KINETIK journal is a scientific research journal for Informatics and Electrical Engineering. It is open for anyone who desire to develop knowledge based on qualified research in any field. Submitted papers are evaluated by anonymous referees by double-blind peer review for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation. The Editor shall inform you of the results of the review as soon as possible, hopefully within 4 - 8 weeks. Implementasi sistem informasi KRS-online dalam perkuliahan digunakan untuk membantu proses penyusunan KRS oleh setiap mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan menguji variabel-variabel serta indikator yang mempengaruhi kesuksesan sistem informasi KRS-online UMM. Model penelitian ini mengadopsi model penelitian DeLone and Mclean IS Success. Kuesioner yang disusun dalam penelitian ini disebarkan kepada 100 responden yang memiliki kualifikasi sebagai mahasiswa pengguna sistem KRS-online. Uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas dilakukan untuk memperoleh data yang valid dan reliabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas sistem memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna, kualitas informasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna, kualitas layanan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna dan kepuasan pengguna memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap net benefit. Berdasarkan hasil Analisis ditunjukkan bahwa kesuksesan sistem informasi KRS-online UMM memiliki persentase sebesar 70,5% yang artinya kesuksesan sistem informasi KRS-online UMM berada pada tingkatan sukses.

To know the type of bird, most people know from the shape of bird species and the sound of birds. In this study, it identified the pattern of bird sounds. The bird sounds studied were Canary Trills, Vulture and Crow birds. In the introduction of the type of bird sound pattern in this study using the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) method and Gaussian value. The researcher conducted several steps to get the sound model of birds, among others, namely (1) bird sound input in the form of WAV file, (2) Hamming Windowing, (3) DFT / FFT, (4) Mel Bank Filter, (5) DCT, and (6) Value Gaussian. The output obtained is in the form of vector values and represented in graphical form. The results obtained in the study of pattern recognition of bird sound types get the results of observations in the same bird sound duration and frequency of the same, then the same pattern is obtained in the same bird as evidenced by calculating the closest distance value with Bray Curtis method. For the same duration of time and the length of the frequency that is not the same; it found that the pattern of bird sounds is not the same.

Owing to the limited energy of sensor nodes (SNs) in a wireless sensor network (WSN), it is important to reduce and balance the energy consumption of the SNs in order to extend the WSN lifetime. Clustering mechanism is a highly efficient and effective mechanism for minimizing the amount of energy that SNs consume during the transmission of data packets. In this paper, an election energy threshold based multi-hop routing protocol (mEEMRP) is presented. In order to minimize energy consumption, this routing protocol uses grid clustering, where the network field is divided into grid clusters. SNs in each grid cluster select a cluster head (CH) based on a weight factor that takes the node location, node’s residual energy (RE) as well as the node’s distance from the base station into consideration. An energy efficient multi-hop routing algorithm is adopted during the transmission of data packets from the cluster heads (CHs) to the base station (BS). This multi-hop routing algorithm uses an election energy threshold value, TnhCH that takes into consideration the RE of CHs as well as the distance between CHs. Simulation results show a 1.77% and 10.65% improvement in terms of network lifetime for two network field scenarios over Energy Efficient Multi-hop Routing Protocol (EEMRP).

Konsep Object Oriented Programming (OOP) merupakan pemrograman yang dibangun dengan berpusat pada beberapa objek. Dengan konsep OOP dapat dilakukan pengukuran kualitas perangkat lunak dengan melalui kemungkinan hubungan antar beberapa objek atau kopling. Perangkat lunak yang baik adalah perangkat lunak yang memiliki desain yang baik, salah satu ciri-cirinya adalah memiliki nilai kopling yang rendah. Nilai kopling yang tinggi dapat menyebabkan desain perangkat lunak yang semakin kompleks dan buruk, sehingga akan mengakibatkan sulit untuk dipahami, terutama saat maintenance. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas perangkat lunak perlu mengontrol nilai kopling agar dapat meminimalkan kompleksitas perangkat lunak. Namun perhitungan nilai kopling secara manual pada jumlah perangkat lunak yang banyak akan membutuhkan waktu dan sumber daya yang besar. Oleh karena itu dibuatlah kakas bantu perhitungan nilai kopling menggunakan metrik Cognitive Weighted Coupling Between Object (CWCBO). Metrik CWCBO merupakan metrik kopling yang didasarkan pada bobot pemahaman untuk menghitung perbedaan jenis kopling dari berbagai peneliti. Kakas bantu tersebut dibangun dengan bahasa pemrograman utama Java, library Spoon untuk menganalisis source code, dan library JFreeChart untuk menampilkan grafik. Dari hasil pengujian akurasi sistem pada 5 program inputan berbahasa Java didapatkan akurasi sebesar 100%. Pengujian akurasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan perhitungan secara manual dan dengan sistem.

Preprocessing is an essential task for sentiment analysis since textual information carries a lot of noisy and unstructured data. Both stemming and stopword removal are pretty popular preprocessing techniques for text classification. However, the prior research gives different results concerning the influence of both methods toward accuracy on sentiment classification. Therefore, this paper conducts further investigations about the effect of stemming and stopword removal on Indonesian language sentiment analysis. Furthermore, we propose four preprocessing conditions which are with using both stemming and stopword removal, without using stemming, without using stopword removal, and without using both. Support Vector Machine was used for the classification algorithm and TF-IDF as a weighting scheme. The result was evaluated using confusion matrix and k-fold cross-validation methods. The experiments result show that all accuracy did not improve and tends to decrease when performing stemming or stopword removal scenarios. This work concludes that the application of stemming and stopword removal technique does not significantly affect the accuracy of sentiment analysis in Indonesian text documents.

One of diabetic complications is vision disturbance known as Diabetic Retinopathy (DR). Early detection becomes vital to prevent the development of DR by routine examination of the patient's eyes. This study developed a software application that can automatically segment the image of the eye retina, expected to assist eye specialists in performing DR detection using computer aids. The system implementation uses Visual C# 2010 software with 36 retinal images of the Drishti-GS1 dataset. The clinical features of the retina that can be used to detect DR are microaneurysms, hard and soft exudates, hemorrhages, neovascularization, and macular edema. Optic Disc (OD) segmentation is an important step to detect these features. This study aimed to detect OD using red channel, inversion, contrast enhancement, median filtering, and thresholding. The final result of the OD segmentation was validated by measuring the positive predictive value (PPV). The result of PPV for the detection of OD to ground truth image reached 90.924%.

A general introduction to pests and diseases of palm oil crops in relation with the business of palm oil cultivation is necessary to increase the productivity of palm oil plantations. Unfortunately, the number of experts and researchers having expertise in palm oil plants are still very small. To overcome this, an expert system is needed to diagnose diseases and pests in palm oil crops. Therefore, this study proposes an expert system for diagnosing palm tree diseases and pests. The diagnosis begins by entering the initial symptoms, then the system will display other related symptoms. Finally, the system will display the diagnosis of the symptoms entered. This expert system will ease farmers in identifying diseases and pests based on early symptoms; hence, necessary prevention and early treatment of the disease can be accurately conducted.

The growing information technology is very rapidly, the more evolving crime techniques to find information that is confidential. The Internet is one of the main media in disseminating information. The use of security on the internet still needs to be developed. Based on these problems, the type of research undertaken in the writing of this final task is the type of experimental research by developing methods that have been done by previous researchers to hide secret data that is inserted into the audio * .wav so that the security and confidentiality of data can be guaranteed. data security can be done with various methods, including cryptography and steganography. Cryptography is a technique for encrypting messages and steganography is a message concealment technique. This insertion type uses binary ASCII character code. In the cryptographic process, using the Vigenere Cipher algorithm and in the steganography, process using the algorithm (LSB) Least Significant Bits. The merger of the two techniques resulted in a better new digital image security system and increased the value of MSE, PSNR and Execution time. Then the test results in the evaluation using BER and histogram analysis. Good audio quality has a minimum value of 30 dB PSNR. In the embedding process using combinations of vigenere and LSB methods, Audio 15 is the best audio compared to other audio. Audio 15 has a smaller MSE (0.001656) value and a larger PSNR (124.138499) value than any other audio when embeded messages *.txt file with character 4096.
