Abstract

Abstract The article discusses the comparison of Ihdad provision between KHI and Imam Syafi’i. KHI states that Ihdad must be done during ‘iddah for wives left by their husband due to death as a symbol of grief and avoiding slender. These wives, according to Imam Syafi’i, must do Ihdad in case they are adults, children, kafir dzimmis, or slaves. The distinctive is also found in the law consequence that should be accepted during Ihdad. In KHI there is no law that sets things forbidden during Ihdah in details as Imam Syafi’i’s fiqh provision. Abstract

Abstract This article discusses the urgency of spiritual leadership in the world of education, which is examined from the perspective of the interpretation of the Koran. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the character of spiritual leadership has three dimensions: being able to bring the worldly dimension to the spiritual dimension (divinity) and maintaining ethical values. Secondly, being able to motivate and inspire the civitas and stakeholders in Islamic educational institutions in achieving the vision and academic culture and morale of Islamic educational organizations. Third, able to create commitment and dedication of the entire community, which in turn also has an impact on increasing the sincerity and professionalism of serving the progress of Islamic educational institutions. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to know the implementation strategy of Kufi calligraphy teaching that had an impact on the development of visual-spatial intelligence at MI Ma'arif Setono Ponorogo. This type of research is included in the field research with a descriptive-qualitative approach. Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation methods, while data analysis uses data reduction techniques, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results showed that visual-spatial intelligence could be developed through several strategies, there are: art activities, drawing and painting, introducing colouring techniques, recognize the basic geometry, making handicrafts, invite them to recognize objects and rooms around them, and introduce navigation. Abstract

Abstract This article describes the curriculum in Islamic education with the results of the analysis of the study, which concludes first, the content of the curriculum is oriented to "God". Formulation of curriculum content related to divinity, knowing His essence, nature, deeds, and relation to humans and the universe. Second, the content of the curriculum is oriented to "humanity". Formulation of curriculum content related to human behaviour, both humans as individual beings, social beings, cultural beings and intelligent beings. Third, the content of the curriculum is oriented to "nature"—formulation of curriculum content related to the phenomena of the universe as mandated creatures and humans' benefit. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of the research was to find the concept and formulation of technocratic planning policy on character education of Indonesian Islamic values. This research method uses a qualitative approach, data collection process using literature review and official documents. The results of this study found the integration of the concept of Indonesian Islamic values in the formulation of technocratic planning policy on character education of Indonesian Islamic values, through policy design that begins with the analysis of macro and micro context of character education, integration of Islamic values with the framework of mission vision and priority stages of nation character development, target choice and control of strategies of Indonesian Islamic values in the regional structure and curriculum of Islamic education units. Abstract

Abstract This article examines the dimensions of the ontology of Islamic education and its implications for the quality of madrasas in Indonesia. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. Descriptive research in this study aims to explain the nature of the ontology of Islamic education. The source is taken from scientific books that have been used as references. While the data collection technique in this research is a literature study. The discussion in the ontology of Islamic education includes the basic concepts of Islamic education, sources of Islamic education, goals of Islamic education, the concept of educators and students in Islam, methods of Islamic education, and the environment in Islamic education. Abstract This article intends to briefly describe how the philosophy of science relates to scientific research and social life. This paper proposes a proposition that the philosophy of science is a holistic foundation in scientific research in general, and there is a close relationship between the philosophy of science and scientific research and the social life of society. Abstract

Abstract This study found that Arabic during the Umayyad Daula and Daula Abbasid became the language of theology, the language of communication and the language of state administration which developed in line with the region's expansion over the Arabization policy. During the Abbasid Daula, Arabic continued the role in the Umayyad period and then developed into a language of knowledge that acted as a bridge connecting science through government policies by carrying out translation movements. The education system in this classical period was teacher-oriented, not institution oriented, which means that the quality of education depends on the teacher, not on the institution. Meanwhile, the Arabic language learning system was implicitly the same as the Islamic learning system at the two periods because Arabic was the language medium for studying Islam and other sciences. Abstract

Abstract This article discusses Islamic Family Law and Law Number 35 Year 2014 concerning Protection and Fulfillment of Children's Rights. The analysis results get two conclusions. First, in article 26 paragraph (1) and (2) of RI Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection explains that parents have an obligation and responsibility to nurture, care for, and protect and grow and develop children according to their abilities, talents, and interests. Both are in line with Islamic law which states that parents are required to provide rights to children both immaterial and material in nature, among others; the right to be given a good name, the right to receive education, the right to earn a living, the power of inheritance inherent to every individual, the right to receive care, care and maintenance. Abstract

Abstract Changing the paradigm of thinking in looking at fiqh is indeed a necessity. Because fiqh appears not only as a measuring tool for truth, but is required to be able to appear as a reader of social reality and then be able to take certain attitudes and actions on the existing social reality. So that later fiqh has a dual function; firstly as a tool for measuring social reality, and secondly as a tool of social engineering.
