Abstract

Education is one service industry that provides services to students in need. One of Institute from Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java organized and developed the science, technology, and as a scientific community that is full of sublime imagery and educates the nation's life. The real conditions encountered by Institute is currently at in providing services to students especially on teaching staff (lecturers) as well as academic staff not yet optimal. An increase in the quality of service can be implemented using approach servequal. Servqual is a method for measuring the quality of service from a service provider. Quality of service is measured from each dimension (tangible, responsiveness, reliability, assurance, Empathize). For the result we know 5 elements spread on 4 quadrants. Quadrant 1 is spread 6 things, Quadrant II is spread 11 things, Quadrant III are spread 9 things and last Quadrant IV are spread 4 things. We investigate causes that need problem-solving on Institute by Root Cause Analyze (RCA.) Based on the results of calculation and pay attention to the real conditions, interviews with students, obtained significant complaints with the research. In this case, the Institute should improve the quality of service, both in terms of performance of teaching staff, and the number of teaching staff for teaching and learning process can be going well, so does the relationship of administration and facility staff and other supporting improved.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to obtain empirical data on the influence of using clock set media towards math learning outcomes. This research used the experiment method at second grade of SD Islam Al Azhar 1 Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan. In this research was done by taking two classes; experiment class and control class, Each class consists of 36 students. The instrument that is used in this research is test with using multiple choice questions which have been validated empirically. Data analysis used in this research is t test. The result of this research is there is significant influence between using of clock set media towards math learning outcomes at second grade of SD Islam Al Azhar 1 Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan.

Abstract

One of the goals of the development of the 2013 curriculum is the change of the learning process (from students to be learned to students to find out) by focusing on improving cognitive and skills. The fact shows that the process of physics learning in high school is still not fully in accordance with the principles of applying the curriculum 2013 so that the impact on the low achievement of cognitive abilities and students' science process skills. Based on these problems, a pre-experiment research was conducted using a one-pretest-posttest research design that aims to obtain an overview of cognitive skills improvement and students' science process skills as the impact of integrated learning cycle stages with inquiry labs method in physics learning. The results showed that there was an increase in cognitive abilities and science process skills of students with N-gain of 0.57 and 0.69.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis konsep diri dan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis matematika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survai. Subjek penelitian sebagai populasi seluruh siswa SMP Depok dengan populasi terjangkau siswa di SMP Negeri 8 dan SMP Mutiara Bangsa Depok dan sampel dipilih secara random 85 orang. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai September hingga Desember 2014. Data yang digunakan diperoleh melalui teknik tes serta dianalisis menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis jalur. Dalam hal ini perhitungan hipotesis menggunakan SPSS 20.0. Hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) Terdapat pengaruh langsung variabel konsep diri dengan terhadap kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal dengan nilai thitung = 3,012. (2) Terdapat pengaruh langsung konsep diri terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis Matematika dengan nilai thitung = 2,482. (3) Terdapat pengaruh langsung negative kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis matematika dengan nilai thitung = -1,308 (4) Tidak terdapat Pengaruh Tidak Langsung konsep diri (X1) terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis (Y) melalui kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal (X2) dengan berdasarkan nilai thitung = 0,148. Implikasi dari penelitian ini antara lain: (1) Secara praktis penelitian ini dapat memberikan masukan kepada guru agar mengarahkan konsep diri dan komunikasi interpersonal siswa kea rah yang positif agar siswa dapat memiliki kemamapuan berfikir kritis matatika yang baik (2) Secara teoritis penelitian dapat menambah ilmu pengetahuan dalam pendidikan bagi institute maupun akademis dan mahasiswa.Kata Kunci: Konsep Diri, Kemampuan Komunikasi Interpersonal, Kemampuan Berfikir Kritis Matematika

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in students' creativity in solving mathematical problems and student response after learning the methods of what's another way. To achieve these objectives with the class action research conducted qualitative descriptive approach. Research subjects were students in grade VII SMP N Semanding, Tuban. Data collection techniques, to find out the creativity problem solving is done through task-based interviews. To study the response of students is done through questionnaire responses of students. Analysis of data creativity problem solving creativity refers to the three indicators, namely fluency, flexibility, and novelty. The results showed that subjects with good levels of mathematical ability, moderate and less intelligent, creativity in solving problems increased after the applied method of what's another way. The quality of students' creativity in solving the problem tends to be low. Being the response of students towards learning by using the "what's another way" is very positive.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Teams Assisted Individualization (TAI) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi barisan dan deret tak hingga di kelas XI. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi barisan dan deret tak hingga antara kelas yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Teams Assisted Individualization dengan kelas yang diajar menggunakan metode ekspositori. Dari data yang terkumpul diperoleh bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran TAI lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan ekspositori Setelah hipotesis diuji t, maka diperoleh thitung = 4,48 dan ttabel = 1,684 pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Dengan demikian, maka thitung> ttabel, sehingga hal ini membuktikan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diajar dengan TAI lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan ekspositori.Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar Matematika, Model Pembelajaran Teams Assisted Individualization

Abstract

One of the competences that should be must be possesses by mathematics teacher is the competence in planning the learning material, making learning material model, and designing the learning strategy for mathematics subjects. So he/she can meet the requirements to be a mathematics teacher who can do his/her duty professionally. Besides that, a teacher is required to understand and possess adequate skills in developing mathematical models of effective learning, creative and fun, as it hinted in the education unit level curriculum inspite of mathematics has high level of difficulty.

Abstract

Physics learning aims to gain an understanding of facts, the ability to recognize and solve problems on an object, and have a scientific attitude that can be demonstrated in everyday reality. With the development of curriculum in universities, students are allowed to further hone their skills in following the learning in the classroom. The method used in this research is quantitative approach by using questionnaire of learning motivation, learning result as a data source. The population at the same time the subject used is Civil Engineering student class A with total 35 students. The results showed that the average student learning outcomes were 74, 65, the standard deviation of 5.37 with the highest score was in the score of 85.00 and the lowest score was 66.00, the learning motivation scores were in the 100-130 interval for the high category, score 0 -80 medium category. Regression test results obtained tcount: 7, 54> ttable: 1.68, with a significance level of 0.05. So the motivation to learn students in the implementation of lab laboratory is very supportive students in construct knowledge and skills possessed. The conclusion in this research is the need of improvement from the aspect of student's learning motivation in following the learning or the implementation of practicum activities so that the learning outcomes obtained are satisfactory.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to analyze differences in the influence function of teachers (between classroom teachers with subject teachers ) and the IQ level of the mathematics learning outcomes. This research was conducted at the fifth grade elementary school students in the district Kramat Jati. The sample used in this study consisted of 10 elementary schools, both public and private as many as 352 students and were selected by cluster sampling. Normality Tests performed using Liliefors test with the results of several different groups. Where data is normally categorized Testing homogeneity with the Bartlet test results data used is homogeneous. Research hypothesis testing using 2 way ANOVA, with the calculation that the learning outcomes of students who are taught mathematics by teachers of better than students taught by classroom teachers, math learning outcomes of students who have a high IQ level is better than the students who have a low IQ level, there was an interaction effect between the teacher and the function of the IQ level of mathematics learning outcomes of primary school students in the District Kramat Jati.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan logik matematika dan minat belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey. Sampel berukuran 150 siswa kelas VIII dari 3 SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Menteng yaitu SMP N 280, SMP N 8, dan SMP N 1, dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik penyebaran angket dan teknik tes. Analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis jalur. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1) Kecerdasan logik matematik berpengaruh secara langsung dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, 2) Minat belajar berpengaruh secara langsung dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, 3) Kecerdasan logik berpengaruh secara langsung dan signifikan terhadap minat belajar siswa, dan 4) Kecerdasan logik matematik memiliki pengaruh secara tidak langsung dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika melalui minat belajar siswa.
