Abstract

This development research has a goal delevoping OASIS based module with the subject of work and energy to increase critical thinking skills of students. The development module contains the subject of work and energy, Oriented activities from an OASIS learning model (Orientation, Analysis, Synthesis, Investigation, Synergy), examples and exercises. The limited ADDIE model procedure which includes analysis, design, development, implementation. The development module is validated by 10 material and media experts. The results of validation are calculated using CVR and CVI calculations. CVI score of material experts is 0,8 and CVI score of media expers is 0,82, both of which are very suitable criteria. N-gain test was conduted in small classes to know the increase critical thinking skills of students. The n-gain result of critical thinking skill test was 0,66 in moderate category. Pretest homogenity test with Sig 0,535 and posttest homogeneity with Sig 0,678 greater than alpha 0,05. Meanwhile pretest normality test with Sig 0,638 and posttest normality test with Sig 0,180 greater than alpha 0,05. The t test paired sample test to know there’s an average difference in pretest and posttest , the value Sig 0,000 smaller than alpha 0,05. Meanwhile the result of student responses showed 73,3% in good category. In conclusion, effectiveness of the application of an OASIS based physics module is able to increase critical thinking skills of students.Keywords: Module, OASIS Based, Critical Thinking Skill

Abstract

Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSC) is photovoltaic with a dye that functions as an acceptor of sunlight. The great potential of using DSSC lies in the ease of the synthesis process, and the dyes used can come from plants. However, like most other solar cells, increasing the operating temperature can degrade the DSSC performance and thus decrease the efficiency. This article presents a model of the relationship between the effect of temperature on DSSC performance. The model proposed is derived from the DSSC equivalence with a diode circuit. By confirming the experimental research results, it is known that the model presented in this study has excellent accuracy on various DSSC performance parameters (R2> 0.99). The performance studied includes the I-V curve's shape, the value of the short-circuit current, the diode leakage current, and the open-circuit voltage. Based on daily temperature data in Pangkalpinang City, the potential performance of the DSSC could also be determined when it was developed in Kep. Bangka Belitung. The short-circuit current value obtained is in the range of 14 A with a voltage of 0.6 V. It is hoped that this proposed model can be information for the development of DSSC because of its enormous potential application in Indonesia.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang pembuatan komposit serat rami dan resin epoxy sebagai bahan alternatif perisai anti-radiasi sinar-X. Komposit yang dibuat telah dihitung massa jenisnya, uji tekan, dan uji radiasi sinar X menggunakan alat X-Ray Apparatus 554 800 Leybold. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari beberapa variasi massa rami, komposit dengan rami 12gr merupakan komposisi yang paling optimal dalam menahan radiasi sinar-X. Komposit tersebut memiliki massa jenis sebesar 1 gr/cm3 dan kuat tekan dalam sebesar 440 kg/cm2.

Abstract

The ability of Indonesian students to master physics is still low. Based on PISA in 2018, Indonesia ranked at 62th out of 72 participating countries. It was much lower than other Asian countries. Therefore, this problem should be overcome. One of the existing sources of physics literacy is local wisdom. The local wisdom can be used as a direct source of physics studies for students to increase their literacy skills. Therefore, in this paper, the authors discussed some local wisdoms in South Sumatra Province that potentially used as physics literacy objects for students in their school. South Sumatra has many local wisdoms potentially used as real objects in physics studies for students. Some of the local wisdom as otok-otok boat and roasted kemplang can be used as the object of heat transfer studies (thermal), and the traditional houses of Limas and Baghi can be used as media for learning force, mass, load and modulus of elasticity. The objects of literacy studies are sources of study that can be used by teachers in teaching physics. Through local wisdom-based literacy, it is certainly expected to improve Indonesia's PISA ranking. Not only to improve PISA ranking, but it is also increase the superiority of the nation's future generations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh project based learning (PjBL) berbasis science technology engineering and mathematics (STEM) terhadap kemampuan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan pre-experiment dengan jenis one-group pretest-postest design. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelompok (kelas) dengan teknik pengambilan sample random (acak). Kelas yang digunakan, yaitu kelas X MIPA 4 di SMA N 1 Yogyakata.  Responden penelitian sebanyak 36 peserta didik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil tes awal dan tes akhir. Semua indikator keterampilan proses sains yang diukur juga mengalami peningkatan. Peningkatan yang terjadi termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Hasil analisis uji-t one group pretest and posttest menunjukkan bahwa model PjBL terintegrasi STEM mempengaruhi keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil angket tanggapan peserta didik terhadap penerapan PjBL berbasis STEM secara keseluruhan sebesar 78,21%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model PjBL terintegrasi STEM dalam pembelajaran fisika memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik.

Abstract

Hamiltonian a known system in many matters does not guarantee that the equation can be resolved, e.g. due to minor disturbances such as electric fields or magnetic fields that can lead to slight changes in energy and its particle functions, for such issues it should be used disorder theory (perturbation theory). The perturbation theory can determine how much the result of the presence of disruption to energy levels and Eigen's functions. The energy possessed by particles in addition to being influenced by quantum numbers (nx, ny and nz) and the size of the potential box are also influenced by interference in the form of magnetic energy produced due to the motion of particles (electrons) in the core intrinsic magnetic field (proton) which affects the energy value does not appear due to the value of this magnetic energy disorder is very small, while for interference that is an extrinsic magnetic energy has shown a 10 (Tesla). The wider the size of the box then the energy that the particles have is smaller so that the energy level and the particle energy spectrum in the potential box will appear continuous. It can be concluded that the particle energy level relies on the length of the potential box, the quantum number of particles, and also the interference that particles have.

Abstract

Telah berhasil diciptakan alat monitoring denyut jantung, saturasi oksigen (SpO2) dalam darah, dan suhu tubuh penderita COVID-19 berbasis IoT. Alat ini berupa gelang yang mana terdiri dari beberapa alat penting, yaitu NodeMCU ESP8266, TCA9548A, lcd oled 128 x 64 pixel, sensor AD8232, sensor MAX30100, dan sensorMPU6050. Alat ini ditujukan untuk penanganan penderita COVID-19 di Indonesia khususnya pasien rawat inap yang berada di rumah sakit darurat ataupun rumah sakit rujukan COVID-19. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode perbandingan, yaitu dengan membandingkan hasil ukur alat yang dibuat dengan alat ukur yang telah ada, seperti oximeter dan thermometer klinis. Hasil ukur denyut jantung menunjukan error yang besar, yaitu sebesar  4,12%, sedangkan hasil ukur saturasi oksigen dan suhu tubuh memiliki error relatif kecil, yaitu sebesar 1,27% dan 0,35%. Hasil pengukuran dapat dilihat pada website Thingspeak.com dalam bentuk grafik. Pengiriman data  dengan kecepatan internet 1,27 Mbps alat berhasil mengirimkan 16 dari 220 data dengan jeda 16-60 detik. Peletakan sensor denyut jantung yang tidak tepat memberikan error yang cukup besar.
