Abstract

Banking institutions have influence on economic growth, so it must be ensured that banks are in a healthy condition. Lending that exceeds the maximum lending limit and only focuses on related businesses is the reason for the decline in bank health. This study aims to examine the relationship between asset quality, capital adequacy ratio, and efficiency to the soundness level of a bank. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of financial statements of commercial banks listed on the IDX for 4 years from 2019-2022. The method used for sampling is purposive sampling method with a total population of 47 banks in the banking sector. The resulting sample is 64 data from 16 banks. The data analysis technique used in this study uses multiple linear regression techniques. The results of the regression test show that the capital adequacy ratio has no effect on the soundness of a bank, while asset quality and efficiency have a positive effect on the soundness of a bank.

Abstract

PT Dapur Boga Lestari is a company that produces noodles and is located in Sidoarjo, East Java Province. Flour and eggs are the primary ingredients in the noodles themselves. In meeting its requirements, the business frequently faces numerous obstacles. PT Dapur Boga Lestari lacks a distinct company-wide method for controlling these basic materials. Despite the fact that the company must control the inventory of raw materials for flour and eggs in order to prevent shortages and excesses of raw materials, which incur additional costs for the company, The results of the calculations indicate that the min-max stock method yields a lower total cost than the company method. In each period, the min-max stock method results in a 19% cost reduction for flour raw materials. In terms of egg primary materials, the company saved 29% from April 2023 to February 2024 and 25% from March 2024 to January 2025. This research provides information that assists businesses in identifying investments that will not benefit their production processes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the CEO expertise (with the proxies of educational background and experience) on company performance (with the proxies of return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE), and dividend payout ratio (DPR)). This study employs quantitative method, in which the data are analyzed by multiple linear regression. The samples include companies listed in the LQ45 index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2019 period. The results of the study exhibit that the CEO educational background affects ROA and ROE, except DPR. It is suggested that further studies consider not only educational background and experience but also work relations and gender, and use other performance assessment indicators such as PBV.

Abstract

The city of Padang Panjang has its own potential and uniqueness compared to other cities in West Sumatra. Supported by its beautiful natural potential, the City of Padang Panjang has several tourist attractions with quite good performance, including the Minangkabau Information and Culture Documentation Center (PDIKM), the Minang Fantasi Area (MIFAN). Providing a place to rest requires no small investment costs. This investment is needed to procure the basic infrastructure needed for resting places to be realized and operational. The basic infrastructure needed includes land, access roads, circulation, facilities, and utilities. In addition to investment in basic infrastructure procurement, operational costs are also required, which include costs for general expenditures, personnel expenditures, and maintenance expenditures. In order for the provision and management of rest areas to be sustainable, the planning and management of rest areas must be planned as efficiently and effectively as possible . The method used is qualitative or descriptive with a phenomenological approach with data triangulation. The results obtained are Based on the Cartesian SWOT diagram above, it is known that the lower Silaing rest area is in quadrant I, which means that the development strategy is SO, namely the strategy of using strengths to maximize existing opportunities. This strategy is also known as a growth oriented strategy, which is to support an aggressive growth policy. If you refer to this strategy, the Downtown Silaing Rest Area of Padang Panjang City improves the image of the rest area which makes the rest area get a good image from users.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to bring together the scattered literature on knowledge sharing, and analyze it to provide a better understanding. The review went through three stages: establishing the review protocol, conducting the review, and reporting the review. This research systematically reviews 110 articles in three research streams: (1) drivers of knowledge sharing (2) knowledge sharing processes, and (3) results of knowledge sharing. This research finds that organizations are advised to design knowledge sharing processes in line with their overall business goals, strategies and resources to maximize the benefits of knowledge sharing.

Abstract

Village Credit Institutions or VCIs, function similarly to banks. There are variations in performance measurement, though (health status). The VCIs employ the Bali Province Governor's operational regulations number. 44 of 2017, which accounts for this discrepancy. The VCIs of Bali Province's Badung Regency were one of the VCIs examined. Because Badung Regency VCIs have the highest assets when compared to other VCIs in Bali Province's districts and cities, the goal is to look at their profit growth. The likelihood that VCIs may fail owing to poor management and a lack of public transparency on their state of health does not disappear even with their substantial asset base. This study examines the effect of VCI health on profit growth empirically. The Capital, Asset, Management, Earnings, and Liquidity (CAMEL) examination on profit growth is part of this degree of soundness. Study observation period: 2016–2022. Using a quantitative research approach and secondary data from Empowerment Institutions of Village Credit Institutions (EIVCI) in the Badung Regency, the total population is 854 VCIs. A non-probability sampling strategy combined with a purposive sampling technique was used to determine the sample. This study's analysis method makes use of multiple linear regression. The study's findings indicate that operational expenses have a beneficial impact on profit growth when it comes to operating income, loan-to-deposit ratio, net profit margin, and return on assets. In the meantime, profit growth is negatively impacted by the caliber of producing assets. In the meanwhile, profit growth is unaffected by the capital adequacy ratio and current ratio. The research's practical application is to arm VCIs with knowledge so they can train VCI administrators to manage VCIs. In addition, the availability of profit growth analysis using CAMEL helps boost public trust in the use of VCIs.

Abstract

The majority of Indonesians depend on agriculture as an important sector. PSAK 69 regarding agriculture must be supported by companies engaged in this field because they must have rules for preparing Financial Statements. This study aims to determine the effect of Intellectual Capital and ESG on Financial Performance (Agriculture Sector 2019-2021 Period).  In the context of IC, the dependent variable discussed in this study is symbolized by VAIC in three ways: Value Added Capital Cefficient (VACA), Human Capital Cefficient (VAHU), and Structural Capital Cefficient (STVA). In addition, there is an additional dependent variable, ESG. Financial performance, represented by Return on Asset (ROA), is the independent variable of this study. This study is quantitative. The Indonesia Stock Exchange Annual Report is the source of secondary time series data used in this study. The study will take 36 samples, with 12 companies selected to be sampled for three years. This study uses the explanatory method. This study uses descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression to analyze the data. Only VAHU affects ROA, while the other variables do not. Together, VACA, VAHU, STVA, and ESG have an influence of 60.97% on ROA, and other variables not examined in this study have an influence of 39.03%.
