Abstract

Natural resources are an asset for life that is very valuable and must be managed properly in order to membeikan good life. This study is based on frequent occurrence of dead water and consumer complaints that are less responded by managers. This study aims to determine the effect of price and service quality on user satisfaction of clean water users from the community of Batam Community Health Center. The object of this research is water users. The purpose of research to determine whether there is partial and simultaneous influence between independent variables tehadap dependent variable. Sampling technique using non-probability sampling method, the number of research samples as much as 111 respondents. Technical analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of research on the results of t test, t arithmetic for price and service quality is greater than t table, it can be concluded there are some positive influence and significant price on customer satisfaction, there is a positive and significant effect of service quality customer satisfaction. F test results are larger F table. Then it can be concluded that the variables price and service quality simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on.

Abstract

This research is to purpose the small retail distribution who have always worked to establish close relationship with customer throught the Retail Marketing mix. Thus the literature has a long tradition of testing the effect of various instrument on Retail Patronage. This Meta-Study synthesis prior research into one comprehensive frame work. We use 120 responden which evaluate from 4 district extracted from 250 shopper to test the impact of 24 marketing mix instrument on retail patronage. Specifically, we investigate the direct and indirect effect in marketing mix of these instrument display to observe strongest effect of most outcome variable whereas price, communication service, WOM, hedonic behaviour, retail environment and other especially in Batam. To resolve the problem in the research we used Structure Equation Model (SEM) with Covarian basic approach.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to know the partial influence (T test) and simultaneously (F test) between brand image variable and service quality to customer satisfaction PT Pegadaian (Persero) Batam. The research method used in this research is descriptive research method with quantitative approach Data collection techniques were done by distributing questionnaires to each respondent as much as 294 respondents. The results showed that the value of R Square of 0,135 or 13,5% of the value can be known the brand image and service quality affect the customer satisfaction of 13,5% while the rest is 86,5% influenced by other factors not examined. The result of research based on t test for brand image has value equal to 6,080 > 1,968 (t table) and significant value 0,000 <0,05 meaning that variable of brand image have significant effect to customer satisfaction, while service quality has value of 2,281 > 1,968 (t table) and significant value 0,023<0,05 meaning service quality variable have significant effect to customer satisfaction. And the result of F test has value equal to 22,670>3,03 (F table) and significant value 0,000 <0,05 can be interpreted that variable brand image and service quality simultaneously have significant effect toeffect to customer satisfaction.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Bank an a financial institution that its role in supporting economic development in an area, which raised funds activities and disbursing funds in the form of loans or credit is a form of that money circulates to stabilize the economy. The purpose of this study was to conduct analysis of the banking healthy level on Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) in Batam City, for 2012-2016 periods. This research uses descriptive quantitative research design. The report data were extracted from bank’s financial from financial report which had been published by Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). The assessment analysis of banking healthy level has been carried out by using CAMEL method (Capital, Asset, Management, Earning, and Liquidity) which is based on the decree of BI director No.30/12/KEP/DIR on April 30th, 1997. The results showed that the healthy level of Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) in Batam City for 2012-2016 periods showed categorized healthy, where the value – average CAR ratio of 13.68%, KAP ratio of 1.76%, NPM ratio of 16.51%, ROA ratio of 3.86%, BOPO ratio 78.01%, and LDR ratio of 87.05%. Expected for the future later BPR could continue to keep even better, so the level of health can be guaranteed according to applicable regulations.

Abstract

This Research Aims To Uncover The Influence Of Leadership Style, Work Motivation And Work Discipline Of Employee Performance. The population of this study are all employees At PT.Bank Regional Development (BPD) West Sumatra Branch Painan which amounted to 45 people. Samples were taken from all populations of 45 people. The analysis method uses multiple regression analysis. The results obtained: Multiple effect of variable X together to variable Y at PT.Bank Regional Development (BPD) West Sumatera Painan Branch is equal to 0,573 or 57,3% with Sig. F at 0.000 <0,05 or Fthitung nilat bigger than F table that is 26,445> 3,34, hence can be said that leadership style (X1) work motivation (X2) and work discipline (X3) have positive and significant influence to Performance employees of PT.Bank Regional Development (BPD) West Sumatera Painan Branch. Partially, leadership style have positive and significant influence to employees performance of PT.Bank Regional Development (BPD) West Sumatera Painan Branch where t arithmetic variable of leadership style bigger than t table (t count 2,713> t table 1,9883) or its significance is smaller than alpha (0,010 <0,05). Partial of work motivation have positive and significant effect to employee performance of PT.Bank Regional Development (BPD) West Sumatera Painan Branch where t arithmetic variable of work motivation bigger than t table (titung 2,181> t table 1 , 9883) or its significance is less than alpha (0.035 <0.05). Partially work discipline has a positive and significant effect to the performance of employees of PT.Bank Regional Development (BPD) West Sumatera Painan Branch where t arithmetic variable work discipline is greater than t table (t count 4,636> t table 1,9883) or siginifikansinya smaller than alpha (0,000 <0.05), and the regression equation for these three variables is Ŷ = 26.445 + 0.299 X1 + 0.220X2. + 0.409 X3.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were 1) to analyze the influence of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior. 2) To analyze the influence of perceived organizational support on organizational citizenship behavior. 3) To analyze the the influence of spiritual leadership on organizational citizenship behavior. The population in this study were employees of PT MNC Sky Vision TBK, with the number of 40 people. Data analysis used are validity, reliability testing, regression, t test and the coefficient of determination. The results of the study showed that: (1) job satisfaction has positive and significant effects on organizational citizenship behavior (2) perceived organizational support has positive and significant effects to organizational citizenship behavior (3) spiritual leadership has positive and significant effects on organizational citizenship behavior (4) simultaneously all variables are affecting organizational citizenship behavior positively and significantly.

Abstract

Online shopping business method has been implemented by most businesses since the advancement of technology. Therefore, this research is conducted to recognize the market profile of Toko Buku Bina Usaha and to identify whether there is a market opportunity to implement online shopping on Toko Buku Bina Usaha or not. The methodology used in this research is quantitative inferential statistic method involving 132 respondents which are selected by convenience sampling method. The data collection methods of this research are interview, questionnaire, observation, IT interview and library research. Based on the finding, it can be concluded that there is market opportunity to apply online shopping method (online website) on Toko Buku Bina Usaha as part of its marketing strategy

Abstract

This research aims to find out how big the influence of educational level, job skills, Work Attitudes and Employee Performance Against PDAM Padang city. This research consists of three Independent Variables, namely educational level, job skills, and Work attitude of the dependent Variable and one Employee Performance. Methods of analysis used was Multiple regression Analysis. Method of data collection in this research is to use the Questionnaires filled by respondents are PDAM employees Padang City.The results of the regression analysis in this research indicate that: 1) level of education a positive and significant effect on performance of employees, 2). Job skills and significant positive effect on performance of employees, 3) Employee Attitude. a positive and significant effect on performance of employees, 4). The level of education, job skills, and a working Attitude together positive and significant effect on performance of employees. the coefficient of determination shows the value of 0.775 this case showed that the level of education, job skills and work attitudes contribute to affect the performance of the employees of 77.5% and the remaining 22.5% influenced other variable not examined.

Abstract

In recent years, foreign branding strategy are used by many business people from Indonesia whereas the products are produced in Indonesia. This strategy has purpose to affect dimensions of brand image and brand equity. The purpose of this study is to see is there any effects and how big foreign branding effects on brand image of Puyo Silky Dessert in Bandung. This research will use descriptive and quantitative methods with descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. In this study, the primary data obtained using questionnaires and using non probability sampling technique with total sample of 270 respondent who knows about the brand both consumers or prospective consumers. The final result shows that foreign branding that used by Puyo Silky Dessert has 51% significant effect on brand image.

Abstract

The era of globalization requires companies to be able to create competitive advantages. Competitive advantages can be created through knowledge management within the company, which will later produce competent employees. Based on the preliminary study, employees of PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Yogyakarta still needs to improve its competence. This study aims to determine the effect of knowledge management dimensions on competencies at PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Yogyakarta. This study uses quantitative methods, with respondents all employees of PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Yogyakarta, amounting to 78 employees. The analysis technique in this study is path analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the knowledge management dimension simultaneously had a significant effect on employee competencies. Based on the partial influence of the dimensions of knowledge management, knowledge sharing & dissemination and knowledge acquisition & application are dimensions that have a significant influence on employee competencies.
