Abstract

Many companies make Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs only for marketing purposes. Moreover, the implementation of CSR programs by the cigarettes industry cannot overcome the effects that occur due to the business they do. Rather than doing something to prevent the after-effect, the cigarettes industry spend billions for marketing and sponsor purposes. This study aims to determine the effect of CSR programs as measured by the Global Reporting Initiative G4 (GRI-G4) CSR Disclosure Index (CSRDI) on company values measured using Economic Value Added (EVA) and Market Value Added (MVA). The object of this study is Tobacco Industry companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2012-2016 which was selected by purposive sampling method with criteria of each company to consistently publish annual reports on audit results for the period 2012-2016. Data analysis was performed using regression analysis of panel data. The results of this study are that CSR has a non-significant negative effect on EVA and CSR has a non-significant negative effect on MVA

Abstract

The Real Working Lecture (KKN) is a vehicle for the application and development of science and technology, which is conducted outside campus in time, working mechanism, and certain requirements. KKN implemented by the university is an effort to improve the content and weight of education for students and to gain greater added value in higher education. With the implementation of KKN is expected to develop social competence and student personality competence. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of Real Work Lecture as part of the development of student competence. Populations and samples in this study students participating KKN and community location student KKN implementation. Data collection methods used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Interview method aims to dig information about student's social competence and student's personality competence felt by society during KKN take place. From the research results obtained that the role of KKN as part of the development of student competence, especially social competence and personality competence is very clear found in the location of research.

Abstract

The implementation of electronic identity cards have been applied since 2011. However, there are still many complaints from citizens where are showed up through social media and other conventional medias. This study aims to elaborate problems on the electronic identity cards services by public officials in the City of West Jakarta. This study finds that hardware and software problems are the main problems on this case which are not solve by the authority of the Population and Civil Registration Agency in West Jakarta. However, it can be resolved with the above authority in provincial and national levels. Another problems arise that the front offices of authority are not orderly able to control and make the queue line setting comfort for costumers; there is not sufficient information about procedural and mechanism for having electronic identity cards services in that office. Another relevant problems that have been resolved by Provincial Government of Jakarta are lacking of human resources such as civil officers in each agency. The City provides individual outsourcing and contract based employers with educational requirement minimum from graduated high school and certified on computer training. Therefore, the Agency provides a qualified of human resources and implements of electronic identity card services for 56 villages in West Jakarta with good and smooth activities. However, the quality of services is still not well-performed.

Abstract

Honda is one of the companies that issued a lot of vehicle products, one of which was Honda Beat. This study discusses how much influence the quality of the product has on the purchase decision of the matic Honda beat motorbike at the Honda Beat Community in Purwakarta. The reason the author adopted this title as research material was due to the phenomenon of Honda beat motorbike users who continued to be in the number one position of Honda motorcycle sales. The methodology used in this research was descriptive and verification method with a quantitative approach. The purpose of this research is to find out the description and measure how much influence the quality of the product on the purchase decisions of Honda Beat motorcycles.

Abstract

The metal industry has weakened because of the increased price due to rising gas prices, causing increased costs which affected the profits' decrease. Even the World Bank predicts that gas prices will keep rising from 2017 to 2030. This study aims to explore the potential bankruptcy of other metal and mineral sub-sector companies listed on the IDX in 2012-2016 using the Springate, Zmijewski, and Grover models and to find out the accuracy of those models. There are 8 samples used in this study. The results of this study shows that there are 2 companies predicted to be healthy and 6 companies to go bankrupt based on the Springate model. The Zmijewksi and Grover models predicted that 8 companies are not potentially bankrupt. Zmijewski and Grover are the most accurate models in predicting the bankruptcy of the companies because they have a 100% accuracy rate, whereas Springate rate is 75%.

Abstract

The development of the internet continues to increase, with the increasing number of internet users making businessmen easier in selling their products through online, where the businessmen as the of e-commerce businessmen wants an online market place that is easy to use and can be trusted in transacting and selling through online, thus the e-commerce businessmen continues to increase supported by a lot of online trading sites that have already exist in Indonesia. Bukalapak is one of the choices for businessmen to sell and has already had a large number of sellers, that is because of the factors from the characteristics of Bukalapak itself that make the businessmen decide to sell in Bukalapak. This research aims to know the easy factor and trust factor as the determining of businessmen to sell through Bukalapak online sale site. The method used is survey technique with descriptive quantitative approach, where the data obtained from the distribution of online questionnaires by a hundred sellers in Bukalapak as respondents selected. Data analysis use tabulated data presented in the form of percentage graph then it is analyzed descriptively. The result of research show that most of the businessmen selling in Bukalapak agree that the easy factor and trust factor are determining businessmen sell through Bukalapak online sale site. Abstract

There are several factors that affect systematic risk such as inflation, exchange rates, interest rates, this is because changes that occur in these factors can result in changes in the capital market, namely the increase or decrease in stock prices. Volatility of stock prices in the capital market can potentially increase or decrease systematic risk. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of interest rates, and exchange rates, on the financial sector stock price index. The method used in this study is using multiple linear regression. Based on the background, theoretical basis, data analysis and the results of hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that the SBI interest rate has a positive but not significant effect on stock prices and the exchange rate has a negative and not significant effect on profitability

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of social media marketing on brand equity Jenius. This study uses independent variables is social media marketing and dependent variable is brand equity. This study uses a quantitative method with a type of quasi-experimental research. In this study the authors determined the sample using probability sampling techniques, with respondents as many as 100 people. The data analysis technique used by the writer is descriptive data analysis, normality test, simple linear regression test, determination coefficient and hypothesis test.Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test, the results show that social media marketing has an influence on Jenius brand equity. This is evidenced by tcount (6,728)> ttable (1,660). Based on the coefficient of determination, it is found that social media marketing has an influence of 31.6% on Jenius brand equity.

Competition is very tight today requires that companies should always look for strategies new sales in order to compete with companies other, one of the activities of a company is sold for profit, to achieve the goal of a company is required in order to introduce and market products sold quickly, but not a lot of resources are wasted. The development of very fast internet technology currently impacting almost kesegala areas of human life, nearly all aspects of human life is influenced by the sale of the Internet is no exception. Their impact on the emergence of internet digital advertising trend by which the owner of the mark began to make digital media as media campaigns and new marketing. digital marketing activity that trends do today is social media to build brand endorsement. Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze what the factors can influence students for choosing a career as a public accountant. Respondents of this study were students majoring in the accounting department in Padang, at private universities and state universities (University Putra Indonesia "YTPK" Padang, Bung Hatta University, Andalas University, and University Negeri Padang). The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents drawn using the formula Slovin. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results are intrinsic values, perceptions of student, and job market considerations has a influence on tendency of students for choosing a career as a Public Accountant. While gender, parental influence, and knowledge of The Law no. 5 of 2011 on public accountants does not have a significant effect.
