One strategy to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students in an independent curriculum is through the creative dimension. Strengthening the creative dimension of the Pancasila Student Profile is related to the 21st Century Skills Framework formulated by the World Economic Forum. The framework outlines 16 important skills that children must have to be successful in the future, one of which is creativity. Unfortunately, Indonesia's creativity index is still ranked low compared to other countries. The Global Creativity Index (GCI) conducted by the Martin Prosperity Institute ranked Indonesia 115th out of 139 countries in 2015. As important learning for students, science learning must be responsive to this by facilitating the development of student creativity. Gamification is an effort to arouse interest, stimulate motivation, and encourage student involvement in learning. Much research has been conducted on gamification by adopting game mechanics and aesthetics for learning and generally succeeding in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes. However, the relationship between the use of gamification in learning and the development of student creativity has not been widely researched or discussed theoretically. Therefore, this paper tries to present a literature study regarding areas where gamification can be intervened so that it can develop and build student creativity.

This study was designed to identify and describe students’ metacognitive thinking process in solving compound polarity based on academic ability level. Two hundred and eighty-four high school students in Indonesia participated in the study. Students are classified into high, middle and low academic ability groups based on field notes, student academic data, compound polarity problem-solving test (CPPST) scores and teacher suggestions. Six selected students from each group were designated as research subjects and then interviewed in depth to explore their metacognitive thinking processes. CPPST answer sheets and interview transcripts were analyzed using summative content analysis and tested for validity by data triangulation. The results showed that the students with high and medium academic ability level carry out metacognitive thinking processes in the dimensions of planning, monitoring and reflection in solving compound polarity problems, where the metacognitive thinking processes of students with high academic ability are more varied than students with middle academic ability. Students with low academic ability only carry out the dimensions of planning and monitoring. Therefore, teachers need to train students' metacognitive skills in solving problems and get used to applying metacognitively in each given problem solving so that students are trained to solve problems systematically, carefully and thoroughly, and manage time properly in order to obtain the expected learning achievement.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on learning outcomes in Webbed integrated learning at elementary schools. Webbed integrated learning is an approach that integrates multiple subjects into a single learning theme, while PBL is a learning method that emphasizes real-world problem-solving within the learning context. The research employed an experimental design with a Post-test Only Control Group Design. The sample consisted of third-grade students in Gugus VI, Kuranji District, Padang City, with two groups: an experimental group comprising 20 students and a control group comprising 20 students. The experimental group implemented the PBL model in Webbed integrated learning, while the control group used conventional learning in Webbed integrated learning. Learning outcome data were obtained through written tests that covered cognitive and affective aspects of integrated learning. Data analysis was conducted using an independent t-test to compare the learning outcomes between the experimental and control groups. The results showed a significant difference in the average learning outcomes of Webbed-integrated learning using the PBL model compared to the average learning outcomes of Webbed-integrated learning using conventional learning based on the results of the independent sample t-test, which yielded a sig value of 0.00 < 0.05 and a t-value > t-table with a t-value of 5.463 and a t-table value of 2.024. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the PBL model has an impact on learning outcomes in Webbed integrated learning.
