Abstract

The integration of digital technology in education has become an important strategy for improving the quality of learning and addressing the needs of students in the digital era. This study aims to examine the integration of digital technology in learning and its contribution to students’ learning motivation and engagement at SDIT Rabbani, Bengkulu City. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers, and documentation of digital technology use during the learning process. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the use of digital technology, including interactive presentations, educational videos, digital learning platforms, and interactive applications, creates a more engaging and varied learning environment. Digital media helps teachers present learning materials more clearly and provides opportunities for students to participate actively in classroom activities. Students demonstrate increased attention, enthusiasm, participation, and willingness to complete learning activities when digital technology is integrated appropriately. Effective implementation requires teachers to possess adequate digital competencies and to select technology based on learning objectives, student characteristics, and available resources. Digital technology integration can support the development of a more interactive, student-centered, and meaningful learning process. The findings suggest that systematic and pedagogically appropriate use of digital technology can contribute positively to students’ learning motivation and engagement at SDIT Rabbani, Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Financial literacy is an important determinant of individual financial well-being, particularly among elementary school teachers who are expected to make sound financial decisions in managing personal and professional financial responsibilities. However, limited access to structured financial education remains a challenge for teachers in rural communities, potentially affecting their ability to manage finances, make responsible borrowing decisions, develop saving habits, and mitigate financial risks. This study examines the contribution of financial education provided by PNM Mekaar Syariah to strengthening the financial literacy of elementary school teachers at SD Negeri 234/IX Sungai Aur, Jambi, Indonesia. The study focuses on how sharia-oriented financial education influences teachers’ financial knowledge, attitudes, and management practices. A qualitative research design was employed to explore teachers’ experiences, perceptions, and interpretations of the financial education received and its relevance to everyday financial decision-making. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis and analyzed thematically. The findings indicate that financial education provided by PNM Mekaar Syariah contributes to improved financial literacy, particularly in financial planning, responsible borrowing, saving practices, and prudent financial decision-making. The integration of sharia principles also promotes greater awareness of responsible financial behavior, including financial sustainability, avoidance of excessive debt, and disciplined financial planning. The study concludes that contextually relevant, sharia-based financial education can support financial inclusion and sustainable financial behavior among teachers in rural communities. These findings highlight the potential of community-based Islamic financial institutions to strengthen financial capabilities and financial resilience at the grassroots level.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed educational practices and increasingly necessitates the development of students’ digital competencies from an early stage of education. This study investigates the role of Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL) in enhancing digital competencies among students at MI Nurul Huda. The study is grounded in the assumption that the meaningful integration of technology into learning activities can foster not only students’ technical proficiency but also their ability to access, evaluate, create, and communicate information effectively and responsibly. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, this study explores the implementation of technology-enhanced learning, students’ engagement with digital learning resources, and the development of their digital competencies through classroom observations, interviews, and relevant documentation. The findings indicate that the integration of digital technologies into learning activities contributes positively to students’ digital competencies, particularly in terms of basic technology operation, information access, digital communication, collaborative learning, and responsible use of digital resources. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of TEL is influenced by several factors, including teachers’ digital competence, the availability of technological infrastructure, students’ varying levels of digital literacy, and the need for appropriate pedagogical guidance. The study concludes that Technology-Enhanced Learning can serve as an effective pedagogical approach for strengthening students’ digital competencies when technology is integrated purposefully within a supportive learning environment. These findings highlight the importance of continuous teacher development, adequate technological resources, and contextually relevant digital learning strategies to ensure the sustainable development of digital competencies among students at the elementary madrasah level.
