The aim of this research is to know the influence of mathematical communication skills of the students toward the learning result (achievement) in junior high school in Jakarta. The research method which was used in the research is survey method. The population of research is all students in junior high school in Penjaringan, north Jakarta. Samples are taken by simple random sampling, consisted of 34 students. The research instrument is mathematical communication skills of the students and mathematics learning achievement. Data analysis employed regretion correlation. The hypothesis testing resulted in conclusion: there a positive correlation of mathematical communication skills of the students toward the mathematics learning achievement.

This research aimed at developing, producing a valid and practical students’ workbook Realistic Mathematic Education Approach Based and facilitating student mathematic representing ability on Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables material.The method of this research was a Research and Development (R&D) through the development of 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) Model.This research was administered at State Junior High School 2 Pasir Penyu.The subjects of this research were 29 students of class VIII 1, and the object was student mathematic workbook Realistic Mathematic Education Approach Based.The questionnaire tests of validity, practicality, and mathematic representing test. were the instruments of collecting data.It could be concluded that validity test result on student workbook Realistic Mathematic Education Approach Based on Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables material at State Junior High School 2 Pasir Penyu was on valid category (78.21%).It proved that the developed student workbook was avowed by validators because it accomplished all components, and it was a revised product.Practicality test result by students was avowed very practical (94.16%).Student mathematic workbook Realistic Mathematic Education Approach Based successfully facilitated student mathematic representing ability with the percentage of mastery level 82.5%.The result showed that Student mathematic workbook Realistic Mathematic Education Approach Based was valid, practical, and student mathematic representing ability.

Purpose of this research is to find and analyze empirically trigonometry learning outcomes in terms of the form of feedback and cognitive style. The research design used in this study is a 2 x 2 factorial design with three variables consisting of two independent variables, namely the form of feedback and cognitive styles, as well as the dependent variable, which is the result of learning trigonometry. The data collection was done by using the test (variable learning outcomes trigonometry), questionnaire technique (variable cognitive style) and documentation techniques (variable feedback form). The collected data were then analyzed using the technique of two-way ANOVA followed by t-test due to the influence of the form of feedback with cognitive style on learning outcomes trigonometry. Before the data were analyzed, first performed descriptive statistical analysis and test data requirements (test for normality and homogeneity test). The results showed that: (1) There is the influence of feedback on learning outcomes trigonometry, (2) There is the influence of cognitive style on learning hasill trigonometry, (3) There is a shape Interaction Effects of feedback and cognitive style on learning outcomes trigonometry.

The "FindBoiliQ" learning program is a high school physics learning program utilizing the boiler industry (steam engine) as an inquiry-based learning object as a learning method. The research methodology in this study is a research development (Research and Development, abbreviated R & D) in the field of education. This study focuses on the development of learning programs "FindBoiliQ" is short for Physics, Industrial-Boiler and InQuiry, also is a combination of the words "Find, Boil, and iQ" The meaning contained in the 3 words of physics as high school subjects, boiler industry is the object of learning, and Inquiry is a method of learning, all three have different roles and functions to form a physics learning program that can improve student achievement. "FindBoiliQ" has characteristics based on the above word equivalents, ie; electing the concepts of physics that are considered complex given the stimulus in the form of activity visits to the object of learning to observe the implementation of physics concepts in the real world so that students have a response in the form of an increase in their curiosity on the concept that is considered complex. The strong curiosity of students is further enhanced by the interactive Multimedia (MMI) of learning that is able to imagine the concept of the abstract to something more real. The results of the "FindBoliQ" implementation in experimental class students are able to improve concept comprehension better than the students' understanding of the concept of control class with regular learning on the same concept.

In essence, education is vital to live a social life, as well as for the development and progress of a nation. Education also has a great influence on changing one's way of life. Since we are born we have started to get an education, especially of the family. Many parties agree that the family is the first school for students. Education does not stand by itself, a lot of factors that affect the process of education. One of them in carrying out the necessary education and learning. Teaching and learning process greatly assist learners to gain useful knowledge. In undergoing the process of teaching and learning in schools there are many fields of science, one of which is math. Mathematics is a science that its use in various fields of science or in terms of human life. In improving the learning achievement of students is confidence. This confidence must be owned by each learner. n fact, possessed the confidence of each learner is still relatively low. This is evident from the lack of a sense of confidence when working on math problems or the time to come forward to do the problems on the board. This research aims to study how the learning outcomes of students in learning mathematics using technology media watch, compared with expository teaching. The design of the study is the design of experimental and control group pretest-posttest imposed on the subject of study, consisting of 21 students of the experimental group and control group of 20 students randomly selected 41 students of Class X Manado Irene Christian High School. The results showed an average group of students learning outcomes that follow mathematics learning using technology media watch group is higher than the students in the expository teaching to all learning materials are programmed in this study.

The purpose of the study was to determine the role of problem-based learning model to critical thinking ability and creative thinking ability. The subjects were students of semester IV Mathematics Education Study Program, University of Indraprasta PGRI, Jakarta in 2013/2014, in the subject of Basic Chemistry II. The selection of the class for this study was based on multistage random sampling. Experiments conducted on the sample of 30 experimental class students with problem-based learning model and 30 control class students with expository learning model. The data was collected by implementing tests of critical thinking ability and creative thinking ability with essay test. Analysis of research data using MANOVA support by SPSS. From the results of the study concluded that learning models give influence to the critical thinking ability and creative thinking ability together (F=21,815;p=0.000).

This study aims to analyze the results of learning mathematics in terms of the effect of the interaction between description and formative tests students' emotional intelligence. Research using experimental methods to design a 2x2 factorial treatment by level, and get the results as follows: (1) Overall, the results of the students' mathematics learning structured descriptions given formative tests is higher than that given in descriptions of formative tests are free. (2) There is an interaction effect descriptions and formative tests of emotional intelligence to the results of students' mathematics learning. In the group of students who are given the description of structured formative test results obtained studying mathematics students who have low emotional intelligence is higher than the students who have high emotional intelligence, while in the group of students were given a description of formative tests obtained free math learning outcomes of students who have low emotional intelligence no different from students who have high emotional intelligence. In order to improve the quality of mathematics learning, teachers should be able to conduct a formative test innovation in narrative form. Giving the description formative tests should be tailored to the level of emotional intelligence of students.

This study aims to determine the application of blended learning with edmodo application based on PDEODE learning strategy (Predict-Discuss-Explain-Observe-Discuss-Explain). The process of teaching science teaching in class VIII MTs Negeri Magelang is still running monoton that is still using conventional method, so that students are more passive. Utilization of technology and the internet is less effective, whereas facilities and infrastructure that exist in school is complete. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in 4 stages, they are plan, act, observe, and reflect. Data analysis technique using gain standar to know student achievement before and after action. The results showed that the application of blended learning with edmodo application based on PDEODE learning strategy can improve student achievement of VIIIF grade MTs N Magelang. This is evidenced by the percentage of students' learning mastery of pre-cycle to cycle 1 increased 31%, increase from cycle I to cycle II by 62%, and increase from pre-cycle to cycle II by 93%.

Indonesia has an abundance nature resource. Unwisely nature resources utilization through over-exploitation results in nature deterioration in Indonesia. Over-exploitation affects the environmental service supplies and endangers human being in the future. Environmental services utilization is an effort to utilize the potential services of ecosystem functions without destroying and reducing the main functions. For the sake of guarantee sustainable life on the earth, it is required student understanding of environmental services; therefore it needed teachers who understand of environmental services. This article is based on the research about teacher understanding toward environmental services and perceptions about the importance of teaching environmental services material to junior high school student. Majority opinion of the teachers is important to educate environmental services for the future of nation.
