Abstract

Waste management is an important thing that needs to be resolved. The accumulation of garbage and the not yet managed urban and rural waste are one of the driving factors for this community service. Desa Semanu is one of the villages that already has a TPS-3R in Gunung Kidul Regency but the TPS-3R has not been utilized optimally. This study uses a qualitative method with community empowerment program. Aims for this research is to know the implementation of community empowerment programs. Furthermore, the purpose community service is to make Desa Semanu into a village that cares about waste by taking advantage of the integration of TPS 3R and a waste bank. One of the activities that have been carried out to support a village that cares about waste is by providing counseling about the dangers of burning waste to the environment and health. In addition, there was also counseling on the assistance of the Ahmad Dahlan University Center of Energy and Environmental Studies to make Desa Semanu can make a Waste Care Village. Based on the evaluation that has been carried out, most of the extension participants have increased their knowledge of solid waste knowledge.

Abstract

The spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) affects the life of the world community. In Indonesia, the formation of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) refers to Presidential Decree Number 7 of 2020, dated March 13, 2020. This study aims to determine the pattern of guidance and supervision in undergoing the assimilation process at home during the Covid-19 pandemic and to analyze the obstacles faced when implementing the pattern of mentoring and supervision, as well as what strategies need to be developed to overcome these obstacles. The research method used is a qualitative research method while the data analysis uses qualitative data analysis, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the process of mentoring and supervision that undergoes assimilation at home and integration is in accordance with the implementation of the guidance stipulated in Government Regulation Number 31 of 1999 and has applied and applied the knowledge of the social work profession. Includes Engagement, Intake, Contract, Assessment, Planning, Intervention and Evaluation.

Abstract

Poverty is a common terminology that has rubbed against the live broadcast with the condition of nowadays society. Indonesia as a developing country, has an average population living below the poverty line. The Family Hope Program exists as a conditional cash transfer program which aims to accelerate poverty reduction. Where The Family Hope Program seeks to eradicate poverty with various programs in it and focus on the fields of education and health. The implementation of The Family Hope Program in Karangasem Village has been running for almost 13 years after the Ministry of Social Affairs issued a circular in the context of poverty alleviation, namely in 2007. This research aims to determine how the implementation of The Hope Family Program in Karangasem Village. What are the supporting factors and obstacles in the implementation of The Hope Family Program as well as the role of a companion like what is done to the recipients of The Hope Family Program assistance. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques using interview methods, observation methhods, and documentation methods. The results of this study stated that in Karangasem Village Dusun 02 the implementation of The Family Hope Program has not been running as is generally done in other villages, many obstacles occurred during the implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential problems of families left by Indonesian migrant workers. The method used is a literature review as a guide for finding research articles obtained from the internet using the Science Direct, Google Scholar, and Researchgate sites. Details of the article eligibility search strategyusing the PRISMA format (Identification, Screening, Eligibility, Included). Results From the analysis of 10 selected research articles, it shows that the potential problems that can arise as a result of families becoming migrants are: (1) capital management/remittances from work abroad which tend to be used for consumptive purposes; (2) increasing cases of rift in household relations, such as increasing infidelity, even leading to increased divorce and neglect of children; (3) problems with their children's development. Children of migrant workers who are left behind usually have problems in parenting. This can be avoided by implementing four aspects of PMI's family efforts in maintaining family integration, which are a manifestation of the conditions for the family system to run, namely: 1) Continuity of action in changing the division of labor represents adaptation. 2) Cooperation in achieving goals for the decision to become PMI represents goal attainment. 3) Coordination between husband and wife when problems arise represents integration. 4) The suitability of husband and wife actions with a set of values and norms in maintaining family integration represents a latent pattern of maintenance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the waste management system in the waste bank of Gampong Blang Krueng and how the contribution of the waste bank to community empowerment in Gampong Blang Krueng. This research is a qualitative research, the method used in this research is descriptive, the aim is to provide a clear picture of the state of the object under study based on the facts that appear as they are. The data collection techniques in this study used, observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the contribution of the waste bank to community empowerment was divided into two aspects, namely the aspect of building public awareness and the aspect of empowering the productive economy of the community. The first aspect is to build public awareness in managing waste. The second aspect is empowering productive economic communities, which means managing waste that can be recycled and then producing goods of value for resale.

Abstract

Education in the pandemi era has turned to online media. Learning from home or online becomes one that must be lived by students in Indonesia. This is because as an effort to prevent Covid-19. This is experienced by the students who are in the neighborhood of Al-Ma'had Mosque in Dukupuntang Cirebon Regency. Online learning activities have been running since the beginning of the pandemi. But online learning activities have a positive and negative impact. One of the negative impacts seen from students is the decrease in learning motivation due to the impact of this pandemi. Through the routine of studying the book of Ta'lim Muta'allim, it is hoped that it can foster the motivation to learn from the students, but to reveal the values contained in the book of Ta'lim Muta'alim, it is necessary to be able to read and write the yellow book that collects so that students can learn a wisdom. Research methods based on observation as a scientific way to obtain data with a specific purpose and usefulness. In this study, the results of the discussion will be conveyed that student empowerment activities through improving the ability to read and write the yellow book at the Al-ma'had Mosque become a routine activity to study students to learn the values contained in the book of Ta'lim Muta'alim and make motivation to learn during pandemi era

Abstract

This study looks at the synergy between Pertamina DPPU Adisucipto Yogyakarta and KWT Arimbi in an effort to survive the Sambilegi Kidul community during the Covid-19 pandemic in the JENG MANIZKU CSR program (A span of my Family Nutrition page). The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques using interviews, observations and documentation studies. This research was conducted from February to Maret 2022. The results of this study indicate that the form of synergy between the company and the community is realized by Pertamina DPPU Adisucipto Yogyakarta providing assistance for vegetable, fruit, fish seeds, and equipment for cultivation activities. In addition, Pertamina DPPU Adisucipto also provides assistance in planting. Meanwhile, KWT Arimbi acts as a partner who promotes agriculture to the community so that they can participate in planting activities to meet food availability during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The development of technology and information greatly affects sosial changes in the sosial order. One of them is a sub-urban community which is often interpreted as a transitional area. The purpose of this study was to find out how to assist sub-urban communities through strengthening the capacity of human resources in the Pesantren village, Mijen sub-district, Semarang city. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show, first, that there is a change and the creation of habituation in the work pattern of the fostered subjects that prioritizes the concept of hard and smart work. Second, the birth of community awareness in having a set of knowledge and skills (life skills) to increase religious knowledge in the community, and third the birth of assisted groups as teamwork that has high awareness and enthusiasm, and has the same ideals to build an assembly taklim.

Abstract

The Lodoyong Village area is an area that is prone to flooding. Therefore, handling is needed to protect the community from the threat of disaster. This study aims to determine the role of BPBD Semarang in empowering banjir bandang management in Lodoyong Village, Ambarawa District, Semarang Regency. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. The method of data collection using observation and interviews. Observations were carried out by observing directly at the location affected by the flood disaster. Meanwhile, interviews were conducted with BPBD Semarang and affected communities. The results showed that the role of BPBD in disaster management was carried out at the pre-disaster stage by establishing community preparedness and post-flood evacuation, logistical assistance and repair of public infrastructure. These various actions were taken to build community capacity in restoring socio-economic conditions

Abstract

The outbreak of Covid-19 cases in various countries, including Indonesia, has had a major impact on the economic condition of the community. In Indonesia, the government is collaborating with various parties in preventing the spread of Covid-19 and handling the economic problems it causes. One of the parties that has an important role in the Covid-19 prevention program and handling economic problems in Indonesia is the Puskesos. Puskesos or Pusat Kesejahteraan Sosial have the function of helping the community to obtain services in order to supply their needs in order to achieve prosperity. Puskesos have a strategic role in the context of equitable distribution of social welfare services for the community, especially the poor affected by covid 19. Given the importance of the role of Puskesos in handling poverty in communities affected by Covid-19, this study aims to examine the role of the Puskesos Griya Sejahtera in the Covid-19 handling program in Sumber Village, Sumber Subdistrict, Cirebon Regency. This research was conducted with a qualitative method with data collected based on observations, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that several roles of Puskesos in handling covid 19 in the Sumber villages are tracing, collecting data on people affected by Covid-19, collecting data on recipients of social assistance from the government, making certificates of underprivileged people, archiving data, and distributing aid provided by the government. In its implementation, Puskesos Griya Sejahtera encountered several obstacles including the limited number of members and administrators of the puskesos, the lack of socialization about puskesos to the community and the limited infrastructure of puskesos in supporting the work program.
