Abstract

Abstract: This study departed from low yields learn science, with the average achieved learning outcomes at 65.50 with the percentage of 43.33% completeness. The low yield is due to the study: (1) students feel bored, passive, and does not have the initiative to resolve an issue that is given by the teacher, so that in solving a problem the students were only waiting for an answer from the teacher or other students; (2) learning activities in science subjects are not oriented to students but still oriented or centered on the teacher (teaching center); and (3) the learning process is centered on the teacher and the only important or oriented on the end result rather than the process of student learning. Based on this the researchers conducted a study class action by applying inquiry learning model. This research was conducted at SDN 04 Padang Mutung Kecamatan Kampar, with research subjects class V students with the enrollment of 30 students, with details of 13 male students and 17 female students. This research was conducted as many as two cycles, data collection techniques used were observation and written tests. The study states that the implementation of inquiry learning model can increase the activity of teachers and students and learning outcomes IPA. This is evidenced by: (a) mastery learning students has increased, the base score increased to 19 people in the first cycle, then increased to 25 people in the second cycle. The average learning outcomes increased from a base score is 55.67 into 72.00 in the first cycle and 76.50 in the second cycle; (B) the activities of teachers in the first cycle teacher meeting I earn a percentage of 57.50% in the first cycle II meeting to obtain a percentage increase of 65.00%. In the second cycle was a meeting I earn a percentage of 75.00% and in the second meeting of the second cycle gained 87.50%; and (c) the activity of students in the first cycle teacher meeting I earn a percentage of 60.71% in the first cycle II meeting to obtain an increase of the percentage of 75.00%. In the second cycle was a meeting I earn a percentage 82.14% and in the second meeting of the second cycle gained 89.29%. Abstract

Abstract: SAS method (Structural Analytical Synthetic) in beginning reading  skill improvement in I Grade Primary School. This research aim to describe: a step-by-step method of SAS (Structural Analytical Synthetic) that can improve beginning reading and improved reading skills beginning first grade elementary school students. This research uses classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results include: the use of measures SAS method can work well and improve the I grade read the beginning of elementary school. Background problem in this research is the low reading skills of students who do not reach KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) established by the school which is 72 to 21 the number of students who do not reach KKM 11 students (52.3%) and who completed 9 students (42, 8%). Based on the problem, the researchers conducted a PTK using SAS. In using this method, the quality of the learning process has increased. Based on data from this study can be seen from the observation of student activity in the first cycle with a percentage of 60% the first meeting enough categories, 75% meeting II both categories increased in the second cycle to 80% in the first meeting either category, and 95% meeting II category very well. Activities of teachers also increased from 75% in both categories dipertemuan I, 80% II meeting both categories in the first cycle and to 85% with very good category at the first meeting and 90% II meeting with the category very well in the second cycle. Preliminary data as the basis of a score of 21 students averaged 67.07, and the first cycle increased to 68.72 (2.46%), on the second cycle increased to 80.80 (20.47%). From the above data it can be concluded by applying SAS can improve the results of the reading skills of students of class I SDN 88 Pekanbaru. Keywords: beggining reading skill. SAS method

Abstrack : This research at performs since its low usufruct IPA'S studying student brazes V SDN 002 I. Beauteous Waters one has reached KKM (Minimum thoroughness criterion) one that is established which is 65. Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the low grade of fifth grader’s science learning in SDN 67 Pekanbaru, seen from minimum criteria of mastery that defined by school policy is 75. 15 students of 27 in total did not achieve minimum criteria, with average grade value is 61,30. This condition is caused by the teacher learning method is lack of variaton. Beside, teacher does not use creative media in learning process. Those things make students lack of motivation and barely understand what they learn. Due to these issues, the action taken is cooperative learning with hidden chart media. The purpose of this research is to improve students’ science grade. The form of this research is a class action research. The subjects are VC class students in SDN 67 Pekanbaru, consist of 27 students; 16 male and 11 female. Research instruments are test sheets, teacher and students observation sheets, and documentation files. The results showed improvement from each cycle. Teacher’s activities in first cycle was 70,83%, and increase to 79,17%. In second cycle was 91,67%, and increase to 95,83. Students’ activities in first cycle was 62,50%, and increase to 75%. In second cycle was 83,33%, and increase to 87,50%. Students’ average grade showed improvement too. Base grade was 61,30; increased to 72,15 on first test, and increased to 79,41 on second test. Based on these results, can be concluded that application of cooperative learning with hidden chart media can improve students’ science grade of VC class in SDN 67 Pekanbaru.Keyword : Cooperative learning, hidden chart media, science grade.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve learning outcomes IPA of class IV Elementary School 016 Talang Pring Jaya in the academic year 2014/2015. This study is a Class Action Research (Classroom Actions Research), which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects in this class IV Elementary School 016 Talang Pring Jaya as many as 20 students. Based on the results of research and data analysis known that an increase in the percentage of teachers in the first cycle of activity by 70% with sufficient qualifications, increased in the second cycle to 92.5% with excellent qualifications. There is a difference between an increase of 22.5%. The percentage of student activity in the first cycle of 62.5% with sufficient qualifications, increased in the second cycle to 92.5% with excellent qualifications. There is a difference between a 30% increase. In addition, improving student learning outcomes by using a learning model concept maps are a base score (57.75), UH 1 (70.75), UH 3 (88). With the number of students who completed prior to the implementation of the learning model concept maps are 9 people (45%). And after application of learning models of concept maps, one cycle increased to 10 people (50%), and the second cycle increased again to all students 20 people (100%). For that reason, it can be concluded that the application of the learning model concept maps can enhance student learning outcomes of class IV Elementary School 016 Talang Pring Jaya.Keywords : Learning Model Concept Maps, IPA Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research was mathematic learning outcomes in fourth grade (IV) students SDN 004 Petapahan still low with average value 60,14 (with KKM 70). The purpose of this research was to improve mathematic learning outcomes of the fifth grade (V) students SDN 004 Petapahan with the implementation of cooperatif’s make a match type learning model. This research was classroom action research with two cycles. The subjects were students of class V SDN 004 Petapahan academic years 2015/2016 which amounted to 36 people consisting of 16 women and 20 men. Based on the result a discussion the observation of teacher’s and student activity sheet seen rising each meeting. Teacher’s activity with the implementation of cooperatif’s make a match type learning model at first meeting of first cycle was 61,67% (good), and second meeting was 70,00% (good). At second cycle, teacher’s activity at first meeting was 80,00% (good) and second meeting was 93,33% (very good). Students activities at first meeting of first cycle was 53,33% (enough) and second meeting was 63,33% (good). At second cycle, students activities at first meeting was 68,33% (good), second meeting was 78,33% (very good). Mathematic learning outcomes before implementation cooperatif’s make a match type learning model average 60,14, after implementation of cooperatif’s make a match type learning model UH I was 62,50 that improve 3,92%, UH II was 71,91 that improve 19,41%. Abstract

Abstract : This study is based on the low learning outcomes of students especially on subjects IPS. This happens because at the time of the learning process students are less interested with the material being taught because the teacher is still using lecture methods and less conducive class circumstances, less lighting, slightly narrow and less well organized that makes students become bored and unmotivated to learn. The application of quantum teaching model is expected to be influential in improving students' IPS learning outcomes. This research is a research with quasi experimental method with nonequivalent control group design. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the application of quantum teaching model to the learning outcomes of IPS students of class III State Elementary School 110 Pekanbaru in the experimental class and to know the difference in learning outcomes of IPS students of third grade students of Elementary School 110 Pekanbaru between experimental class and control class. This research was conducted in SD Negeri 110 Pekanbaru with class IIIA as control class treated with ordinary learning and class IIIB as experimental class treated by applying quantum teaching model. The result of the research shows that there is influence of the application of quantum teaching model to IPS learning result and there are difference of IPS learning achievement between experimental class and control class. In the experimental class there was an increase in IPS learning outcomes from the pretest average of 61.91 to 75.58 in the posttest test with an average gain of 0.38 medium category. While the control class had an increase of 62.05 on pretest to 67.64 in the final test (postest) with an average gain of 0.12 low category. In this research, it is known that there is influence of the application of quantum teaching model is strong enough to the learning result of IPS of third grade students of State Elementary School 110 Pekanbaru in experiment class with coefficient of determination 0,53. The quantum teaching model influences the IPS learning result by 53.29% while the other 46.71% is influenced by other factors, it can come from inside the students (intern) and from outside the students themselves (extern).Key Word : Quantum Teaching Model, IPS Learning Result

Abstract

Abstract: One of factor that influence low students achievement that was students hard to understand math material subject. Students do not understand the concepts in a material. That's why the author need to did the research by Probing Prompting. This learning technique is able to able to improve direct communication with teachers in developing new knowledge that can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes, especially on the material properties of flat wake. The main objective of this study is to examine the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes among students who obtain Probing Prompting learning through techniques with students who got conventional learning. This research was conducted in SDN 184 Pekanbaru in class Vb as the control class and class Va as a class experiment with using the method Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Result data were analyzed using t test with significance level α = 0.05. The results of the data analysis, based on the t-test average difference thitung = 1.946 with ttable = 1.995 and students achievement in the experimental class earned an average of 59.4 became 83.05 on the average score of the posttest. While the control group gained an average of pretest of 58.5 become to 76.9 from an average of the posttest. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the average at the beginning of the test and the final test. Correlational test can be obtained from r = 0.655, the value of the correlation coefficient determinant (r2) was 0.43 meaning that the effect of applying the technique Probing Prompting the mathematics students achievement is 43% while 57% are influenced by other factors contained in the self and the environment these students. The result of this research showed that there was different average from both of classes but based on statistic there was no difference toward increase students achievement math between students who got Probing Prompting learning techniques with students who got conventional learning.Keywords: Technique Probing Prompting, Students Achievement

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the fact that the learning outcomes of students in science subjects low it can be seen from the symptoms is of 20 students, 12 people or 61% of students do not reach KKM set is 65. As many as 12 people or 63% of students no homework the teacher. When given exercises 13 people or 66% of students do with cheating, of 10 test questions only 5 to 6 questions answered correctly. The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 020 Padang Mutung by implementing cooperative learning model type group investigation. This research is a classroom action research conducted in Class IV 020 SD Negeri Padang Mutung Kampar District Kampar District, Riau Province. Research instruments consisted of a Learning Tool used in this research is guided by the Education Unit Level Curriculum (SBC), known as Curriculum 2006 learning device consists of a syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets and observation sheet. Based on data analysis of student activity first meeting sikuls I average student activity 54% with the classification of "High Enough" at the second meeting of the average activity increased to 62% with the classification of "High Enough" At the third meeting of the second cycle the average student activity 75 % on the classification of "High" and the fourth meeting increased compared with the previous meetings by an average of 83% of student activity with the classification of "Very High". In the first cycle, it is known that the number of students who reached the KKM is 15 students (75%) of 20 students. Improved student learning outcomes in the first cycle to reach (33%). In the second cycle, the number of students who reached the KKM amounted to 17 (85%) of 20 students. This means that an increase in student science learning outcomes of the first cycle. Abstract

Abstract : The purposes of research were to improve student’s study result of social sciences by implementation cooperative learning student facilitator and explaining type. The background of the problem in this research was the poor students’ achievements in social sciences, it can be seen on students’ social sciences scores. There were 17 of 30 students who had not achieved the Achievement Standard (56.67%), while the ones who achieved were only 13 students (43.33%), and the average scores of the class was 63.83. The Achievement Standard that school determines is 70. The method of research was classroom action research implemented in two cycles that consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected by observation technigue, test technigue and documentary technigue. The instrument of data collection used observation sheet and test student’s result . At the first meeting in cycle I, the percentage of teachers’ activity was 62.50% which is categorized as good. At the second meeting, the percentage increased to 75.00% which is categorized as good. At the first meeting in cycle I, the percentage increased to 83.33% that is categorized as very good. At the second meeting the percentage increased to 95.83% which is categorized as very good. The students’ activities had increased. At the first meeting in cycle I, the students’ activities gained 58.33% which is categorized as enough, while at the second meeting in cycle I the students’ activities gained 62.50% which is categorized as good.At the first meeting of cycle II, the percentage increased to 87.50% that is categorized as very good, while at the second meeting the percentage increased to 91.67% which is categorized as very good. The average of students’ achievements before the implementation cooperative learning student facilitator and explaining type was 63.83 which increased to 71.83 in cycle I, and increased again to 83.67 in cycle II. The result of research showed that implementation cooperative learning student facilitator and explaining type can improve student’s result of social sciences.Key Words: Study Result,Cooperative Learning Student Facilitator and Explaining Type, social sciences
