Abstract

The existence of the Khoriyah Hasyim Vocational High School is one of the schools that carries out many religious activities. The existence of gaps in behavior (attitudes) among students requires educational institutions to be more active in developing religion. The formation of attitudes and personality attracts people and becomes an image for several schools. Therefore, with proper implementation, the process of realizing a school religious culture will become easier and more systematic. The aim of this research is to: (1) analyze the basis for the development of religious culture at Khoriyah Hasyim Vocational School Jombang, (2) analyze the implementation of religious culture development at Khoriyah Hasyim Vocational School Jombang, (3) analyze the implications of the principal's leadership for the development of religious culture at Khoriyah Vocational School Hasyim Jombang. The approach in this research uses qualitative research with a descriptive analytical case study approach. This research results in (1) the basis for developing religious culture at SMK Khoriah Hasyim Tebuireng Jombang, namely; environmental support, competent teachers, and based on five principles, namely; sincere, honest, responsible, hard work and tolerance. Abstract

Strengthening religious character has an important role in the era of disruption, but currently the increasingly sophisticated technology and the development of science have given rise to positive and negative impacts. This study discusses the strengthening of religious character and supporting and inhibiting factors for strengthening religious character based on school culture at SMP Raudlatul Muta'allimin Babat Lamongan. This study uses a qualitative case study approach. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation methods. The results of the study show that strengthening religious character at SMP Raudlatul Muta'allimin is carried out through routine habits with several activities, namely religious and non-religious activities, including: praying, reading the Qur'an, studying Islamic boarding school books, praying in congregation, istighotsah tahlil manaqib, carrying out ceremonies and scouts, mutual respect and tolerance. The supporting factors include: a pesantren-style environment, school regulations, accompanying teachers/mentors, religious guidebooks, religious and non-religious activities. While the inhibiting factors for strengthening religious character are lack of student awareness, lack of teacher supervision and competence, lack of facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of Islamic education in shaping religious moderation attitudes in the community of Selosari Village, Magetan, East Java. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study design, data collection techniques are carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation during January to June 2023, with data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions that are validated through source triangulation. The results of the study show that Islamic education plays a significant role in the formation of religious moderation attitudes through the integration of moderation values in the curriculum, inclusive teaching methods, and active community involvement, despite facing challenges from the influence of radical groups. The conclusion of the study shows that Islamic education in Selosari has succeeded in forming religious moderation attitudes through an integrated approach and community involvement.

Abstract

Moral development at SMA IT Al-Madaniyah Samuda has a very crucial role in the process of character formation of students. This school is committed to not only producing individuals who excel in academics, but also forming individuals with noble morals and are able to apply Islamic values in everyday life. Therefore, moral development is an integral part of the educational process given to students. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the moral development applied to students at SMA IT Al-Madaniyah Samuda and to identify the challenges faced in the process of moral development. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, the data sources in this study are students, parents of students, and the principal. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validation technique used in this study is source triangulation. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study indicate that moral development is carried out using various methods, such as lectures, questions and answers, discussions, and role models. In addition, there are several obstacles in the implementation of moral development, including differences in family background, time constraints, and variations in the role of teachers in implementing moral development.
