Abstract

This paper analyzes the lesson study-based school principal academic supervision model to improve the pedagogical competence of teachers at SDN Cipanengah CBM Sukabumi by using a qualitative descriptive research method. The research was conducted by analyzing the stages of Plan, Do, and See. The research begins with interviews and field observations. Planning indicators are 1) identifying plans, 2) formulating objectives and output criteria, 3) compiling schedules, 4) reviewing instruments, 5) carrying out supervision, 6) carrying out supervision of learning outcome assessments, 7) analyzing results, 8) designing the provision of feedback, 9) preparing follow-up planning, and 10) preparing supervision reports. Indicators of implementation and observation are 1) reviewing device administration, 2) reviewing the implementation plan, 3) carrying out supervision, and 4) carrying out assessment supervision of learning outcomes. Indicators of reflection include 1) assessment supervision observation, 2) analysis, 3) academic supervision data analysis, and 4) follow-up. Management of academic supervision is indispensable to increasing teachers’ pedagogical competence. Based on the results of interviews and field observations, it is found that nearly 75.63% had sufficient criteria in making administration of learning tools and carrying out assessment activities.

Abstract

This paper describes the use of ChatGPT in learning. The research is a qualitative descriptive study with a case study at SMA Negeri 1 Sukabumi in West Java Province Indonesia. The research begins with a survey, which involves the distribution of questionnaires to 13 learning subject teachers in grade 10 and 69 tenth-grade students who were selected randomly. The questionnaire results were analyzed as a basis for further research, including in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. Classroom observations were carried out on two teachers who have implemented learning using ChatGPT. To deepen the results of the observations, interviews were distributed to the two teachers and three students who were randomly selected from the observed classes. The research findings indicate that learning using ChatGPT can assist teachers in preparing and directing students in the teaching and learning process. With teacher guidance, students are expected to gain knowledge more comprehensively and deeply byasking specific questions that align with learning objectives. The teacher’s competence to guide students in the use of ChatGPT in terms of n achieving learning objectives determines the achievement of learning outcomes from each student. ChatGPT, as one of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, offers new challenges in the field of education. The research in this paper provides insights into how this AI technology can be utilized in classroom learning

Abstract

This paper discusses a type of Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is based on the low students’ Mathematics learning outcomes of students in class V.B at SD Negeri 112 Palembang. The purpose of this research is to improve students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The techniques used to collect data were observation, tests, and documentation. The initial condition of the research showed that the percentage of students’ learning completeness was only 10.34% (Very Less), which subsequently increased in the first cycle to 55.17% (Sufficient). Students’ learning outcomes further improved in the second cycle, with the percentage of learning completeness reaching 89.66% (Very Good). The results indicate that the application of the PBL model in learning has a significant effect on improving students’ learning outcomes in class V.B, particularly on the topic of the volume of cubes and beams. Thus, the PBL model can be considered one of the effective learning models for improving students’ learning outcomes, especially when it continues to be examined and adapted in line with educational developments.

Abstract

This paper reports the improvement of teacher competence in a teacher work programme at elementary schools in the Tambang Sub-District, Kampar, through the Numbered Heads Together method based on the background of the problem. Hence, the formulation of the problem is: “Can the Numbered Heads Together method increase elementary school teacher competence at SD Tambang Sub-District in Kampar?” The research employed a School Action Research (SAR) design using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which follows a spiral cycle from one phase to the next. The research subjects were elementary school teachers in the Tambang Sub-District of Kampar. The number of classroom teachers involved as research subjects was 12, along with school principals at SD in the Tambang Sub-District of Kampar. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the Numbered Heads Together method can improve teacher competence. Through the implementation of the Numbered Heads Together method, teachers’ activities became more active, and teachers tended to show positive attitudes in participating in the teaching and learning process conducted by the researcher. In Cycle I, the teachers’ teaching competence was categorized as good, with an average score of 70.29. Meanwhile, in Cycle II, the teachers’ teaching competence increased to an average score of 79.52, which was classified as very good.

Abstract

his paper discusses the improvement of Civic Education learning outcomes of the first-grade students by applying Two Stay Two Stray as a cooperative learning model at SDN 008 Bandur Picak in Kampar, which was conducted for 1 month. The research subjects were 22 first-grade students. The type of research is classroom action research. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model type can improve the first-grade students’ learning outcomes in the Civic Education learning subject at SDN 008 Bandur Picak in Kampar. It can be seen from changes in students’ learning outcomes in cycle 1 and cycle 2. In cycle 1, the average score of students’ learning outcomes was 70.9 incomplete category and increased in cycle 2 to 82.5 in the complete category. Based on the performance indicators, the research is considered to be successful if learning completeness reaches 75% of all students. It is because applying the Two Stay Two Stray provides opportunities for students to exchange experiences and knowledge. Hence, students understanding of the subject matter increases and can improve their learning outcomes in turn which the researchers so far have never applied the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model.

Abstract

The background of the research in this paper is the low social competence of School Principals at the Public Elementary Schools of Kampar Kiri Tengah sub-districts in Kampar. It can be seen from the initial survey conducted by the researchers. Most teachers, apparently, had not made collaboration either individually or in groups in improving schools. The type of research is School Action Research. Based on the results of the data presentation and discussion, it can be concluded that giving rewards can improve the social competence of School Principals at the Public Elementary Schools of Kampar Kiri Tengah sub-districts in Kampar. In terms of the aspect of giving rewards delivered by tutors, it is seen that from cycle I the score increased in cycle II. If in cycle I the percentage score was 74% and in cycle II it was subsequently higher by getting a percentage score of 86%. In the aspect of the School Principal’s social competence, the percentage score in the first cycle was 58.1% with the sufficient category and in the second cycle, it increased to 82.4% with the good category. It means that the improvement of the School Principal’s social competence through giving rewards at public elementary schools of Kampar Kiri Tengah sub-districts in Kampar is considered to be successful.

Abstract

This research is a class action research (CAR) conducted in class V SDN 112 Palembang. This research was conducted in class V A with a total of 25 students consisting of 12 boys and 13 girls. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of students on the science content of the material of the effect of heat on changes in the forn of objects by using the problem based learning model in class V A SDN 112 Palembang. Data collection techniques in this research used test and nontest. I the form of observation and documentation. Pre-cycle results with KKM 70, the acquisition of scores obtained by students is still a lot below KKM, <70 there are 21 students and there are 4 completed students. Based on the results of this research, the action on cycle 1 using the model problem based learning has reached the KKM score of 64% of all student with an average of 70.8. Aplication of cycle 2 increased to 96% with an average of 90.8. This suggest that the application of the problem based learning model in the science content of the material of the effect of calor on changes in the form of objects in the class V A at SDN 112 Palembang can improve the learning outcomes.
