Abstract

The background of this study was the low student learning outcomes of PPKn, from 28 students who achievedthe completeness criteria at least only 11 students (39.29%). The low student learning outcomes are caused bythe high level of individuality between students so that the achievement of competence among studentsexperiences a very distant difference. Based on this, the researchers made improvements to student learningoutcomes through the application of STAD cooperative learning models. This research is a classroom actionresearch, with the subject of class VII of SMP Negeri 3 Teluk Kuantan. The data used in this study is PPKnlearning outcomes data. The results stated that after applying the STAD type cooperative learning model studentlearning outcomes had increased in the initial data the number of students who completed were 11 students, incycle I had an increase with the number of 18 students, and in cycle II the number of students who completedcontinued to increase by the number 22 student.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to find out the correlation between classroom management and mathematics learning outcomes of 5th grade students of elementary school cluster 1, Marpoyan Damai Sub-district, Pekanbaru. This is a qualitative research which applies korelasional method. The samples of this research are teachers and 5th grade students chosen by using snowball sampling technique. The data were collected by using observation sheet, interview guidelines, and documentation. Meanwhile, the students’ mathematics learning outcomes data were taken from mathematics average score of 5th grade students. The data were analyzed through three steps namely; data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing and verifying. According to data analysis, it was found out that there were correlation between classroom management and mathematics learning outcomes where it could be seen from the increasing of students’ average score. Hence, it can be stated that teachers had fulfilled the principle of classroom management. Teachers also had implemented the factors that influence classroom management quite well. However, it could not be denied that there was still sub-indicator that teachers could not implement such as inappropriate space of classroom management. Based on research results, it can be concluded that the better the classroom management is implemented, the better the students’ mathematics learning outcomes will be.

The results of the study show that on the basic score, teacher teaching skills are included in the sufficient category with an average score of 60.21. After improvements were made in the first cycle, the results of the teacher's skills assessment increased to a good category with the teacher's average score of 75.54. For the implementation of the teacher's skills assessment in teaching in the second cycle again increased with a very good category with an average value of 85.75. Based on the results of the above research, researchers can conclude that with the implementation of supervision in Bandar Laksamana 1 Junior High School can improve teacher skills in teaching.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a valid and practical Socio-Scientific Issue (SSI) based student worksheet (LKPD) on grade VII science learning in junior high school.  There are three issues discussed, namely the issue of Unlicensed Gold Mining (PETI) in Kuansing, the issue of waste and the issue of Forest and Land Fires (KARHUTLA). The development research method uses the Plomp model which consists of the preliminary research phase, the prototyping phase and the assessment phase. In the initial investigation phase, a needs analysis is carried out to see the importance of the issues used as the basis for the development of  LKPD. The LKPD prototype manufacturing stage was designed based on SSI with validation by experts consisting of lecturers and teachers. Large group test assessment stage on 31 students to see the practicality of the prototype. LKPD validation results are very valid with an average score of 3.4, very practical with a score of 82.9% by the teacher and very practical 81.4% by students. It can be concluded that LKPD based on SSI is valid and practical to be applied in junior high school science learning.

Abstract

Learning process is a learning activity for students which can cause the changes of students’ behavior that also called as learning interest. Student learning interests affect student enthusiasm and activeness in the learning process. So students have high spirits to be able to improve learning outcomes. One of the learning models that can be used to increase students’ learning interest and learning outcomes in natural science subjects is the creativity learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of the creativity learning model on learning interest and learning outcomes of natural sciences in grade 5 students of Elementary School I Cluster Buleleng District. This research was a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent posttest only control group research design. The populations in this study were all fifth grade students of Elementary School I Cluster Buleleng District totaling 209 students. The sample of this research was the fifth grade students of SDN 1 Banyuning as an experimental group totaling 29 students and the fifth grade students of SDN 8 Banyuning as a control group totaling 30 students. This study used test and non-test methods, learning interest data were collected using a questionnaire and data on natural science learning outcomes were collected using essay tests. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and the MANOVA test. The average scores of the questionnaire for learning interest in the experimental group was 116.14 with "very good" category and the control group was 34.7 with "bad" category. Hypothesis test results showed F = 9582,776. The results of the study had a significance of 0,000 <0.05. Based on the analysis of these data H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there was an influence of the Creativity Learning model on learning interest and learning outcomes of natural sciences in grade 5 students of Elementary School I Cluster Buleleng District.

Abstract

This research is based on the low learning result of mathematics. This study aims to improve student learningoutcomes class I.A SD Negeri 019 Pandau Jaya Kecamatan Siak Hulu.. This research uses classroom actionresearch (PTK) with two cycles by using demontration method. Based on the result of the research, the students'absorption in Mathematics lessen significantly: Pratindakan replication is 62,00 (enough); in cycle I is 67,40(enough); and the result of cycle II is 72.20 (enough). The mastery of individual and classical learning increases;initial data 13 students 52.00% (unfinished); in cycle I is 20 students and 80.00% (unfinished); and in cycle II is 24students and 96.00% (complete). Thus it can be concluded that, the implementation of demonstration methodsmanaged to improve learning outcomes Mathematics class I.A SD Negeri 019 Pandau Jaya Kecamatan Siak Hulu.
