Abstract

This research aims to reveal the basis of the ẖalaqah practice in the Pesantren al-Islam Lamongan, the implementation of the learning and formation of character through ẖalaqah, and the way the system may build Islamic personality. The method used in this reseach was qualitative. The results of this research are as follows. Firstly, the ẖalaqah practiced in the pesantren al-Islam was based on the ideas presented by the kyais and the management  as formulized in the khiththah  of the pesantren namely to have a ­rabbani generation with faith and sincerity, good morals, high spirituality, wide knowledge insights, healthy and strong physical condition, and readiness to make some propaganda about Islam. Secondly, the implementation of ẖalaqah in Pesantren al-Islam may be classified into two categories.  (1) ẖalaqah taklim, intended to give some insights to the santries on the right aqidah and the  correct worship. The employed techniques of the halaqah implementation were bandongan, sorogan  or the combination of the two. (2) ẖalaqah tarbiyah, intended to build santries to become muslims with noble morals and with some awareness and spirits of teaching  and of struggling Islam. The technique of the ẖalaqah implementation is to give materials of tazkiyat al-nafs accompanied with 'amaliah ibadah sunnah, and teaching and harakah materials and also guidance in reciting the Holy Qur'an and in guiding the characters.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to find out and describe children's education in the family in terms of al-Qur'an, letter Luqman verse 12-19 study of al-Azhar interpretation. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques in this study use library research methods. While data analysis techniques are used with the tahlili method and content analysis method. The results of the study show that the main points of children's education in the family are contained in the verses of the Luqman verse 12-19 as follows: 1). Aqidah education is the command to purify monotheism to Allah SWT, 2). The worship education is the command to uphold five times prayer in congregation and sunnah prayer, 3). Muamalah education is doing good and preventing evil, 4). Moral education includes; give thanks to Allah SWT, devote to parents, be gentle, be patient, charity sincerely because of Allah SWT, be polite, be a noble character, prohibition to be arrogant, prohibition of pride, be good when walking, prohibition of hardening when speaking, and prohibition on rebuking. Keywords: Child, family education, Q.S. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to find out how the application of character education through the teaching strategy of the teacher of Islamic education at SMP Manarul Quran Paciran Lamongan, and what factors support and inhibit the implementation of character education through teaching strategies of the teacher of Islamic education at SMP Manarul Quran Paciran Lamongan. This research method can be described: This type of research is qualitative, the object of research is the principal, vice principal, several teachers of Islamic education, and of course students; Data collection methods: observation, interview, and documentation, were analyzing the data using qualitative descriptive. The findings of this study can be concluded: First: The process of learning Islamic education at SMP Manarul Quran Paciran Lamongan runs in accordance with existing procedures, meaning that teachers can apply character education using existing methods and facilities. The strategy is realized through contextual learning with class-based assessments accompanied by remedial and enrichment programs. Strategy for implementing character education at SMP Manarul Quran Paciran Lamongan through learning activities, school culture development and learning activities center; Second: a) The inhibiting factors include: limited time available, use of methods that are acceptable to students, lack of part of student interest, lack of balance between school environment, and lack of creativity of some teachers in the use of learning methods; b) Supporting factors include: the teacher uses methods that can be accepted by students, the facilities and infrastructure that support learning, the holding of guidance for all teachers with the aim that teachers can apply learning tools. Keywords: Character education, learning process, application

Abstract

Character education is a process of transformation of life values to be developed in the personality of a person or student so it becomes one in the person's life behavior. Character education is not only about teaching what is right and what is wrong, more than that character education inculcate habits about good so students become the wrong idea which one is right, and able to feel good value so students will be able to do good things. This study is aimed to teach the characters values and analyze the obstacles and supporting factors of the character education of students through Islamic Education learning in SMP PGRI I Bojonegoro. Qualitative research method is used in this study, a research method that does not use the count (statistics) but through data collection, analysis and then interpretation. The qualitative descriptive research attempts to describe the situation or events, does not seek or explain the relationship but describes the situation. The research results show that the values taught to students of SMP PGRI 1 Bojonegoro are religious, honesty, democratic, social interest, environmental interest, discipline. The supporting factors of the implementation of character education are the availability of facilities, and proper classroom infrastructure, good student learning interests, comfortable class atmosphere, and clean classroom. Keywords: Character Education, Islamic Education Subject

Abstract

his reseach aimed to determine the pattern of development of islamic education. The method used in this reseach was qualitative. The results of this research, the period before Indonesia's independence there are different patterns of development of Islamic education, namely: (1) isolatif-traditional, in the sense of not willing to accept anything that smells Western (colonial) and the inhibition effect of modern thinking in Islam to enter into it, as was evident at the boarding school education featuring only traditional religious sciences of Islam and common knowledge is not at all given. The essence of Islamic education is an effort to conserve and maintain the treasures of earlier scholars thought as expressed in their books. The main purpose of education is to prepare prospective chaplain or clergy only controlled religious issues alone. (2)Synthesis, which brings the livery (Islamic boarding school) and the new style (colonial or Western education model) tangible schools or Madrasah. In reality, patterns of thought this synthesis contain some variation of the pattern of development of Islamic education. (3) Various models and patterns of development of Islamic education are essentially intends to develop teachings and fundamental values contained in the Quran and al-Sunnah. It's just that they have a different perspective to understand and describe the nature of Islamic education and science. Abstract

Abstract: Students’ competence is a skill that must be possessed/achieved by students after learning Al-Qur'an as a guide for those who are cautious, who have provided a lot of inspiration related to the concept of education, especially in the letter Al-Alaq verse 1-5. So the purpose of this study is to find out the content of the letter al-Alaq verse 1-5, to know the students’ competence concept of 21st century in the law of the national education system article no. 20 of 2003, and know what are the students’ competence on 21st century contained in the letter Al-Alaq verse 1-5. This study is a library study (library research) which is qualitative descriptive, which uses documentation and study literature techniques in data collection. While the data analysis method used is the Tahlily interpretation method. The results of this study that: First, the content of this letter is the command to read which is not only limited to the command of reading but also to study, describe, analyze, so that new knowledge arises such as: jurisprudence, Tauhid or Islamic theology, morality, and others. Secondly, as for the relevance of the letter Al-Alaq verse 1 - 5 with the National Education System Law, there is a correspondence with regard to student competencies, namely: critical thinking competencies and problem solving, collaboration, communication, and creativity. Abstract

This study  aimed to identify: (1) the validity of the developed contextual learning based textbook (2) practicality of the developed contextual learning based textbook (3) effectiveness of the developed contextual learning based textbook to improve students’ critical and creative thinking ability. This study used developement research design by adopting ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This study consisted of  three stages: introduction, developement, and test of effetiveness. The validity result of textbook from 36 expert’s assessment items showed that  22 items were very suitable and 14 items were suitable. The textbook practicality was seen from checklist points achievement for contextual learning based textbook. The result of gain score analysis of students 'critical thinking ability was 0.769 or categorized as high, meaning that the use of contextual learning based textbook was effective to improve students' critical thinking ability. The result of gain score analysis of students 'creative thinking ability was 0.775 or categorized as high, meaning that the use of contextual learning based textbook was effective to improve students' creative thinking ability. Keywords: Textbook, Contextual learning, Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking.

Abstract

This study aims to know about the competence of teachers, and what the concept of the Qur'an about the competence of teachers in Surat Al-Qalam Verses 1 - 4. This research is a library review (library research) which is qualitative descriptive, using documentation techniques in data collection. While the method of data analysis used is the tafsir maudlu'iy method. The results show that: Firstly, the qualities that an educator must have are (a) zuhud not putting matter and teaching because of seeking God's mercy; (b) to cleanse his body, away from sin and guilt, to escape from great sin, ridicity, envy, hostility, strife and other disgraceful nature; (c) Ikhlas in the work; (d) forgiving; (e) loving his disciples just as he loved his own son; (f) knowing the student's nature; (g) mastering subjects; (h) have competence in the ways of teaching. Second, the competence that must be owned by the teacher according to the Qur'an letter Al-Qalam verses 1-4 is to have the personality as exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad SAW, master and utilize information technology and communications for self-development and science and have the ability paper for the development of science and communication media with others.Keywords: Competence of teachers, Concepts of the Qur'an, Tafseer of al-Alaq

Abstract

Abstract: This study is to determine the effect of principal leadership, teacher teaching performance on student achievement. The method used in this study was quantitative statistics. To get good and correct data, researcher used structured questionnaires and documentation. After the data was collected, it was analyzed using the product moment correlation formula, then continued by using multiple correlation formula, after that, it was proceeded bythe percent formula. To make easier to calculate and conclude, the researcher complements the pedestrian table, helper table and formulas of Fcalculation and F table. The findings of this study can be concluded: first, the principal leadership and the teacher performance could be said to have an influence / positive with a statistical value of 30.08, Second, from the result of statistical analysis using Two Paths with manual calculation it can be calculated as 12.22 and a significance of 5,93, 100% = 56.25%. This means that the contribution  of teacher performance on the learning achievement of the eighth grade students of junior high school (SMP) Al-Khairiyah Surabaya that if it is presented in percentage reaching 56.25%. Keywords: Leadership, Performance, Achievement

Abstract

This study aims to explore how the role of shalihah (pious) women in turning out rabbani generation in a family environment. The study was a qualitative research with library study type by using the method of documentation and observation. The results of this study were concluded: First: There are two characteristics divisions of shalihah women namely: to obey Allah and to obey the husband. Second, the tips in turning out rabbani generation are among: Get used children to do good things, Lead children to the personality of Rasululloh SAW as a role model, Perform Good Exemplary, Pray for the children and Do not curse them, Fill their spare time with useful things, Look for the right time to give instructions, Tell the stories to install the values and virtues for the children. Third, the role of shalihah (pious) women in turning rabbani generation in the family is: women as servants of God, women as mothers and women as role models in their communities. Keywords: Shalihah Women, Rabbani Generation, Family Environment
