Abstract

The 2013 curriculum emphasizes learning using the scientific approach. In fact, many teachers still use conventional learning methods so that it impacts on student activity in the learning process. Moreover, the material taught is not related to concrete situations. The simulation method can be used to improve student learning outcomes in 4th grade in social science KD 4.2. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the simulation method on the ability to distinguish regions affected by the Mount Kelud eruption and to know the effect of the simulation method on the ability to demonstrate the mitigation efforts of the Mount Kelud eruption as a volcano in elementary school students in Kediri. The results of this study indicated: (1) based on the test results obtained tcount = 9.531> ttable = 2.032 with a significance level of 0.05, there were differences in the results of the average pre-test with post-test which meant that there was an influence of using the simulation method on the ability of students to distinguish regions affected by the eruption of Mount Kelud; (2) based on the test results obtained tcount = 12.063> ttable = 2.032 with a significance level of 0.05, there were differences in the results of the average non-simulation with simulation, which meant that there was an influence of using the simulation method on the ability to demonstrate mitigation efforts in eruption of the Kelud as a volcano

Digital technology is one proof of the development of technological progress in the 21st century. These technological advancements have influenced several fields, one of which is education. In this digital era, technology is involved in the field of education, especially in the learning process. Digital technology is now used as a learning medium. The use of digital technology as a learning medium means that the teacher has balanced knowledge with the technological advancements that occur. The research was conducted with a qualitative study by distributing questionnaires to 17 elementary schools in the district of Cileunyi. From the findings, it was known that all teachers have used digital technology as a medium of learning in elementary schools with different usage scales. The use of digital technology as a learning medium had an impact on teachers and the learning process undertaken. There were teachers who felt learning to be effective and innovative, yet there were still difficulties in using digital technology and felt the use of digital technology in elementary was less effective.

Abstract

The appropriate learning approach used in this digital era (industry 4.0) is blended learning (on-line). This research started from analyzing the needs of teachers and students and then designed a new model that fitted the desired needs both teachers and students. After designing the model, it was implemented then evaluated the results of the process that has been carried out. The purpose of this research was to see an appropriate model dealing with the fourth industrial revolution. The method used in this research was a quantitative descriptive method using descriptive statistical data analysis with the percentage formula. The results obtained in this study on practicality obtained very practical results, while the effectiveness of the results obtained experienced a very significant increase from 44.7 to 85.3 in terms of style understanding, the second material from 33.33 to 80 on various styles (muscle force, electric force, magnetic force, gravitational force and frictional force), and on the material the benefits of that force in daily life from 29.2 to 83.33.

Abstract

This research aims at developing folklore story book of " Ikan Sakti Sungai Janiah" and finding out its feasibility. The story book was designed by using coreldraw7. Model 4D was used as the research method by using four stages; those are define, design, develop and dessiminate, but it was only limited until the third stage. The data of this research was taken from a valid design-expert-instrument, a valid language-expert-instrument and students’ responses. The data was a quantitative data which was measured by using guideline citeria for assessment categories in determining the quality of the product. The research findings based on a design expert on draft 1 with average percentage of 81.4% with feasible category considered improved on draft 2 to 96% with highly feasible category. Furthermore, based on a language expert on draft 1 with the average percentage 68.75% with feasible category, it was considered improved on draft 2 to 95% with highly feasible category. For students’ responses, the average percentage was 94.5% with highly feasible category. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the product developed by the researcher was considered very proper to use as a learning source of literature at primary school.

Abstract

Growing learning motivation and science processing skill are very difficult because of limited learning time at school which result in the application of learning motivation and science processing skill less than optimal. Through application creativity learning model, it is expected to be able to achieve the objectives of this research which is to analyze creativity learning model toward learning motivation and science processing skill. This research classified into quasi-experimental and the design was non-equivalent post-test only control group. All fourth-grade students belonged to the population, contained 8 classes with 184 students. Technique for sample selection was random sampling and got experimental class with 31 students and control class with 30 students. Research instrument consist of questionnaire and essay test. Manova test was used to analyze the data and continue with LSD test. From the reseach, the result showed the significant effect toward learning motivation and science processing skill that proven by significance score 0.000 that means less than 0.05 then Ho is rejected and based on LSD test, ∆µ was less than LSD.. The findings portrayed learning motivation and science processing skill positively influenced by creativity learning model. Creativity learning model is suitable for dealing with low learning motivation and science processing skills and would be problem solving about learning especially in the use of learning model.

Abstract

This research aims to figure out the effect of quantum teaching learning model with Tri Kaya Parisudha toward natural science learning outcomes. This research was an experimental research design with non-equivalent post-test only control group.. The research populations were all fourth grades students of cluster III Kintamani academic years 2019/2020 with 127 students in total. Research sample was determined through simple random sampling with lottery; as a result, 22 fourth grades students of SDN Abuan became the experimental class and 20 fourth grades students of SDN Bayung Gede became the control group. Data collection used was natural science learning outcomes test. The data were analyzed through ttest. Based on the analysis, this research portrayed that there was an effect of quantum teaching learning model with Tri Kaya Parisudha toward natural science learning outcomes. The analysis result showed that t-score was 4.879 while t-table with 5% significance was 2.021. The average score of the group that got quantum teaching learning model with Tri Kaya Parisudha treatment was 20.27 with high category, and the average score of the group that did not get quantum teaching learning model with Tri Kaya Parisudha treatment was 13.85 with medium/normal category. It meant that the average score of the group that got quantum teaching learning model with Tri Kaya Parisudha treatment was higher than the average score of the group that did not get the same treatment
