BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan is one of the scientific publication media, which publish the article related to the result of research or study in the field of Pure Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. Focus and scope of BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan, as follows: - Pure Mathematics (analysis, algebra & number theory), - Applied Mathematics (Fuzzy, Artificial Neural Network, Mathematics Modeling & Simulation, Control & Optimization, Ethno-mathematics, etc.), - Statistics, - Actuarial Science, - Logic, - Geometry & Topology, - Numerical Analysis, - Mathematic Computation and - Mathematics Education. The meaning word of "BAREKENG" is one of the words from Moluccas language which means "Counting" or "Calculating". Counting is one of the main and fundamental activities in the field of Mathematics. Therefore we tried to promote the word "Barekeng" as the name of our scientific journal also to promote the culture of the Maluku Area. BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan is published four (4) times a year in March, June, September and December, since 2020 and each issue consists of 15 articles. The first published since 2007 in printed version (p-ISSN: 1978-7227) and then in 2018 BAREKENG journal has published in online version (e-ISSN: 2615-3017) on website: (https://ojs3.unpatti.ac.id/index.php/barekeng/). This journal system is currently using OJS3.1.1.4 from PKP. BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan has been nationally accredited at Level 3 (SINTA 3) since December 2018, based on the Direktur Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi, Republik Indonesia, with Decree No. : 34 / E / KPT / 2018. In 2019, BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan has been re-accredited by Direktur Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi, Republik Indonesia and accredited in level 3 (SINTA 3), with Decree No.: 29 / E / KPT / 2019. Abstract

Making a class schedule becomes problem and takes a long time because of several obstacles such as the lack of lecture rooms, the lack of teaching staff, and the high of courses available in one semester. This study aims to apply genetic algorithms in making class schedules to facilitate the process of making class schedules. The method used is the waterfall method with the stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. The results of the application of genetics application show that the process of making course schedules can overcome the constraints of 1) space and time clashes, 2) lecturer conflicts, 3) Friday prayer times clashing, 4) there is a time when the lecturer wants for certain reasons, and 5) practicum in the laboratory room. By passing these constraints, the application of genetic algorithms in course scheduling is categorized as effective. Based on the results of running on 51 lecturers (51 chromosomes), the average running time 30 times in a row is 25.86 minutes so that the use of genetic algorithm applications in scheduling courses is efficient.

Abstract

COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease-2019) is an infectious disease caused by a new variant of coronavirus. Currently, COVID-19 is declared as a pandemic in many countries in the world, including Indonesia. Hence, Indonesian government has declared an emergency status of COVID-19 in 2020. Based on that declaration, there is a mandatory implementation of health protocols to overcome the pandemic. Even so, there are some people who ignores it. Based on that situation, this study aims to determine the factors affecting the level of community obedience of health protocols. To do this study, data was analyzed using factor analysis by involving eight variables. The result shows that there is two factors, named factor of perception about COVID-19 and factor of perception about health protocols. Factor of perception about COVID-19 involves four variables, such as knowledge variable , trust in government , perceived susceptibility , and perceived severity . Meanwhile, factor of perception about health protocols also involves four variables, such as perceived benefit , perceived barrier , cues to action , and clear information .

Abstract

Bali Island of the Gods is one of the wealth of very popular tourist destinations and has the highest number of foreign tourists in Indonesia. It is very necessary to do more in-depth learning related to the projections or forecasting of foreign tourist visits to Bali at a certain period of time. Forecasting analysis used is to compare two methods, namely the Seasonal ARIMA method (SARIMA) and Extreme Learning Machine (ELM). The SARIMA method is a statistical method commonly used in forecasting time series data that contains seasonality and has good accuracy. While the ELM method is a new learning method of artificial neural networks that has fast learning speed and good accuracy. The results obtained indicate that the Seasonal ARIMA method is a better method used to predict the number of tourists to Bali in this case, because it has a smaller forecasting MAPE value of 4.97%. While the ELM method has a forecasting MAPE value of 7.62%.

Abstract

The local antimagic total vertex labeling of graph G is a labeling that every vertices and edges label by natural number from 1 to such that every two adjacent vertices has different weights, where is The sum of a vertex label and the labels of all edges that incident to the vertex. If the labeling start the smallest label from the vertex then the edge so that kind of coloring is called the local super antimagic total vertex labeling. That local super antimagic total vertex labeling induces vertex coloring of graph G where for vertex v, the weight w(v) is the color of v. The minimum number of colors that obtained by coloring that induces by local super antimagic total vertex labeling of G called the chromatic number of local super antimagic total vertex coloring of G, denoted by χlsat(G). In this paper, we consider the chromatic number of local super antimagic total vertex coloring of Generalized Petersen Graph P(n,k) for k=1, 2.

Abstract

Eigen problems and eigenmode are important components related to square matrices. In max-plus algebra, a square matrix can be represented in the form of a graph called a communication graph. The communication graph can be strongly connected graph and a not strongly connected graph. The representation matrix of a strongly connected graph is called an irreducible matrix, while the representation matrix of a graph that is not strongly connected is called a reduced matrix. The purpose of this research is set the steps to determine the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the irreducible matrix over min-plus algebra and also eigenmode of the regular reduced matrix over min-plus algebra. Min-plus algebra has an ispmorphic structure with max-plus algebra. Therefore, eigen problems and eigenmode matrices over min-plus algebra can be determined based on the theory of eigenvalues, eigenvectors and eigenmode matrices over max-plus algebra. The results of this research obtained steps to determine the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the irreducible matrix over min-plus algebra and eigenmode algorithm of the regular reduced matrix over min-plus algebra

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. BCG vaccination is prevention the spread of TB in Indonesia. Individuals who are vaccinated (vaccinated) are healthy individuals and susceptible to infection. If a person is infected with TB then curative efforts through DOTS treatment must be carried out in order to recover. In the case of TB, recovered individuals may relapse. The susceptible vaccinated infected treatment recovered ( ) model with relapse cases is able to represent the spread of TB. This study aims to build the model with relapse, apply it to TB in Indonesia using data from 2004-2019, and interpret the results of implementing the TB-free target in Indonesia in 2050. The model is nonlinear first-order differential equations. The graph of the pattern of TB spread shows that all groups of individuals are experiencing an uptrend and it is predicted that the TB-free target has not been achieved. However, if the coverage of BCG vaccination and DOTS treatment is increased, contacts with TB sufferers are reduced, and relapse cases are reduced, it is predicted that the TB-free target will be achieved.

Abstract

The competitiveness of Indonesian workers is still lagging behind several countries in the world. For this reason, the Indonesian government needs to increase labor productivity which is a component of competitiveness. One of the efforts is to organize training related to work productivity. This study aims to evaluate and analyze the impact of productivity training programs organized by the government on the implementation of productive work culture in Indonesia. This study uses quantitative data analysis in the form of path analysis using SmartPLS software. The results show that productive work culture can encourage work productivity, job training can encourage Kaizen culture, and a productive work culture directly, but job training does not directly encourage work productivity. Kaizen culture has a positive and significant relationship to work productivity indirectly, but through the 5S culture first. The productivity improvement training program and consulting guidance by the government need to pay attention to the dominant work culture applied by companies to achieve high work productivity.

Abstract

This study discusses the regression modeling with spatial dependence to determine the factors affecting the labor force participation rate in Indonesia 2020. The spatial regression models used in this study are spatial Autoregressive Model (SAR) and Spatial Error Model (SEM), The finding concludes that the SAR model is better used in spatial modeling. At the same time, provincial minimum wage, the average length of school or educational level, and population are factors that affect the labor force participation rate in Indonesia 2020.

Abstract

In this article, we present a control design on a SIRD model with treatment in infected individuals. The SIRD model with treatment is obtained from literature study and the parameter model is obtained from covid-19 daily case in the Riau province using the Particle Swarm Optimization method. The control design is carried out based on the backstepping method combined with feedback linearization based on input and output (IOFL). The SIRD model which is a nonlinear system will be transformed into a normal form using IOFL. Each variable is then stabilized Lyapunov using virtual control which at the same time generates a new state variable. This stage will be carried out iteratively until the last state variable is stabilized using a real control function. This control function is then applied to the SIRD model using the inverse of IOFL transformation. The simulation results compared with the Pontryagin Minimum Principle (PMP) method show that by selecting the appropriate control parameters, backstepping obtains better control performance which is a smaller number of infected populations.
