Abstract

Information on electron behavior in a hydrogen atom, such as electron expectation, electron probability, electron position, electron energy spectrum, etc. can be obtained through Schrodinger equation.ions are  atoms that lose   so that they become hydrogenic atoms. This research aims to determine the expectation value of electron momentum of ion in momentum space at the main quantum number  using Schrodinger equation approach. The method used in this research is literature study with non-experimental research type. The results obtained expectation value depends on the interval and the value of the quantum number. The larger the interval, the expectation value of electron momentum increases. While the greater the value of quantum numbers, the expectation value of electron momentum is getting smaller. Based on the analysis, the expectation value of electron momentum is quite varied from to . From this research, it is found that the expectation value of electron momentum is the same as the expectation value of electron position.

Abstract

This study aims to produce vibration and wave teaching materials in electronic modules based on the STEM approach. This study uses research and development methods with a 4D development model. The research subjects were all Physics Education study program students who took vibration and wave courses. Data collection tools include validation sheets (materials and media), response questionnaires to measure the practicality of the module, and tests to measure the module's effectiveness. The data analysis technique uses proportions with predetermined criteria and practicality. The effect size equation is used to measure the module's effectiveness. The results showed that (1) the e-module was feasible to use according to the expert with an average value of 3.77 material and media validation results and 3.86 very valid categories; (2) the practicality of the e-module with a very practical category is 76.75% and (3) the effectiveness of the e-module in increasing the HOTS of students with the criteria is very effective.

Abstract

Indonesia is a plural country with a diverse population and culture. Cultural diversity in Indonesia can be an important capital for the progress of the nation. One of them is the unique culture in Pacitan in the form of stones that can sound like the gamelan in Tabuhan Cave. Tabuhan Cave is a karst cave located at the western end of Pacitan and is included in 33 UNESCO sites. The purpose of this research is to analyze the physics concept of sound waves on the stone of Tabuhan Cave. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data analysis techniques in the form of content analysis. The results of the analysis obtained are the physics of sound waves in the Tabuhan Cave rock caused by the rock structure and environmental conditions. The sound of the Tabuhan Cave stones has a frequency ranging from 900-1000 Hz and the sound intensity level is around -40 to -100 dB which is measured at different distances. The greater the distance, the smaller the frequency and intensity of the sounds of the Tabuhan Cave stones. So it can be concluded that there is a physics concept of sound waves on the Tabuhan Cave stone which is influenced by the characteristics of the stone, the position of the stone, the hitting point, and the distance used. The greater the distance from the Tabuhan Cave stone, the smaller the sound will be heard with the frequency and intensity that is increasingly small too.

Abstract

Physics props are a vital component in helping students understand the various concept of physics. Unfortunately, not all schools—especially rural ones—have access to these props, as they are usually expensive and come with a not-easy-to-understand manual book. This study aims to build parabolic motion props using simple, cheap, and easy-to-find materials. Teachers and students can “shoot” any small objects with these props, take necessary data, analyze them analytically and experimentally using Tracker software, and prove the parabolic motion they usually only find on chalkboards. Several tests were carried out to test the applicability of these props and show that they can be used to demonstrate the parabolic motion of small objects and determine their initial velocities with errors of 1.41%, 1.35%, and 4.2% for ejection angle of 30°, 45°, and 60°, respectively. The test results were also validated by comparing them to the gravity acceleration constant, resulting in errors ranging from 3.40 – 4.83%. These results concluded that teachers could build the same props in their classrooms to enhance students’ participation and understanding in learning parabolic motion.

Abstract

Creative Thinking Skill is one of the abilities that must be mastered by students. Based on research 7 Junior High School in Ponorogo Regency, it was found that the Creative Thinking Skill indicators was on average 33,5% in the less category. Creative Thinking skill can be measured by tests or non-tests. This study aims to develop STEAM based Creative Thinking Skill tests instrument integrated with Local Wisdom that is valid acording to experts and reliable. The development prosedure used the ADDIE model. The research design used a pre-experiment. Data analysis was using a decriptive quantitative approach in the form of N-gain. Aiken index to analyze the validity of instrument. The result test instruments has a validity of 0,88 with a valid category. The reability of the test was 0,81 and the difficulty level of the questions was 4 items in the easy category and 3 items in the medium category. The significance of the correlation of 3 questions is very significant level and 4 questions are significant level. The integration of Local Wisdom to instrument is expected be able to develop student’s Creative Thinking Skill as to give birth various ideas and progress of the Pancungan Pottery Industry.
