Abstract

The purpose of this study were to determine: 1) the influence of the learning model of creative thinking; 2) the influence of self-concept to think creatively, and 3) the influence of the interaction and the concept of self-learning model for creative thinking. The research method used was experimental method. A sample of 80 people selected at random from the 13 study groups. The data was collected by administering a written test questions to measure variables studied. Data analysis using descriptive statistics and 2-way ANOVA. The results showed: 1) a significant difference to the learning model with the ability to think creatively sig = 0.000; 2) there is a significant effect of self-concept of the ability to think creatively with sig = 0.000, and 3) there is a significant interaction effect of learning model and self-concept of the ability to think creatively with sig = 0.018.

Abstract

This research is aimed to develop high school physics teaching materials that can provide independent learning to high school students in Physics learning, in accordance with the demands of the curriculum. The research applied research development methods. It is implemented in FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof.DR.HAMKA and the trial and implementation are done in a number of high schools in Jakarta in 2017. The development of physics learning module with contextual approach was implemented in several stages, the first is analysis, the second is feasibility test, and the last is field trial. The instruments consisted of needs analysis questionnaire, validation sheet of feasibility test, and validation sheet of the test results. The module developed was validated by senior physics teachers in several high schools in Jakarta. The validation shows interpretation score of 73% - 93%. Physics learning module with contextual approach on wave material already has correct components, and it is feasible to be used as a companion module.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung konsep diri terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika, pengaruh langsung kecemasan belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan pengaruh langsung konsep diri terhadap kecemasan belajar serta pengaruh tidak langsung konsep diri terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika melalui kecemasan belajar.Metode penelitian yang digunakan teknik penelitian survei. Sampel berjumlah 95 responden yang dipilih secara acak dan proporsional dari seluruh siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Jakarta Barat. Analisis data menggunakan metode analisis jalur dengan pendekatan analisis regresi dengan bantuan SPSS 20 dan uji-t sebagai uji statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Tidak terdapat pengaruh langsung yang signifikan konsep diri terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika 2) Tidak terdapat pengaruh langsung yang signifikan terhadap kecemasan belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika 3)Terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung yang signifikan konsep diriterhadap kecemasan belajar 4) Tidak terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung yang signifikan konsep diri terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematikamelalui kecemasan belajar. Kata Kunci: Konsep Diri, KecemasanBelajar, Kemampuan Menyelesaikan Masalah Matematika.

Abstract

Purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the inquiry learning method and creativity on learning to mathematics learning. This research was an experimental study with research design two way anova. This research did on Indraprasta University students with 68 persons. From this research we know that: 1) any effect of the inquiry learning method to mathematics learning, 2) any effect of creatifity on learning to mathematics learning, 3) any effect of interaction inquiry learning method and creativity on learnning to mathematics learning, 4) any significant effect of inquiry learning method with conventional learning method to students which have high creativity, 5) no significant effect of inquiry learning method with conventional learning method to students which have low creativity, 6) any significant effect of student mathematics learning which have high creativity and low creativity on teached by inquiry method, and 7) no significant effect of student mathematics learning which have high creativity and low creativity on teached by conventional method.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to. Knowing the influence of learning motivation and interest towards the achievement of Junior High School students learn math in Karawaci subdistrict of Tangerang. The sample used in the 63 students who get with a random sampling technique. The collection of data by questionnaire (question form) to gauge interest and motivation to learn, while learning math achievement is taken from the value of the UAS. Test results whose hypotheses, namely 1) find out the influence of the interest and motivation of learning together towards the achievement of Junior High School students learn math in Karawaci subdistrict of Tangerang. 2) know how the learning interest towards the achievement of Junior High School students learn math in Karawaci subdistrict of Tangerang. 3) know how the learning motivation toward achievement of Junior High School students learn math in Karawaci subdistrict of Tangerang.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of self-concept on academic achievement, the influence of positive thinking on learning achievement as well as the influence of self-concept and positive thinking to mathematics achievement. The method used was a survey method. Population targeted in this study were all students of class XI SMK State Citra, Depok. Samples were taken by simple random sampling technique, as many as 35 students. The research instrument consisted of 2 kinds of mathematics achievement (test scores), self-concept and positive thinking (a questionnaire). Data were analyzed by multiple regression correlation techniques. Hypothesis testing results show that there is significant self-concept on mathematics achievement, there is the influence of positive thinking on mathematics achievement, and there is the influence of self-concept and positive thinking together on mathematics achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self efficacy, and adversity quotient on Physics problem solving. This research is based on the low problem solving of Physics, caused by self-efficacy and adversity quotient. The research used a quantitative approach, survey method with path analysis technique. A sample of 100 students selected at random. The data collection technique used questionnaires to measure self-efficacy, and adversity quotient, while the essay question was used to measure the Physics problem solving on the electric current matter. The result of the path coefficient calculation in the path analysis model is more than 0.05 which means significant. Physics problem-solving path coefficient on self-efficacy 0.222, with contribution 4.92%. Physics problem-solving coefficient on adversity quotient is 0.290 (8.41%). The contribution of self-efficacy to adversity quotient is 7.18% with path coefficient 0.268. The result shows that adversity quotient has a more dominant influence on Physics problem-solving.The results of the study show that: (1) self-efficacy has a positive effect on Physics problem solving, (2) adversity quotient has positive effect on Physics problem solving, (3) self-efficacy has positive effect on adversity quotient, and (4) self-efficacy gives an indirect effect on Physics problem solving through adversity quotient.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan menganalisis secara empiris pengaruh gaya hidup dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa Sampel dipilih secara random sebanyak 130 siswa. Analisis dilakukan dengan metode regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh pada setiap variable. Ditunjukkan pada setiap kenaikan satu unit gaya hidup akan diikuti dengan kenaikan prestasi belajar matematika sebesar 0.137. Setiap kenaikan satu unit motivasi akan diikuti dengan kenaikan Prestasi Belajar Matematika sebesar 0.906. Setiap kenaikan satu unit gaya hidup dan sekaligus dengan kenaikan satu unit motivasi akan diikuti dengan kenaikan Prestasi Belajar Matematika sebesar 1.043. Secara bersama sama variabel gaya hidup dan variabel motivasi belajar dapat menentukan variabel hasil belajar sebesar 91. 6 persen. Hal ini terdiri dari sumbangan variabel gaya hidup sebesar 6.32 persen, dan dari variabel motivasi belajar sebesar 85,22 persen. Atau tingkat efektifitas sumbangan menunjukkan bahwa ternyata gaya hidup hanya 6.9 persen dibandingkan dengan variabel motivasi belajar yang menyumbang sebesar 93,1 persen.

Abstract

The most recent research finding has shifted the old paradigm on the importance of quality of educator in improving education quality. The old paradigm on the quality of educator based solely on education certification is a fallacy, because the most important is now rely on the level of competence and its effective use in classroom. It means that the role of professional educator in terms of competence is required. However, like other professions, educator as a profession is still in the process of development. Consequently, certification of educator profession needs to be developed and standardized because those are not only to speed up the development of educator profession, but more importantly also to drive the quality, the effectiveness, and the tideness of education process. Moreover, the enfoscement of profession educator will not only guarantee quality, but also protect education process from possible existing malpractice behavior of educator and having exposed from inadequate education materials. Moreover, this will also provide legal security and become the basis of appropriate renumetation system for educator profession accordingly. Toward the establishment of an accountable certification system for educator profession, a systematic steps have to be carried out, including: formulating standard of competence for educator, exploring supporting body of knowledge, framing types and levels of competence, articulating professional code of ethics, developing standards of professional education and training, establishing system and mechanism for professional enhancement, formulating licencing system and mechanism for institutions running professional education program, monitoring and safeguarding the implementation of profession, implementing a punishment system for those who breaks profession code of ethics, and developing professional certification management system. Collaboration with professional organizations, tertiary education institutions, parents, and students, the government as a regulator, distributor, and resource allocator should comprehensively regulate certification for educator profession. With support from academician, practician, and parents, professional organization should take an initiative in the movement of educator profession certification development. Tertiary education institutions, institutionally or through their individual academicians, may take part in developing concent and regulations for both insititution and individual educator, and offer pre- and in- service training program in one or more specializations of educator profession.

Abstract

Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan menguji kebenaran hipotesis mengenai pengaruh strategi pembelajaran dan minat belajar terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Matematis Siswa.Populasi terjangkau pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri Kota Depok Kls VIII tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen yang menggunakan desain ANAVA dua arah. Sampel berukuran 60 siswa yang terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 30 siswa kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan strategi pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa, dibuktikan dengan nilai Fhitung13,626 dan sig. 0,001 < 0,05 (2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan minat belajar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa, dibuktikan dengan nilai Fhitung15,992 dan sig. 0,000 < 0,05 (3) Terdapat pengaruh interaksi yang signifikan strategi pembelajaran dan minat belajar siswa terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilaiF-hitung (4,637) dan sig. 0,36 (< 0,05). Implikasinya seorang guru harus mempunyai banyak cara untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa, dengan mempelajari berbagai strategi pembelajaran dan mengenal karakter siswa yang beragam. Strategi pembelajaran inkuiri dapat menjadi referensi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.Kata kunci: Strategi Pembelajaran, Minat Belajar, dan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Matematis Siswa
