Abstract

A web-based village government information system can encourage the community to participate in village development actively. On the other hand, web-based information transparency can improve the orderly administration of village government. The main problem with village government officials in Segorotambak Village is the lack of knowledge and skills of village officials regarding the management and utilization of village information systems. This program aims to increase the capacity of village officials in managing village information systems and to encourage the creation of orderly administration of the Segorotambak Village government, Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency. The implementation methods include (a) training in the application of village information systems 3.10 in administering village apparatus administration and (b) training in the management and utilization of village information systems on a continuous basis and assistance for its sustainability. The results of the service show that (a) there is an increase in the knowledge of the village apparatus by 63% and (b) an increase in knowledge and skills in the management and use of the village information system (SID) by 62%.

Abstract

People with disabilities have had difficulty finding jobs in the formal sector. However, entrepreneurship gives an alternative for expanding job opportunities. Accordingly, the Covid-19 pandemic in the past two years has caused many businesses to stop. The same applies to businesses run by persons with disabilities in Argodadi Village, Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Thus, the Community Partnership Program aims to overcome these problems to obtain additional income from oyster mushroom cultivation. The applied method was through a tutorial and practical. Techniques for implementing activities included training, practice, and mentoring. This activity incited the motivation of persons with disabilities in Argodadi Village. Knowledge and skills also increased in oyster mushroom cultivation, and dry food products from oyster mushrooms could be produced. In addition, the understanding of persons with disabilities in management and entrepreneurship could be improved. The assistance to the Argodadi Village Disability Group was held so that independent entrepreneurs could function properly. The development of oyster mushroom cultivation for persons with disabilities can be done at home.

Abstract

The PE Goat Farm Complex, with an area of about 600 m2 located in Mertosutan Hamlet, Sidoluhur Village, Godean District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region Province, has a lighting system from a hybrid solar home panel system with solar panels as the main source and PLN as a backup source. The system for switching resources from solar panels to PLN sources or vice versa is carried out automatically with an ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) circuit so that no human resources are needed for its operations. The performance of the solar home system is the most important element in the supply system, so it needs to be monitored regularly. This program aims to design a solar home system performance monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The method applied in this program is Design Improvement. The design of the system is made by adding a series of electrical components that are applied to the solar home system at the location. The power, current, voltage, and light intensity generated by the solar home system are sent to the application via the internet in real-time. The results of testing the implementation of an IoT-based monitoring system design can work optimally with a 100% success rate. The implication is that the use of a solar home system at the Marsudi Luhur Goat Farm Complex can be maintained for stability and sustainable performance through an IoT-based monitoring system that has been implemented.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Charu Dhatri explained that there were difficulties in formulating the Cost of Production (HPP) because there were on-off workers who depended on the volume of orders. The number of workers is determined by fluctuations in orders. Therefore, workers’ wages are difficult to include in the calculation of HPP. In response, community service activities were carried out to overcome it. The solution offered to solve the partner’s problems was by providing training and assistance in calculating the cost of production (HPP). The results show that MSME production activities can run smoothly according to the plan, while partners actively participate in activities, and there is an increase in knowledge of 26.19% after training and mentoring. After that, the partner’s satisfaction through the programs and activities reached a very good level. The next hope is that Charu Dhatri’s MSME business activities will run well, healthy, and sustainably.

Abstract

The waste problem is an urgent issue that has not been resolved in various regions until now. To overcome this problem, the Head of Subdistrict Banjarsari took the initiative to create a PAPISARIMAH (Forced Sorting Garbage From Home) program. However, not all residents are well-informed about the program. This observation aimed to educate residents to sort organic and inorganic waste from their homes to make it easier to classify waste when transported to the TPA. This service was carried out in Tapen Village RW 6, Nusukan, Banjarsari District, Surakarta. The implementation was conducted through socialization which consists of (1) lecture method, (2) demonstration method, (3) question and answer, and (4) direction. The result of this service, namely the socialization of sorting waste in Tapen Village, received a positive response from the residents, and more residents became self-aware of sorting waste from their homes. Also, the residents intend to sustain the program by gradually forming a Waste Bank. Meanwhile, officers went around every house to pick up inorganic waste, such as plastic bottles, to sell to collectors.

Abstract

Bluluk Gallery is one of the MSMEs engaged in the dried flower craft business initiated in 2006 after the Yogyakarta earthquake, located in Ngabean Hamlet, RT 03, Triharjo Village, Pandak District, Bantul Regency. This program is based on the condition of the Bluluk Gallery SMEs, which are still having production and marketing constraints due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This program aims to improve the production and marketing performance of the Bluluk Gallery SMEs' dried flower products. The program implementation was through socialization, training, and direct practice using the media. The results showed that the knowledge and skills of the Bluluk Gallery MSME managers have increased, which are implemented in the form of business management, production management, and online product marketing through digital marketing optimization.

Abstract

Based on the Nutrition Status Monitoring (PSG) data in 2019, the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia was recorded at 27.67 percent. This figure is still above the standard set by WHO, which should not exceed 20 percent. The prevalence of stunting in Central Java showed an increase from 2014 to 2017, while the prevalence of stunting in Semarang City was 21.0%. It is feared that the increased prevalence will continue to increase due to the low or even non-functioning posyandu in the new normal era. This condition causes the skill capacity of the cadres in anthropometric measurements to decrease. This was triggered by the concerns of most mothers about the transmission of Covid-19. This service aims to maintain and increase the activity capacity of posyandu cadres in the new normal era, especially in preventing stunting. The implementation method was carried out by counseling about stunting, training and assisting cadres in anthropometric measurements, filling out and interpreting the Towards Health Card (KMS), preparing stunting books and posyandu menus. Stages of activities include preparation, implementation, and evaluation of the program. The results of the service showed an increase in knowledge of cadres before and after being given education by 53%. In addition, there was a significant difference in the knowledge of the health care providers before and after the intervention.

Abstract

Social media and e-commerce, such as Instagram and Shopee, are market platforms in great demand by the public because of the ease of transactions and their product variety. The existence of these media can help Bumdes Sambigede, Sumberpucung District, Malang Regency in reaching out to potential consumers widely. The purpose of this service is to improve the knowledge and skills of managers in marketing BUMDES products based on e-marketing. The research was held through surveys, and direct experiments/practices carried out through training and mentoring. The results of this activity were in the form of a BUMDES product brand logo, rengginang product stickers/labels, BUMDES Instagram media, and a marketplace at Shopee to promote products widely by maximizing existing features and supporting applications.

Abstract

The garbage on Jimbaran Beach poses a serious ecological problem because it causes pollution and has disrupted beauty and health. Jimbaran Village Beach is a beach tourism area that needs to be managed properly, considering that tourist visits have started to increase so that the potential for waste disposal is also increasing. This service activity seeks to (a) raise awareness and the active role of the community in environmental conservation and (b) increase community self-reliance through waste management. The solutions and methods applied are participatory. The community, as the main actor in healthy environmental action, processes waste into products of economic value. The results of service activities show the formation of community mindsets and behavior in waste management based on the 3R concept (reduce, reuse, and recycle). Waste is processed into organic fertilizer with the help of waste processing equipment. The community becomes skilled in processing organic waste into fertilizer that can be used in the agricultural industry.
