Abstract

This study seeks to confine the effect of the work environment relationship on improving employee performance and the impact of performance evaluation on employee performance. The variables of this study consist of the independent variables, namely work environment and performance evaluation, and the dependent variable, namely employee performance. This study uses a method in the form of a quantitative approach, with the data collection tool used as an online questionnaire—a sample of 101 respondents using a non-probability sampling method. Data analysis in this study used Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS v.3.3 software. The study's outcomes reveal that the work environment variable positively affects employee performance. At the same time, performance evaluation does not involve improving employee performance.

The data analysis method used is partial least squares analysis using the SmartPLS version 3.0 tool. The research results show that brand image, service quality, and brand awareness can significantly influence customer loyalty. However, corporate social responsibility is not able to provide a significant influence on customer loyalty. Apart from that, rust is not able to have a significant impact on customer loyalty, which is moderated by customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to identify factors that influence the use of Quick Response Code Indonesia Standard (QRIS) as a payment tool on MSMEs merchants in Pekanbaru City. QRIS has been officialized by Bank Indonesia as a digital payment transaction tool that makes it easier for consumers and merchants to make transactions. In this study, transaction costs and revenue are used as independent variabels, while the use of QRIS as a means of payment becomes dependent variabels. The method used in this research is a quantitative method using a likert scale questionnaire and data converted to an interval scale, respondents in this study amounted to a hundred MSMEs  merchants. Data was then analyzed using double linear regression with the help of SPSS version 24. The results show that simultaneously or partially, transaction cost and revenue factors have a significant influence on the use of QRIS as a digital payment transaction tool in MSMEs merchants in Pekanbaru City. The implication of this study is that the cost of MDR transactions and settlements spent on using QRIS is comparable to the benefits obtained, including increased business revenue. This research could provide a clearer insight for MSMEs in considering the use of QRIS as an effective and efficient means of payment.

Abstract

Stock investment is now an alternative for young people to invest in. In investing in stocks, there are still factors that can hinder investors, namely financial behavior. The purpose of this research is to know and understand the financial factors and the perception of investors' risk on investment decisions in Batam City. This study uses a quantitative approach with primary data in the form of a questionnaire and using purposive sampling. Financial literacy, overconfidence, herding, anchoring, representative, and availability have a significant positive effect on investment decisions. Meanwhile, risk perception and the other six moderating variables don’t have any influence on investors' investment decisions. In investing, investors must understand financial behavior that helps investors in making good decisions and risk perception will make investors afraid of the risks that occur in investing.

Abstract

Several issues have been raised regarding the uneven payment of bills related to BPJS health insurance. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the accountability of BPJS patient billing claims for outpatient services at the Hospital as outpatient income. The flow of BPJS special patient services from reception to settlement of claims is the focus for identifying pending services. Design/Methodology/Approach: this qualitative research uses in-depth interviews with relevant informants. Interviews were conducted with the head manager of the KMKB, the head of the BPJS officer's office and two outpatient coder staff. We also conducted a triangulation test to test the validity of the data. The data from the interviews were then analyzed to explain the findings. Findings: several technical findings are the cause of claims for bad claims, including claims of outpatients and inpatients on the same day and date, incomplete medical resumes filled out by the doctor in charge of the patient, patients who are referred back but the time period has expired, network problems when accessing INA CBG's, and delays in settlement of claims so that the BPJS claim period expires. Originality/Values: This research offers unique insight into health services related to BPJS patient claims services by explaining how to understand them and anticipate pending claims or claims that cannot be disbursed through the results of qualitative research using an in-depth interview approach.

Abstract

One sector that is experiencing changes in the current digital era is the financial sector, where payment transactions are starting to be carried out through digital systems, some of which use the QRIS system. Payment transactions via QRIS can speed up transactions and reduce operational costs, especially for commercial players. However, the use of QRIS has clearly given rise to what is called digital crime, which can harm users (QRIS consumers) by destroying the QR code and "undoing" the actions carried out by the perpetrator. This research uses qualitative research with data collection techniques through library research which is analyzed qualitatively. The results of the first research concluded that legal protection for QRIS users based on current regulations includes PJSP having valid legal status, PJSP must create a financial innovation ecosystem with good digital credentials in the financial services sector and be registered with the Financial Services Authority. OJK and QRIS users (consumers) enjoy rights based on the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law and the ITE Law. Second, the legal consequences of misusing consumer data in digital transactions using QRIS make the perpetrator liable for professional misconduct. For losses incurred, QRIS users can file a civil lawsuit or compensation through PJSP, as stipulated in Article 12, paragraph 1, Law no. 27, 2022 on personal data protection.
