The Syahbandar tower building is one of the historically valuable buildings in the Old City of Jakarta which was built on top of one of the bastions of the Batavia city fort. The current condition of the Syahbandar Tower is experiencing a slope, so it is necessary to carry out research on the development of the slope that occurs from year to year in order to find a solution for conservation. This research aims to formulate conservation recommendations from the aspect of heritage architecture regarding the current slope of the Syahbandar Tower. The research method is based on visual depictions of field surveys, Google Street View and ancient photos from the beginning of the tower until now. Research findings are based on two-dimensional depictions of architecture. The building slopes towards the neighborhood road by 6.5 degrees. Because of its uniqueness and historical value, architectural conservation efforts are needed, as a form of appreciation for the history of a nation.

Development Efforts and Implementation of Sustainable Tourism in Serangan Bali Tourism VillageThe Serangan Tourism Village requires strengthening a sustainable tourism strategy to optimize the strategic potential of the coastal area which includes 204.37 hectares of RTH-mangrove, religious tourism, and the local creative economy. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through field observations, interviews with managers, Pokdarwis, business actors, the community, and tourists, as well as documentation to analyze the implementation of the three pillars of sustainability. The findings show: environmental aspects are managed through mangrove conservation and Angen Bali's recycling program; the economic aspect is strengthened by the DEWI SITA Program with the development of seafood culinary and local handicrafts; The socio-cultural aspect is maintained through the preservation of Sakenan Temple and the active participation of the younger generation. The research resulted in the concept of an integrated area architecture master plan including conservation zoning, structured creative economy centers, and community-based management systems as a replica model for sustainable tourism village development in Indonesia.

The climate village program is one of the national programs to increase community participation in climate change adaptation. This program is held to prepare communities that are swiftly responsive to current climate change. This study offers a knowledge map of the Climate Village Program drawing from a literature review from 2000 to 2024, which provides an overview of bibliometric analysis approaches, including analysis of time, journals, citations, countries, and institutions. Literature surveys show the direction of research contribution rates has been on an upward trend in recent years. Journal analysis shows that works on climate village programs have not been widely conducted. Hence, a potential for wider opportunities for researchers. The Climate Village Program offers several benefits in tackling climate change and promoting sustainable development. This study suggests collaboration supported by various studies and research.

Pasar Bulu Semarang has experienced a decline in activity despite being revitalized, due to spatial integration issues, especially in terms of circulation, visibility, and connectivity to public transportation. Traditional market revitalization studies have rarely explored spatial strategies that integrate spatial programs. This study uses a force-based framework and design-by-research approach to examine disprogramming as a spatial design method that integrates markets with terminals. Through site observation, precedent studies, and literature reviews, ten main design criteria related to circulation, observability, and spatial flexibility were generated, which were analyzed in a spatial relationship matrix to identify potential program harmonization and contradictions. The results show that disprogramming is effective in creating adaptive and contextual hybrid public spaces. This study contributes a structured design framework for market revitalization strategies in dense urban areas.

Evaluation of Thermal Comfort in Dormitory Buildings in Bandung Through Simulation and Field Measurement ApproachesThe application of passive design in tropical housing often focuses solely on shading and mass orientation, neglecting microclimate performance evaluations. This study aims to reveal thermal discrepancies in the Kost Grage building within a dense settlement in Bandung, referenced to established standards. Employing a quantitative method approach, this research combines Autodesk Forma digital simulations with field measurements (wind speed, relative humidity, and air temperature) for validation. Results indicate that the shaded East Room recorded a higher average temperature (29.16°C) compared to the West Room, which had greater exposure to solar radiation (28.31°C). The study's novelty highlights that this discrepancy is driven by adaptive user behavior; passive design strategies that optimize air openings create cross-ventilation, effectively mitigating heat and supporting the achievement of thermal comfort.

Development of a Sustainable Education Environment Model through Evidence-Based Design at Sekolah Alam BandungEnvironmental education aimed at fostering pro-environmental behavior has become an urgent necessity. The education (school) is seen as an effective environment to encourage such behavior because there are pedagogical elements in its architecture that can educate users about environmental issues. This study examines the elements that play a role in environmental education at Bandung Nature School in a sustainable educational environmental design principle through an evidence-based design framework. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. The results of the study provide six principles of a sustainable educational environment model based on evidence from the Sekolah Alam Bandung: selection of a specific location, massing and placement of buildings, structures and materials, integration of the natural environment, active settings as learning platform, and flexible learning spaces.

Flooding and rising sea levels increasingly threaten residential areas in Indonesia, causing severe property damage and displacement. One potential solution is floating housing, yet its adoption remains limited due to various challenges. This study aims to assess community preferences and perceptions regarding floating housing, identifying perceived benefits and barriers to its implementation. Using a Likert-scale survey, data were collected to evaluate public opinion on safety, feasibility, and accessibility. Results indicate that communities recognize floating housing as a viable flood mitigation strategy, offering resilience and security. However, concerns about high construction costs and complex designs hinder wider acceptance. These findings highlight the need for cost-effective and simplified designs to improve feasibility. The study provides valuable insights for policymakers, architect, engineers, and urban planners in promoting sustainable flood-resilient housing.
