Abstract

The Schrödinger equation for q-deformed modified Eckart potential was investigated in the presence of minimal length formalism using the approximate new wave function and q-deformed potential. It was reduced to Schrödinger  equation with modified Poschl-Teller potential. This equation was solved using Asymptotic Iteration Method (AIM) to get the energy eigenvalues equation and wave functions. The wave function was used to determined the Rényi entropy of quantum system. Then, the Rényi entropy was used to determine the mass energy parameter, temperature and heat capacity of the black hole for some diatomic molecules. The energy spectra showed that the increase of radial and angular quantum number, potential width, minimal length parameter, and the molecule mass caused the decrease of energy eigenvalues. The radial quantum number and the  parameter had the most effect to the wave functions, the number of waves, and the wavelength. The potential width, radial quantum number, and entropy parameter had the most effect on Rényi entropy, mass energy parameter, temperature and heat capacity of Schwarzschild black hole. The increase of quantum number caused the decrease of Renyi entropy, mass energy parameter, temperature and heat capacity of Schwarzchild black hole, but the increase of d caused the increase of Renyi entropy, mass energy parameter, temperature and heat capacity of Schwarzchild black hole.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of developing potential energy teaching aids based on the Arduino Uno microcontroller based on the assessment of media experts and material experts, the accuracy of the tool, as well as knowing the improvement of student achievement. The Arduino Uno microcontroller was developed with the help of ultrasonic sensors and load cell sensors. Student achievement in this study includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The model used in this study is the ADDIE model which consists of 4 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the validation of the Arduino Uno microcontroller-based physics learning teaching aids by two media experts obtained an average score of 95% in the "very feasible" category and by two material expert validators obtained an average percentage of 95.3% with the "very good" category. feasible”, Accuracy of teaching aids physics based on Arduino Uno microcontroller. For the level of confidence in the measurement, the results obtained are 99.14% with an accuracy level of 0.86%. the average increase in student achievement in the cognitive domain is 14.8%, the affective domain is 8%, and the psychomotor domain is 18.3%. Thus, potential energy props based on the Arduino Uno microcontroller are feasible to be used as learning media in schools and are able to improve student achievement.

Abstract

Contextual problems in daily life are related closely with scientific problem solving skills. It is necessary to prepared when students study science comprehensively. The aim of this study was analyzing students’ scientific problem solving skills during the learning process bysimulation of PhET located in 3T region. The outermost area in the territory of Indonesia is referred as 3T region. There are three conditional aspects of 3T region; terdepan (frontier), terpencil (remote), and tertinggal (disadvantaged). A number of 122 regions in Indonesia are included in the 3T region, one of which is Nimboran, Papua. SMAN 1 Nimboran, Papua  Indonesia, was chosen as research subject. We comprehended the analysis by using descriptive qualitative method. Participants were 51 students chosen from purposive random sampling technique above all students in XI-IPA grade of SMAN 1 Nimboran. Data collecting was done through triangulation using interview, observation, and documentation (test). The research was conducted during the second term. The obtained results were as follows: students can define the problem (10.20%), students can explore the problem (3.27%), students can plan the solution (10.98%), students can implement the plan (6.54%), students can check the solution (1.70%), and students can evaluate the data (4.44%). The mean result was 38.46. It was interpreted that showed students’ scientific problem solving skills in SMAN 1 Nimboran was low. Thus, the need to improve the skills is demanded.

Abstract

Different activities of a river area, can caused differences in density and hydrostatic pressure of the fluid contained in rivers in different places. This study aims to analyze the relationship between density and hydrostatic pressure fluid of 5 rivers that cross Jakarta and empties into Jakarta Bay. Laboratory testing is carried out using the Center of Pressure tool. The data obtained after the test are mass, weight, moment, and Perspex water level. The data were analyzed using the appropriate formula to obtain the density of water from 5 research locations. Then continued the analysis of the hydrostatic pressure at the research site. The results obtained indicate that the hydrostatic pressure is directly proportional to the density of the liquid. Like the hydrostatic pressure in Sunter drain, the highest hydrostatic pressure among the others is 10389.24 N/m2, with the highest density of water also being 1060.13 kg/m3.Keywords : River; fluid; center of pressure ; Density; Hydrostatics pressure.

Abstract

Central Java is one of the provinces in Indonesia with a fairly high level of seismicity. During January 2021 alone there were 22 tectonic earthquakes, one of which occurred in Banyumas (M.5). With this fairly high seismicity, it is necessary to reduce its impact through mitigation. One of the efforts that can be done is to map the level of risk of damage. This mapping can be made based on the Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) value combined with the Population Density (PD) and Human Development Index (HDI) values. Two methods were used to calculate PGA based on the 1970-2020 earthquake data, namely the Crouse (1991) and Donovan (1973) methods. The results of the calculation using the Crouse method obtained the highest PGA value of 92–180 gal (VI-VII MMI) and the Donovan method obtained the value of 92-107 gal (VI MMI). From this PGA value combined with the PD and HDI values in each district in Central Java, a map of the level of risk of damage caused by the earthquake is made. The results of the mapping show that the districts of Klaten, Cilacap, Kebumen, Banyumas, Brebes, Magelang, Demak and Semarang have a fairly high risk of damage.
