Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the largest number of Muslims in the world, who read verses of the Qur'an often heard in various public places such as mosques, prayer rooms, and at various activities. Utilization of Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) as word recognition which aims to find out the verses of the Qur'an that are read to increase knowledge about the verses and other supporting information as a means of preaching in conveying knowledge about the verses of Al-Qur'an. Al-Qur'an. Automatic Speech Recognitions (ASR) is designed using the Python programming language and uses the Django framework to display information about the verses that are read in the form of a web-based display. This research aims to create a technique and system for entering voice commands into machines, so that machines can understand what humans say and obey what they are told. This application converts data into text data using a voice recognition system automatically with a digital audio pattern of spoken words from a speech pattern computer model to produce the final output in the form of text that is stored in the database.

Abstract

One of the efforts to encourage student creativity is to include and participate in the Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM),  the Ministry of Education and Culture initiated. Politeknik Caltex Riau (PCR), through the study program and Student Affairs, manages this PKM to encourage students to innovate and be involved in this PKM. However, the ongoing PKM management has not been well documented, so post-PKM activities are not followed up. It is necessary to have an information system that is used as a media for documenting this PKM management. Information System of Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (SI PKM) was developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach; the process is carried out from gathering stakeholder needs, business process analysis, model development, and implementation into the program. The resulting information system can provide a recap of PKM activities, monitoring of guidance carried out between students and lecturers, and visualization in the form of a dashboard to see the involvement of students and study programs in PKM. Based on the results of the Blackbox testing that has been carried out, it is concluded that the PKM management information system has been running well.

Abstract

This paper presents the design of an application system to quickly determine the halal product status circulating in Indonesian society by checking certification ID from LPPOM MUI. This is conducted to overcome the anxiety of the Muslim community in Indonesia on halal-labelled products that are sold in supermarkets and traditional markets. The system consists of two parts. Part one of the system uses PHP programming to record the halal certification of products and generate QR codes. Part two of the system uses an android application to scan the product's halal certification status from the QR codes. The information displayed on android is the product's name, the product manufacturer, the status of the product's halal certification, and other information. The results show that the application successfully scans the QR code and displays information on the halal certification status of the product. The smallest size of QR code version 1 that can be scanned is 0.6 x 06cm. The longest distance was 13cm.

Abstract

Peran teknologi informasi dalam pendidikan juga sangat besar. Peran buku tamu atau guestbook sebagai bukti kegiatan pelayanan teknologi informasi. Membuat buku tamu untuk mencatat kehadiran pengunjung. Fungsi dasar penggunaan buku tamu adalah untuk mencatat pengunjung atau orang yang berkunjung ke suatu tempat, lembaga atau perpustakaan. Pendaftaran informasi tamu masih terutama melalui catatan log, dan tamu sering mengalami kesalahan, membuat buku tamu berantakan dan bersih, dan jika ingin mencari informasi tamu yang sudah lama disimpan, akan memakan waktu lama mencari. Data tamu akan lebih sulit, Buku tamu ini mengadopsi teknologi RFID, sehingga RFID dapat digunakan sebagai solusi alternatif untuk mengidentifikasi data pengunjung yang tersimpan dalam program database dengan mendukung gelombang elektromagnetik. Hasil untuk penelitian ini ialah sistem absensi menunggu tag RFID dimasukkan. Ketika tag RFID terdeteksi, pembaca RFID mengambil data dari tag RFID dan kemudian mengirimkannya ke situs web melalui NodeMCU ESP8226 sebagai data input. Jika data tersebut merupakan data input yang dibutuhkan oleh website, maka data tersebut disimpan dalam database. Langkah selanjutnya terjadi di area menu hasil pembacaan kartu ID jika data yang tersimpan di database dapat diambil secara otomatis dengan RFID.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of student motivation in learning history. Students find history lessons full of memorization and boring. Even though studying history has an important role in the life of a nation because history lessons instill values ​​of the spirit of patriotism, provide moral values, and build the character of a nation. Therefore, this study aims to see the historical Role Playing Game (RPG) 's learning impact on learning motivation and teaching the value of student attitudes from the material presented in the game. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method. The research subjects were 32 students of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. Data was collected through a questionnaire with a reliability value of rxy = 0.884 and a validity value = 0.645 (> 0.349). The result showed that students' learning motivation significantly impacts their attitude and knowledge value. The RPG game of historical education gives effect to 88% knowledge improvement, attitude (patriotism, moral values ​​, and critical thinking) by 87% motivation, so that students are interested to learn and feel not bored with the average value of 89% with an excellent appraisal. Attitude values, and historical knowledge in the educational game, have a positive relationship with the motivation to learn. Learning history using historical RPG games provides a positive learning impact on student's motivation to learn history.

Abstract

Simulation of electromagnetic in 1D has been done using FDTD method. The simulation is conducted on some scenario, starting from one-dimensional free space, absorbing boundary condition in one dimension, propagation in a dielectric medium, simulating different sources, and propagation in a lossy dielectric medium. To accelerate calculation process, parallel programming technique is used on looping parts of simulation.

Abstract

Healthcare issues are currently the most researched issues worldwide. Many healthcare researchers collaborate with non-healthcare researchers to improve the quality of healthcare. The knowledge graph is a widely used computer science and mathematics approach to solve healthcare issues. It can model the relationship between events to build new knowledge. Hence, a comprehensive study on knowledge graph modeling in healthcare was conducted in this study. The research methodologies in this study were: (1) article retrieval and general bibliometric analysis; (2) visualization of research distribution; and (3) research recommendations. In the last three years, 867 articles were retrieved from three databases. The citation metrics analysis was also conducted to determine the quality level of articles retrieval. An analysis was conducted using network and density visualization related to the relationship between research topics and trends. The final results in this paper are recommendations for research topics and research titles related to knowledge graph modeling in healthcare.

Abstract

Tunarungu adalah hilangnya pendengaran baik salah satu telinga maupun keduanya. Untuk melakukan komunikasi tunarungu menggunakan bahasa isyarat menggunakan kedua tangannya. Saat ini terdapat 2 sistem bahasa isyarat yaitu BISINDO dan SIBI. Bahasa isyarat adalah bahasa yang menggunakan gerakan tubuh berupa tangan dan bibir untuk menjelaskan sebuah arti. Namun masih banyak masyarakat yang belum paham dengan bahasa isyarat, oleh karena itu dilakukan sebuah penelitian dengan menggunakan metode deep gated recurrent unit (GRU) yang dapat membaca gerakan tangan pada video bahasa isyarat indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 class yaitu ucapan hallo, terimakasih, dan sama sama. Tahapan yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari pengolahan video atau proses pre-processing pada video. Pengujian terhadap 45 video data training dan 36 video data testing. Pengujian yang dilakukan terhadap data testing menghasilkan nilai akurasi sebesar 88%.

Abstract

Legal Documentation and Information Network (JDIH) is one of the government agencies in the field of law, which is regulated by Presidential Regulation Number 33 of 2012. JDIH consists of central and regional levels, at the provincial level the Bureau of Law and Human Rights is the center of JDIH in its territory. JDIH at the provincial level has the duties and functions to provide guidance and evaluation at the members. To measure the level of community satisfaction with JDIH members in West Java, a survey was conducted using the 360 review ​​method on the website https://jdih.jabarprov.go.id/review.php/. The results contained 18,045 raw data. After preprocessing, 46 datasets and 11 attributes were generated. Cluster modeling uses the K-Means algorithm, the results are evaluated by the Davies Boulding Index (DBI) method. Evaluation results show a low level of similarity so that the distance between clusters is getting higher. On this study is classified into 4 clusters, the lowest satisfaction indicator is known to be in cluster 3 which consists of 10 regions. In this research can be used to determining policies for the government of West Java Province.

Abstract

The utilization of the internet in the tourism is very helpful for tourists in planning trips, including in exploring local tourist areas. The existence of special media such as smart tourism web facilities to publish local tourist attractions and tourist facilities in the local area certainly help stakeholders and tourists. To facilitate the tourists as web users to access information about visited area, it is necessary to have a recommendation system that can provide a recommendation regarding the tourist needs such as tourist destinations, lodging, restaurants and even souvenir shops typical of the local area. Recommendation system development can be done through two basic methods, namely: Content Based Recommendation and Collaborative Filtering. This study aims to show how to implement content-based filtering in providing content-based recommendations on supporting the development of smart tourism webby utilizing cosine similarity and K-Nearest Neighbor. This study shows that Content Based Recommendation can provide recommendation according to the tourist needs based on the content that has been selected by other users.
