Abstract

This study aims to determine contribution of flexibility waist and leg muscle power exsplosive to the shooting accuracy soccer athletes SMA N 3 South Bengkulu. This study uses correlation method where the data obtained from the field is transformed into numbers so do statistical calculations. The study population was a high school student N 3 South Bengkulu incorporated in extracurricular activities with the number of students 58 people. Samples were taken by using purposive sampling with a sampling of 25 people. Data collected by the waist with a flexibility test flexiometer tool, explosive power leg muscle premises standing broad jump test. And the accuracy of target shooting with a soccer test. The data collected was analyzed by correlation. The result showed that flexibility waist contributed 32,8% to shooting accuracy, leg muscle power exsplosive contributed 24,6% to shooting accuracy, flexibility waist and leg muscle power exsplosive contributed 57,4% to shooting accuracy

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the performance of teachers can be improved through the use of props with direct learning in SDN 007 Rokan IV Koto. The teacher who became the subject of research consists of 13 teachers. Characteristics of teachers have a heterogeneous motivation, but can not be said to use props intensively while doing the learning. From the description of data processing and discussion, it can be concluded that the performance of teachers is obtained in the first cycle of 63% with good category and in the second cycle increased to 76% with good category. Meaning that Activity Use props with direct learning can improve teacher performance in SDN 007 Rokan IV Koto said successful.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the relationship the reaction speed and explosive power leg muscles to kick the side of the athlete Wushu Sanshou category Nikken UNP. This study is correlational is to determine how much the relationship variables with one another. The population in this study is the athletes Wushu Sanshou category Nikken UNP totaling 20 people, and the sample amounted to 17 people were executed in the place of training athletes Wushu Sanshou categories in November 2011 by using purposive sampling technique. Based on the calculation of product moment correlation, 1) There is no significant relationship between the rate of reaction to the result side kick (cechuitui) in athletes Wushu class Sanshou Nikken UNP obtained rhitung = 0.045 <rtabel = 0.482, 2) There is a significant correlation explosive power of leg muscles the results side kick (cechuitui) at Athletes Wushu class Sanshou Nikken UNP obtained rhitung = 0.584> rtabel = 0.842, 3) There is a significant correlation reaction speed and explosive power leg muscles to kick the side (cechuitui) at Athletes Wushu Category Sanshou Nikken UNP obtained rhitung = 0.618 obtained Fhitung = 4.341> F table = 3.59

Abstract

The aim of this research was to reveal the influence of Think Pair Share cooperative learning model and initial ability on learning outcomes biology class VIII of SMPN 38 Sijunjung. This was a Quasi Experimental research which used 2 x 2 factorial design. The population of the research was the students in class VIII os SMPN 38 Sijunjung in academic year 2015/2016. By using saturated sampling technique, class VIII1 was chosen as the experimental class and class VIII2 was as the control class. The instruments of the research were posttest which was intended to identify the students’ learning outcomes. The results of the research revealed that (1) Think Pair Share cooperative learning model exerted an influence upon learning outcomes of the students having either high or low initial ability, (2) there was no interaction between Think Pair Share cooperative learning model and the students’ initial ability toward the students’ learning outcomes in Biology

Abstract

This action research is generally aimed to improve the learning outcomes of PPKN on shared decision-making materials through role-playing methods in grade V SD students through the implementation of cooperative learning method in the first semester of SDN 003 Rambah Hilir. The data in this study were collected using tests, student observation sheets, teacher observation sheets, and field notes. The type of research is classroom action research. The research procedure consists of planning, execution, observation and reflection. The results revealed that preliminary results showed that students' absorptive capacity in the pre cycle earned a formative average score of 68 from the established KKM 75. From the 23 students only 12 students or 52% who scored 75 and above, while the other 10 students 43% scored below 75. For the first cycle students achieved 69% completeness and in the second cycle of 96%. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that there is a significant increase if the teacher uses the method and the right way of learning so that students can learn with passion and achieve the achievement that we expect

Abstract

This research was aims to explain the extent to which the reading interest contributed toward the students’ ability in reading comprehension in class XI of SMA Negeri I Kuok Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau; This was a correlational research whose population was students in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Kuok Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau registered in academic year 2013/2014. The sample was taken by using total sampling technique, there 53 students was chosen as thesample. The instruments of this research were questionnaires and test which had been tested their validity and reliability. The data gotten then was analyzed by using Pearson Product Moment (PPM) correlation test, multiple correlation test, ttest, F-test, and determinant coefficient formulation to see the extent to which independent variables contributed toward the dependent variable. The result of the research indicated that the students’ reading interests contributed significantly (33,9) toward the students’ ability in reading comprehension because t arithmetic > t table or 5,110 > 1,684. These results indicated that reading interest either contributed significantly toward the students’ ability in reading comprehension in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Kuok Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student achievement PKn students by using cooperatif learning model combined and brainstroming suggestions. This type of research is action research using three cycles. The subject of research that is the class IV SDN 002 Rambah. The result of the study showed that student learning increased from cycle I (70,0%), cycle II (77,7%), cycle III (92,0%). Based on the result and analysis of the study concluded that cooperative learning method of combined model of lectures and brains stroming can improve students learning achievement

Abstract

This study aims to improve the results of mathematics learning by using excample non example in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 004 Kepenuhan Rokan Hulu. The subjects of this study are students of class IV which amounted to 20 students. Classroom action research is conducted in 2 cycles. Data collection in this study using the results of tests and observations. The results showed that learning by using the media images can improve the results of learning mathematics class IV SD 004 Kepenuhan. In the initial condition of the result before the action is given an average value of 65.20. In cycle I using example non excample class average value increased to 77.50. In cycle II showed an increase with the average obtained 90.70

Abstract

This research was a quantitative research using correlation method. From the results of research conducted data analysis shows that (1)the ability of reading comprehension contribute significantly by 18.9% to the text responses descriptive writing skills. (2) Mastery of vocabulary contributes significantly by 23.2% to the text responses descriptive writing skills. (3) The ability of reading comprehension and vocabulary together contribute significantly by 33.9% to the text responses descriptive writing skills

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the basic technique of throwing discs, such as the placement of the disc grip of the hand, the positioning of the body when throwing discs, how to swing discs and the way foot repulsion while releasing the disc. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The samples were all students of SMP YLPI P.Marpoyan Kota Pekanbaru consisting of 24 students consisting of 12 males and12 females. Classroom Action Research is conducted in two cycles. The research instrument used is activity sheet of learners. Result of research indicate that there is improvement of basic technique ability throw disc students of class VIIIa SMP YLPI P. Marpoyan city Pekanbaru through method of demonstration.
