Abstract

This study is a quantitative study that aims to determine the relationship between social supportand emotional quotient with stress amid the Covid-19 pandemic in the Cempaka Putih WestCentral Jakarta community. The subjects of this study were 110 young adults who lived in WestCempaka Putih with an age range of 20-40 years, using a multistage random samplingtechnique. This study uses three measurement scales, namely the Stress Scale, SocialProvisions Scale (SPS), and Wang and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS). The resultsshowed that there was a significant negative relationship between social support and stress ofr = -0.309 and p = 0.001 (p <0.05). There is a significant negative relationship betweenemotional quotient and stress of r = -0.446 and p = 0.000 (p <0.05). Furthermore, the resultsof data analysis using multivariate correlation using the SPSS (Statistical Product and ServiceSolution) version 25.0 for MAC-windows computer program obtained a correlation coefficientof R = 0.507. The research results conclude that the higher social support, the lower stress isfelt, then if the higher emotional intelligence, the lower stress is felt, and vice versa, the lowersocial support, the higher stress is felt. Social support contributed 25.7% more dominantlythan emotional intelligence which accounted for 19.9% and the remaining 53% was anotherfactor not examined in this study.

Abstract

Based on a survey conducted by the author in 2020, the intensity of drinking coffee at a youngage is quite high. They consume an average of 1-3 cups of coffee per day. One reason is the lackof information on the dangers of drinking excessive coffee. Therefore, it is necessary to design aneducational media regarding the dangers of drinking excessive coffee that reaches youngaudiences. The design of this educational media aims to provide knowledge about healthydrinking patterns. The preliminary research was carried out through survey methods andliterature studies. The social media platform used is Instagram with the microblog concept. Thetarget audience is between 20-30 years old and in the Jabodetabek area who likes to interact viasocial media. Media design visually displays a warm, comfortable, and pleasant impressionthrough color, visual elements in the form of photos and vectors. Design verbally (how to say)through light language and bring a relaxed, comfortable, and familiar atmosphere. The verbaldelivery strategy uses light, relaxed, and familiar language. Information is conveyed in stagesand varied, namely: facts about coffee, the dangerous risks of drinking excessive coffee, andhealthy drinking patterns. Platform-related content management through the use of trending andrelevant hashtags, posting arrangements that refer to the educational cycle resulting in a schedulefor posting content that is divided into several editions for one month.

Abstract

About 60% of synthetic fabric fibers are used in fashion products that threaten theenvironment because they are difficult to decompose. The exigent condition of the accumulationof waste that does not decompose requires innovation of environmentally friendly materials forthe fashion industry. Therefore, to support the use of environmentally friendly materials, thisstudy explores the fibers of the Sanseivera sp. The superiority of the in-laws' tongue fiber is that ithas long fibers, is easy to twist and weave, and is easy to color with natural dyes. The explorationincludes processing techniques, namely macramé, tapestry, and other additive exploration;Exploration of the coloring used with natural dyes, namely Secang, Teger, Mango leaves,Avocado, Purple sweet potato, and Mangosteen; and application of exploration results intofashion accessories products. The result is an ideal tapestry technique for the exploration processof fiber materials. Additional materials to strengthen the fiber braid are latex and starch pulp. Theexploration of coloring with natural dyes resulted in the Hard - Soft - Warm color range of theKobayashi color matrix. Exploration application by making bags made of canvas, wovenmaterial as a result of technical exploration and coloring is affixed with the squeeze sewingtechnique.

Abstract

CV. Wooden Toys is a manufacturing company that is engaged in making educational wooden toyswhich are made from wood. The number of similar businesses that are currently developing is thebiggest challenge for CV. Wooden Toys to compete. Based on the results of interviews that havebeen conducted, this company has several problems, including a decrease in the number of salesfor the January-September 2019 period, late delivery, product damage that occurs due to thedelivery process, and an objective assessment of employee performance. Judging from theproblems that occur, researchers will conduct research on the performance appraisal of employeesof CV. Wooden Toys in the sales and marketing section. E. The purpose of this research is todetermine the results of the employee performance appraisal at CV Toys Kayu using 360 degreesand AHP methods. The research method used is the 360 degree method and Analytic HierarchyProcess (AHP). The 360 degree method provides assessments with various angles includingassessments given by superiors, coworkers and yourself, while the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method is used to determine the weighting of variables and subvariables that affect the employee performance appraisal which will be used as material in distributing questionnaires.From the results of the integration research of AHP and the 360 Degree Method that has beencarried out, the results of the performance appraisal in the online sales center section are equal to5.65, sales representives equal to 5.98, wholesale sales equal to 5.99, adm supervisor equal to6.69, and administration equal to 6.55. The priority variable that affects the employee performanceappraisal of CV Toys Kayu is a general trait where the general characteristic has a fairly highweight value, namely 0.390. While the priority subvariable that most influences the performanceappraisal of employees of CV Toys Kayun is innovative where innovative has a weight value equalto 0.390

Abstract

Bagasse as sugarcane processing waste has not been widely explored as a basic material or material insmall and handicraft industries. Bagasse fiber has potential characteristics to be used as a basic materialfor disposable products with strong and resistant characteristics and a natural visual characteristic ofbeauty. The research method used a qualitative descriptive approach in exploring bagasse and itscoloring. In this research, bagasse exploration and natural coloring were carried out to find alternativesin processing bagasse into the basic material for making bags. The results of exploration and observationwere selected with the consideration that ecofashion was formulated into conceptual and proceduralfindings that were applied in processing bagasse into the basic material for making bags. In selecting thefinal product which is designed as a visual model in the form of a bag, it is determined based on theaudience response from the questionnaire distributed. The final product is a bag designed from bagasseand natural coloring that can attract the public's interest.

Abstract

School is a very important place for every individual and also the primary center of a smartnation generation where the teaching and learning process is carried out continuously everyday. In the teaching and learning process, communication between parents and schools plays avery important role because students' academic success cannot be separated from the supportof their parents, currently parents and schools usually create WhatsApp Groups (WAGs) toestablish communication whose purpose is to find out about activities students in school suchas: attendance, student grades, exam schedule, important announcements, and others.Moreover, the Covid-19 Pandemic adds to the series of problems that must be resolved andimmediately sought for solutions together. For this reason, a system is needed to overcomethese problems through the use of information technology in the communication processbetween parents and schools. MySchool application aims to solve communication problemsbetween parents, teachers, and schools, besides this application also aims to support the schooladministration system in such as tuition fees, information on school activities, importantannouncements, and others. This application is also a series of solutions for the teaching andlearning processes of school activities during the Covid-19 pandemic and by optimizing it canconvert all activities to be completely digital ones. The feedbacks were very positive likehaving mobile app as a mean of communication at school provides effective relationshipbetween parents and the school.

Abstract

The development of the industrial revolution 4.0 which will enter industry 5.0 is a challenge andopportunity in facing the future, especially the clothing industry. Apparel industry needtechnopreneur in fashion. Technopreneurship is technology-based entrepreneurship. For this reason,fashion education is expected to increase their knowledge and skills in technology and digitalization.This study aims to determine the knowledge of lecturers and students towards technopreneurship inthe field of fashion. The research was conducted at the Fashion Design Study Program, StateUniversity of Jakarta with 95 respondents of the 2018 and 2019 Undergraduate Fashion Designstudents and the lecturers. The time of the research was carried out in the even semester of 2021.The data collection technique used is a survey using a questionnaire. The data analysis techniquesused in this study are descriptive statistics used to analyze data by describing or describing data thathas been collected as is without intending to make conclusions that apply to the general orgeneralization. The results of this study is lecturers and students' knowledge of technopreneurshipin fashion have an average percentage of almost the same for each sub-indicator, namely thepercentage of autonomy, proactive and aggressive sub-indicators in competition between lecturersand students is equally large. An innovative sub-indicator, the percentage of lecturer knowledge ishigher compared to students. While the percentage of risk-taking sub-indicators, students are higherthan lecturers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of e-learning media based on learningmanagement system (LMS) in the era of the covid-19 pandemic on student learning outcomes andactivities in the Information Systems study program with competence in scientific writingmethodology. The research used is a quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental) with a one grouppretest posttest design, namely experimental research carried out in one group that was chosenrandomly and no stability and clarity test of the group's condition was carried out before beingtreated. The population in this study were students majoring in Information Systems STMIK HasanSulur Wonomulyo. With a sample of 15 seventh semester students. The results obtained are (a)analysis of the N-Gain score on the pretest-posttest which is in the high category, which meansthere is a change in students' cognitive towards the implementation of the media; (b) analysis ofstudent activities in the very active category. Based on the research results obtained, the applicationof e-learning media based on the learning management system meets the effective category.Learning Management System can be used as a media reference in learning that can improvestudent learning outcomes and activities

Abstract

CV. Brilliant is a manufacturing company engaged in the convection industry in themanufacture of various types of clothing, namely shirts, t-shirts, school uniforms and officeuniforms. In running its business where there are complaints from production employees on workreports regarding performance appraisals that do not have measurable standards so thatperformance appraisals tend to be subjective, and there is no target and reciprocity on employeeperformance achievements so that employees feel uncomfortable and unmotivated at work whichresults in decreased production in the period from January to June 2019. The purpose of thisstudy is to find out the causes of the decline in employee performance and solutions to increaseemployee productivity, the researchers analyzed using the Behaviorally Anchor Rating Scale(BARS) and Management By Objectives (MBO) methods using SPSS software. From the resultsof the analysis obtained several factors in the performance appraisal including Personality worth5,167, Work Behavior 2,069, Quality of work 1,825, Reliability 1,355 work and Managerial1,028 as well as the existence of standard goals and reciprocity for employees in performance appraisal to increase productivity. Using both methods can solve performance appraisal problemsso that employees can work comfortably and full of motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Career Development, Job Satisfaction andOrganizational Commitment on Employee Turnover Intentions. the method used in this studyusing quantitative methods. The sample in this study were employees who worked in theMM2100 Industrial Estate with as many as 100 people. Statistical analysis performedincluded multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of dataanalysis, it can be concluded that: There is a negative and significant effect of CareerDevelopment on Employee Turnover Intentions. There is a negative and significant effect ofjob satisfaction on employee turnover intentions. There is a negative and significant effect oforganizational commitment on turnover intentions. The value of the coefficient ofdetermination is 0.820, which means that variations in employee turnover intentions in theMM2100 Industrial Estate are influenced by Career Development, Job Satisfaction andOrganizational Commitment by 82%. While the remaining 18% is influenced by othervariables outside the study.
