Abstract

Abstract The background of this research is the finding of problems that arise in the content of mathematics lessons in class IV.A of SD Negeri 112 Palembang. The problem is the low mathematics learning outcomes in fractional material. The reason is that learning still uses the lecture method. The corrective action chosen is the application of the problem-based learning model. The subjects of this study were 42 class IV.A students at SD Negeri 112 Palembang. Data collection techniques using observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative descriptive approach and descriptive statistics. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, with the results of the research showing that the application of the problem-based learning model to the mathematics lesson content had a positive impact on student learning outcomes. The increase in student learning outcomes can be seen from the percentage increase in cycle I by 57%, then it increased in cycle II by 83%. Thus this research can be said to be successful in improving student learning outcomes through the application of problem-based learning models. Abstract

Implementing learning aligned with the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach is a method enabling a more accurate comprehension and representation of knowledge, tailored to students' individual learning tendencies and styles, while considering the diverse cultures surrounding them. Transitioning from the old paradigm to adopting learning in accordance with the demands of the 21st century and the current curriculum is imperative, despite the uneven distribution of the Independent Curriculum across schools. This study is prompted by students' lack of interest in learning, evident in their limited engagement in the learning process. The objective of this research is to illustrate the impact of employing differentiated learning with a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach on enhancing students' learning interest. The research methodology employed was classroom action research conducted over two cycles. The research process was executed collaboratively, employing a lesson study approach and utilizing qualitative descriptive methods, with data collection techniques comprising observation and questionnaires. Research findings demonstrate an increase in students' learning interest through the implementation of differentiated learning with a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. This is evidenced by the average N-Gain value for learning interest in Cycle I, which was 0.4029, classified as medium, and in Cycle II, it reached 0.7014, classified as high. Thus, differentiated learning integrating the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach has been proven highly effective in establishing a more inclusive and meaningful learning atmosphere within the classroom

Abstract

Learning based on local wisdom, especially in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, has not yet established a curriculum. It is necessary to carry out education based on local wisdom as an increase in knowledge, integrating a sense of love for the local wisdom of the area, and equipping students with manners and attitudes compared to the values and regulations that apply around or in the size of the students. Therefore, the development of teaching materials based on local wisdom was carried out. The purpose of this study was to produce a product, determine the validity, and determine the practicality of developing teaching materials based on local wisdom in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, with the sub-theme of the uniqueness of where I live at SDN 1 Lebung Batang. Model development uses a 4D model with 3D modifications (Define, Design, Develop). The result of the research is a product of thematic teaching materials. Then, the validation results show very valid criteria. Furthermore, the results of development testing on 16 students showed very practical achievements. These results show that the teaching materials developed focusing on Ogan Komering Ilir Regency's local wisdom are feasible and can be used in elementary school learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of low learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 112 Palembang in science learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes by implementing the Problem Based Learning model based on TPACK. This research was conducted in semester 1 of the 2024/2025 academic year with 25 fifth grade students as research subjects. The research was conducted in 2 cycles, with 4 meetings using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis in its data analysis. Observation, documentation and tests are the techniques used in collecting research data. The success criteria set for learning outcomes refer to the Minimum Completeness Criteria, which is 70. The pre-cycle obtained a percentage of learning outcome completion of only 24%. The 1st meeting in cycle I increased to 52% and increased at the 2nd meeting of cycle I to 72%. The 1st meeting of cycle II increased again with the percentage of completion reaching 84% then at the 2nd meeting of cycle II the completion became 100%. The results are in the form of conclusions that show that the TPACK-based PBL model can improve student learning outcomes.
