutkan sebelumnya. Dari hasil analisis regresi linier sederhana, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antar peubah bebas (x) penggunaan UI, terhadap peubah terikat (y) kemudahan pemakaian UI, dengan nilai R bernilai 0,732, R Square bernilai 0,535, keseluruhan nilai R yang dihasilkan lebih besar dari nilai koefesien yakni sebesar 0,05. Sedangkan dari hasil analisis korelasi, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antar peubah bebas (x) penggunaan UI, terhadap peubah terikat (y) kemudahan pemakaian UI, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05.

Abstract

Elektroforesis merupakan suatu metode pemisahan yang memanfaatkan medan listrik yang dihasilkan dari elektroda-elektroda untuk memisahkan senyawa-senyawa yang memiliki muatan berupa kation ataupun anion. Elektroforesis membutuhkan media pemisah berupa fase diam seperti sel Agarosa yang tercampur larutan buffer untuk menjaga kondisi keasaman sampel saat proses pemisahan. Alat ini sangat mendukung keterbaruan penelitian khususnya dibidang teknologi rekayasa genetika. Hasilnya akan memberikan rekam jejak berupa pita-pita pemisahan senyawa. Kecepatan gerak molekul tergantung pada nisbah (rasio) muatan terhadap massanya, serta tergantung pula pada bentuk molekulnya

Abstract

Electrical energy crisis related to the increasing population in an area will increase the electrical energy customers. Besides diminishing reserves of fossil energy that is required of alternative energy from renewable energy sources. The problem is in incorporating a potential source of renewable energy with a generator needs power generation hybrid, the hybrid system with a generator as backup energy utilization is less than optimal because when there was a deficit power generator takes over all of the power wasted in renewable energy generation. The purpose of study is to produce a hybrid system design between the generation of solar energy, wind energy and generator as support (support) when the power deficit in energy of renewable generator. Research Method in the design of hybrid system is a design block diagram consisting of solar panels, wind turbines, inverters, and generator. At this stage it has produced research outputs in the form of models of hybrid renewable energy generation systems and generators, then make a circuit simulation and measurement. The results of this research is a hybrid system that works adaptive- connected the generator to the system when the power deficit or increase the load to provide power support on renewable energy generation. This hybrid system with a capacity of 3.5 kW less power than the previous system with the composition generator 5.7 kW 2.2 kW of renewable energy consists of a 1 kW solar panels, wind turbines 1.3 kW and 1.3 kW generator voltage at 310V DC bus coupling, the voltage on the bus coupling AC 220V / 50 Hz, total load current at 16A. The percentage utilization of renewable energy rose from 11.73% to 24,94% and generator utilization fell from 24.50% to 16.74%.

Abstract

Several researches have been conducted about "Analysis of Heavy Metal Content Mercury (Hg) On Whitening Face Cream Circulating On Percut Sei Tuan Sampali area with Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS)". The research study was run at the Health Central Laboratory of North Sumatra. This study aimed to determine the levels of mercury (Hg) in the whitening face creams that ciirculating in the Percut Sei Tuan Sampali district. It also need to determine the levels of mercury (Hg) from Percut Sei Tuan Sampali area that accordance with the Regulation No. HK.03.1.23.07.11.6662 POM. However, this was an experiment study with a random of 5 samples among the whitening face cream at Percut Sei Tuan Sampali area. Thus, this area presented that the heavy metal mercury (Hg) from 5 samples were obtained the results that samples 1A was 1.5429 mg / L, samples 2A is 1.5334 mg / L, samples 3A is 1.4851 mg / L, samples 4A is 1.4916 mg / L, the sample 5A is 1, 5180 mg / L. However, the results showed that the mercury (Hg) value was above the levels was determined by BPOM RI, (the permission terms of heavy metal contamination Mercury (Hg) 1 mg / L No. HK.03.1.23.07.11.6662 in 2011). Thus, it was necessary to supervise the facial whitening cream in the Percut Sei Tuan Sampali society.

Abstract

Electrical safety concern has been rise from early utilization of electricity. This report is about electrical accident that took place in one agricultural farm in Michigan, USA in summer 2010. A bilingual Latino farm worker (28) was electrocuted in a 6000-acre potato farm when he touched one of tower of self-propelled central pivot irrigators, which is irrigating the farm at that time. The delta corner-grounded system is used at the farm. The multicultural environment is also escalated the risk.
