Most of people seeing garbage as unused items that cannot work and then system of garbage management by government did not function properly. Today begins to develop a sustainable garbage management with community role to managing garbage. One of the part of sustainable garbage management is garbage bank method. In sustainable garbage management method particularly with garbage bank must be adjusted and considered by environmental conditions local settlements in order to successful, the aspect related to housing components such as physical environment, economy, community, law, culture and the availability of utilities have an important relation in the development  of sustainable garbage management. This research wants to know what is relationship between housing components and success of garbage bank method on sustainable garbage management, and the next step is identfy housing components and success of garbage bank in two area, RW IX Kelurahan Kadipiro and RW II Kelurahan Gajahan with scoring analyse and finally do the crosstab analyse to determine the relationship between both of them. The conclusion is a housing components with individual aspect such as nature, society, shell and network have important relation with the success of garbage bank  method. This research is to identfy the housing components and success of garbage bank method in two case studies, so we can determine the relationship between both of them in RW IX Kelurahan Kadipiro and RW II Kelurahan Gajahan, Surakarta. Keywords: sustainable garbage management, garbage bank, housing components

Abstract

Solo Baru region has a very strategic location and were originally intended for residential areas, but then experienced a rapid development of economic activities. The development of economic activity is the most visible trade activities and services that continue to increase precisely since 2002. The development of trade and services activities is of course have an influence on land use changes that occur rapidly in Solo Baru region. Based on these issues, the formulation of the problem in this research is how the influence brought about by the development of the activity of trade in services to changes in land use. In line with these problems, this study aims to determine the effect of the development of trading activities and services to changes in land use Solo Baru Region. The method used is quantitative descriptive to determine the level of development to later described spatially. These results indicate that the development of trade and services activities has encouraged the development of other activities either similar activities (commercial) as well as supporting activities (housing, public services, and industry) so the impact on the provision of land. The need for this land that drives the changes in land use, both in terms of area, intensity, and land use patterns are formed. Developments are vertically making it more influential in the development of land compared to the intensity of the land area. Besides land development patterns that are formed are random pattern of development as the region woke formed does not have a specific shape (sporadic) and develop segmental. Keywords: Activities Development, Trade and Services Activity, Land Use Change

Abstract

Abstract: Gili Iyang Island has high oxygen level potential which is more than 20% with lower pollution percentage compared to other regions in Indonesia. The result of oxygen in Gilli Iyang Island was done by LAPAN in 2006 and BBTKL-PP in 2013. It reached 20,9% up to 21,5%. The oxygen level affects Gili Iyang Island becoming tourist destination to take oxygen therapy. However, the activity isn’t supported by adequate facilities, so that an oxygen therapy center is necessary to meet those needs. The design proposal rises a problem is designing a healthy oxygen therapy facility that hold the local natural circumstance. Environmental issues in Gili Iyang Island which is still pure and healthy responded by Green Building concept application in Oxygen Therapy Center. The Oxygen Therapy Center focusing on the application of green building concept to respond the environmental issue of Gili Iyang Island. The Green Building concept based on six criterias in accordance with the Greenship: Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI): appropriate land use, energy efficiency and conservation, water conservation, resource and material cycle, health and comfort in space, and environmental management building. The concept is trying to afford a healthy and nature-synergy building design so than it can support oxygen  therapy process and energy-saving building. The main design concepts are site cultivation, mass system, shape and appearance of the building, material selection, exterior of the building, also building utilities. Keywords: Gili Iyang Island, Oxygen Therapy, Green Building Concept, Greenship: Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI)

Abstract

Maluku as one of the archipelago provinces in Indonesia would require a sea transportation system to improve movement of goods and services inter-islands both within and outside of the Province. Ambon City as the capital of Maluku Province has an important role in accommodating it . Ambon City itself currently has six ports with different functions. One of the main ports is the Port of Yos Sudarso Ambon which currently accommodates two functions. First, as a port of passenger and second as a container port. However, along with the increasing container demand and inadequate port area. Then, there are various proposals which proclaimed in various regional and national development programs to focus on the transition function of Yos Sudarso Port in accommodating the activities of departure and arrival of passengers and eliminate the function of containers activity. The futuristic architectural approach is intended to find the need for architectural masterpieces of modern character and stand out along the Ambon Waterfront City development area. This approach represents progress, something new that is different from the other building on the environment and speed points which is identical with building of transportation. So it is expected that through this approach can be generated a redesign concept that can provide first impression for its users.Keyword : Port, Passanger Terminal, Futuristic Architecture, Transportation Building

Abstract

Women and Children Hospital is an useful healthcare facility to improve the health of Indonesian people especially for women, mothers and children. The lack of adequate health facilities in Indonesia for mothers and children, especially in the city of Solo, makes the number of health cases concerning them are still poorly handled and thorough. Therefore, it needs a special health facility that handles the problem, namely Women and Children Hospital with concept that can solve the problem. The appropriate theory for solving the problem is the Physical Outcome Theory (derived from the concept of Healing Environment). That theory serves to help patients in the hospital, to feel comfortable and safe to be treated in it. The research method used is applied research, through the exploration of initial ideas and data collection which then concluded to be a guide in the design analysis. The results of Physical Outcome Theory implementation in buildings, realized through the processing siteplan design, building facade, interiors, and exteriors.

Abstract

Creative economy is becoming an important aspect for our future economy because it is based knowledge and creativity, which are renewable resources. Creative economy needs good quality of creative human resources (creative class) to improve. Indonesia has a huge number of population with 70% of total are working-aged population which are potential in promoting creative economy, yet, Indonesia’s creative industry still can’t compete globally. Some strategies are needed to improve the quality and the quantity of creative class in Indonesia. One of the strategies is by providing creative environment with creative space as medium. A well-designed space can increase motivation, expand creative tempo, entertains and inspires. Creative space should provide attention, stimulation and focus. To achieve such characteristics, Organic Architecture is considered as the right design approach. Organic Architecture principals are used in designing strategy, such as in site analysis, spatial analysis, mass organization, mass transformation and façade programming. Analytical process applying Organic Architecture principals produces the design of creative hub building that optimizes the creative process.
