Abstract

Karanganyar District Hospital uses a system of shift work is divided into three, namely the morning shift, afternoon shift and night shift. This study analyzed the levels of general fatigue experienced by nurses on the morning shift, afternoon shift and night shift using methods Bourdon Wiersma and questionnaire Subjective Rating Self Test and measurement physical workload using physiological methods of work. Based on the results obtained that the afternoon shift is a shift that has a level of fatigue the most high based on 3 parameters measured is speed, accuracy and constancy with methods Bourdon Wiersma Test and the morning shift and afternoon shift as a shift that has the workload of most high based on the results of measurements of the pulse to determine the amount of energy consumption, oxygen consumption and% CVL to the nurse and then questionnaire.

Abstract

Effective and efficient organization is an organization that can benefit form the wealth of knowledge they have and also learn from those experienced before. Identification of existing knowledge in organization is urgently needed before the knowledge is managed with knowledge management. This study used qualitative análisis methods from the approach Nonaka’s model and Alavi’s cycle. Alavi cycle is used to identify existing knowledge cycle while the Nonaka’s model is used to identify th process of the knowledge formation. After the research is done, then it can be grouped into three business processes conducted in the Division, the forms of knowledge that already exists and the four domains of knowledge. Four of these knowledge domains identified more related to process creation, storage, transfer and application. The process of the creation of the four domains of knowledge are identified more related to the process of socialization, externalization, combination, internalization

Abstract

Procurement  activities of raw materials is one of the vital activity for the company. PT Solo Grafika Utama is one of the companies that rely heavily on this procurement activity for a smooth production. Until now PT Solo Grafika Utama has been working with several suppliers in the procurement of raw materials production. However, in practice, these activities often experience problems such late delivery by suppliers for various things. As a result of delays in the procurement materials  makes the production process is hampered or delayed, so the time that required for production process exceeded the production schedule planning that has been set before. This resulted in the delivery of products to consumers experienced delays and it makes them are not satisfied with the performance of the company. Therefore we need an analysis to determine the factors that cause  the delay. Once the cause is known, we need a follow-up analysis in order for the supplier selection decision making process of  PT Solo Grafika Utama using ANP method. Supplier selection decision-making process of the raw materials in PT. Solo Grafika Utama involves many criteria and sub-criteria assessment which is then compared and processed to obtain the supplier with the highest value and become preferred suppliers for the company.

Abstract

Many manufacturing plants still use corrective policies in their plant maintenance practice. Often it is too late for the managers to react upon their plants performance reports such as losses due to plant unavailability, performance inefficiency and dropping rate of quality. Neglect of the preventive maintenance planning is a great disadvantage in any manufacturing system. If such a system is ever going to reach perfect one-at-a-time manufacturing, there is no time for failed or wasted parts or standstill. Therefore, the availability of real time data of plant equipment and process history to enhance the discovery of opportunities for manufacturing optimization is imperative. This paper describes the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system concept in the Preventive Maintenance (PM) practice, and in other part presents the case of AB Furniture where ineffective maintenance practices are being carried in one of the components of Manufacturing and Planning Control. The AB company objective is to maximize all possible values in their products. Therefore, the company must compete on the basis of Cost Leadership thereby focusing on elimination of waste, economies of scale, cost reduction and more returns from an initial invested asset in their mainstay of their operations. However, their maintenance operations, such as ineffective spare parts management and ineffective maintenance work orders, contradict their capabilities to compete on the basis of Cost Leadership thus pose a strategic threat. Consequently, to counter this threat, this paper recommends adoption of maintenance practices purported by their pre-installed ERP system and the adoption of PM philosophy supported by that system. Using ERP system to measure maintenance practices performance indicator coupled with Maintenance Work Order Analysis, AB Company will be in better position to identify on how to optimize their maintenance activities in the future.

The aim of this study is to develop a framework for decision making process that incorporatesselecting the best alternative which is relevant to decision maker. Multi criteria decision anlysis based fuzzy set theory is used in this study to help decision maker to compare and rank decision alternative. This result anbles decision makers to collate the decision alternative and also permits decision-makers the weight of the dimension while modifying decision making process that applied fuzzy set theory to analyse the collected data.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the distribution of heavy equipment and spare parts, and related services. Based on a preliminary prospectus in 2012, it is known that there are inefficiencies in the company's inventory. It increases the cost of inventory that can be allocated for the promotion. Further research is performed using the Du Pont analysis. This paper aims to determine the proposed improvements to the PT. XYZ. Du Pont analysis includes an analysis of the rate of equity, net profit margin and total assets turnover. Based on the analysis and discussion, it is known the value of ROE, NPM, and TAT of the company needs to be improved. NPM value of the company describes the effective use of corporate assets. While TAT measure the turnover rate of the company assets that include asset utilization efficiency and speed in the form of cash refunds.

Abstract

Perbaikan sarana pembelajaran ditujukan untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mampu meningkatkan kenyamanan, keselamatan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Prinsip-prinsip ergonomi diterapkan pada perancangan fasilitas belajar untuk menyesuaikan fasilitas dan lingkungan belajar dengan penggunanya, yaitu mahasiswa. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan suatu studi untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap kenyamanan dan pengaturan fasilitas belajar di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin UNS yang dirasakan oleh mahasiswa. Fokus penelitian adalah sarana pembelajaran di ruang kuliah, ruang praktek kerja bangku, ruang praktek pemesinan dan laboratorium CAD & Komputasi. Berdasarkan pertimbangan faktor-faktor tersebut, penulis memberikan beberapa rekomendasi untuk perbaikan sarana pembelajaran dengan meninjau berdasarkan prinsipprinsip ergonomi.

Abstract

Pengecoran die casting dengan sistem injeksi dengan produk handel rem sepeda motor yang telah dilakukan pada tugas akhir terdahulu mengalami beberapa permasalahan antara lain cacat pada produk yang dihasilkan diantaranya adalah cacat retak, cacat porosity, cacat misrun dan cacat flash. Untuk memaksimalkan hasil analisa yang akan dilakukan maka dipakai program simulasi c mold yaitu program khusus untuk menganalisa proses pada pengecoran die casting. Cacat retak disebabkan karena kondisi pada titik tersebut adalah kondisi yang paling lemah dengan banyaknya weld line pada program simulasi tersebut. Cacat porosity disebabkan terjebaknya udara dalam logam cair, solusinya adalah dengan menambahkan lubang vent sehingga udara dapat keluar. Cacat misrun disebabkan kurangnya volume yang diinjeksikan. Penyebabnya adalah karena cawan tuang yang tidak standar. Solusinya dibuatkan cawan tuang khusus, volume logam cair adalah 66 cm3. Cacat flash terjadi karena membukanya tangkupan male die dan female die yang disebabkan kurangnya gaya pengunci dies. Gaya yang dibutuhkan untuk mengunci dies adalah sebesar 26,9 Newton. Solusi dari beberapa cacat yang terjadi adalah dengan memindahkan titik injeksi dengan menggunakan program simulasi c mold dengan mencari posisi yang paling minimal terjadinya cacat.pada produk pengecoran. Program simulasi sangat dibutuhkan untuk memprediksi suatu kesalahan-kesalahan yang akan terjadi sebelum masuk pada tingkat uji coba atau praktek. Kesalahan human error pada saat proses pengecoran menjadi kendala utama sehingga kesalahan masih terjadi. Maka mesin injeksi die casting sistem otomasi yang lebih canggih. Pada proses pengecoran jenis cold chamber ini sangat pesat perkembangannya sehingga kita harus banyak membaca dan membuka wawasan kita terhadap perkembagan terbaru. Adapun buku-buku yang lama masih harus dibaca sebagai dasar dan pegangan utama.

In this study to evaluate children working posture using computer. Assessment of children working posture performed on SDN 15 dan SD Widya WAcana 2 Surakarta using Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA). RULA evaluation of children who have no score boxes at both schools.

Abstract

Lingkungan fisik kerja merupakan bagian dari lingkungan secara keseluruhan, sebab lingkungan fisik kerja adalah salah satu bagian dari 14 (empat belas) asas ilmu lingkungan. Dalam asas kesepuluh menyebutkan bahwa “Pada lingkungan yang stabil, perbandingan antara biomassa dengan produktivitas (B/P) dalam perjalanan waktu akan naik mencapai sebuah asimtot”. Pada asas tersebut dapat diartikan bahwa sistem biologi itu menjalani evolusi yang mengarah pada peningkatan efisiensi penggunaan energi dalam lingkungan fisik yang memungkinkan keanekaragaman berkembang, untuk itu lingkungan fisik jika tidak terkontrol (melebihi Nilai Ambang Batas) akan menjadi penyebab pencemaran lingkungan. Jika hal ini terjadi dalam lingkungan pabrik, perkantoran, dan lain-lain akan memberikan dampak negatif terhadap kemampuan kerja dari para karyawan atau pekerja. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah meneliti pengaruh faktor lingkungan fisik kerja terhadap waktu penyelesaian pekerjaan (studi laboratorium). Faktor yang diteliti adalah faktor tingkat kebisingan yang diteliti meliputi 3 (tiga) perlakuan, yaitu 50 dB, 85 dB, dan 95 dB, faktor intensitas pencahayaan meliputi 3 (tiga) perlakuan, yaitu 30 lux, 200 lux, dan 350 lux, dan faktor temperatur terdiri dari 3 (tiga) perlakuan, yaitu 200 C, 270 C, dan 350 C. Berdasarkan hasil Anava pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%, faktor utama, yaitu tingkat kebisingan, intensitas pencahayaan, dan temperatur memberikan pengaruh yang signifikans terhadap waktu penyelesaian pekerjaan. Interaksi 2 (dua) faktor, memberikan pengaruh yang signifikans terhadap waktu penyelesaian pekerjaan. Demikian pula pada interaksi 3 (tiga) faktor, memberikan pengaruh yang signifikans terhadap waktu penyelesaian pekerjaan.
