Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of science in grade V 015 SD Negeri Beringin Jaya.This study aims to improve the learning process to improve student learning outcomes. This research is aclassroom action research conducted at 015 Beringin Jaya Elementary School. The data used in this study aredata on teacher and student activity and student learning outcomes. The results obtained from the data were theteacher activity in the first cycle of the first meeting with a percentage of 52.5%, the second meeting with apercentage of 70.5%, in the second cycle at the third meeting the percentage of 80%, and at the meeting 4percentage obtained 91.5%. The observation data of students in this study obtained the percentage of the firstcycle of the 1st meeting was 57%, the second meeting was 73.5%, in the second cycle the third meeting was85%, and the fourth meeting was 96%. prove that student activity has increased. Data on the improvement ofstudent learning outcomes in class V SDN 015 Beringin Jaya District Sigingi Hilir in the initial data obtained anaverage of 63.5, in daily tests I obtained an average class of 72, and on the daily test II obtained an average of79 prove that the use of direct learning methods in science learning is effectively used in class V.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of learning activities in the akidah akhlah class IX MTs Al-MuttaqinPekanbaru. This study aims to improve the learning activities of morality through role reversal learningstrategies. The form of research is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were all students ofclass IX of MTs Al-Muttaqin Pekanbaru totaling 37 people. This research instrument consists of performanceinstruments and data collection instruments in the form of observation sheets of teacher activities and studentactivities. The results showed that the application of role revearsal questions learning strategies could increasethe activity of students in the Moral Akidah lesson as evidenced by an increase in learning activities prior to theaction to cycle I and cycle II. Before the actions are categorized as low with student learning activities a score of402 is in the very low category. And in the first cycle the first meeting got a score of 464 in the very low categoryand at the second meeting got a score of 643 in the low category. While at the first meeting the second cycle gota score of 782 in the high category and the second meeting increased with the acquisition of 928 in the very highcategory. And the success rate achieved is 89% or 928/1036 times 100 equals 89% of the total number ofstudents, meaning that almost all students have achieved predetermined success scores (minimum 75%). Basedon the results of the study, it can be concluded that the forwarding of role revearsal questions learning strategiescan improve the learning activities of the Akidah Akhlah subjects in grade IX MTs Al-Muttaqin Pekanbarustudents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes by applying the Type Three Stay One Stray (TSOS) Cooperative Learning Model. This research was conducted at 023 Public Primary School Pulau Kijang, Reteh District. This research is a classroom action research which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of action planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of the study show, seen from the initial data, students who completed as many as 6 people with a class average of 65. In the first cycle, there was an increase of an average of 71.3 and in the second cycle there was an increase with a class average of 86.4. Then there is an overall increase from the basic score to the second cycle of 21.4. while the number of students who completed in the first cycle were 9 people with a percentage of 64.2%, in the second cycle as many as 12 people with a percentage of 85.7%. the increase in the percentage of completeness from the basic score to the second cycle was 42.9%.

Abstract

Qualified teachers have a high work ethic and excellent work discipline. Work discipline is an attitude, action, and behavior according to the rules to obey all school rules based on the teacher's self-awareness. Facts in the field there are still teachers who ignore work discipline, such as teachers who are too late to come to school, teachers dress neatly, there are still teachers who have not prepared a teaching program before presenting material in front of the class, thus adversely affecting the learning process. The purpose of this research is to improve teacher work discipline through the role of the principal in SD 30 Mandau. The subjects of this study were all teachers in SD 30 Mandau, totaling 18 people. This type of research is the School Action Research. The research process consists of two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II, each cycle consisting of several stages, such as: 1) Planning; 2) Implementation; 3) Observations; and 4) Reflection. The results showed, in the first cycle, seen from the presence of teachers, from 18 teachers the average value of teachers was 72.4 after the second cycle increased to 94.5, an increase of 22.1%. Judging from the neatness of the teacher got an average value of 69.1, in the second cycle increased to 90.3 increased by 21.2%. Judging from the neatness the teacher got an average value of 60.8, in cycle II it increased to 91.0, an increase of 30.2%. Judging from the completeness of the administration the teacher gets an average value of 65.9, in the second cycle increased to 81.9, an increase of 16%, and seen from the process of implementing the learning of the teacher gets an average value of 68.4, in the second cycle increases to 91.4 increased by 23%. Can the researchers conclude that through the role of the principal can improve the work discipline of teachers in SD Negeri 30 Mandau

Abstract

This research conducted with the aim to determine differences in the effectiveness of the model of Discovery Learning and Problem Solving of problem-solving ability mathematics students of class IV primary school. The type of the research is quasi-experimental with the use of test prerequisites that consist of normality test and homogeneity. In this study, prerequisite test was conducted to determine normality and homogeinity. From the T test using Independent Samples Test showed t count > t table with value 7,113 > 2,007 with significance 0,000 < 0,05 that means Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Based on the results obtained there are differences in the effectiveness of significant. The results of the test N-Gain there is an increase after the treatment is given in the experimental class using the model of Discovery Learning by 0.40 and the control class there is an increase after a given model Problem Solving of 0.16. Based on these results, it showed that the model of Discovery Learning is more effective when compared with the Problem Solving model to increase problem solving ability in mathematics of students of class IV primary school.

Abstract

This study focused on an analysis of the verbal communication of peer counselors in performing online counseling services in the pandemic phase in Indonesia. This study utilized a qualitative research approach with analytical decriptive, referring to a method to obtain a view sistematically, factually, and accurately related to the facts and properties of the objects into which the research focused. Then, the results of the finding were analyzed and interpreted to draw conclusions. The online peer counseling services were performed by students of BK UNMA for 2 weeks. The services were available by using some social media. The online peer counseling services focused on interpersonal communication processes through communication channels. Results indicated that in performing online counseling services, the counselors used several verbal communication techniques, such as invitations to start, reception/showing understanding, reflection of mind, reflection of feelings, clarifications of messages, feedback, alternative presentations, inquiries, interpretations, diagnosis, supports/guidance, and suggestion. These techniques were performed based on the dominant issues the clients faced, which were related to self-confidence/insecure, and family and employment problems.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low of mathematics learning result of first grade student of SD Negeri 006 Terpadu Kubang Jaya. This is evidenced by the average of student learning outcomes is equal to 45.25 with good enough category, besides the total number of completed students is 13 students or 32.50%. Based on the result of the low learning result, the researcher conducted the class action research activity, by applying the learning method of the training ready to improve the students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 006 Terpadu Kubang Jaya, the subject of this research is the students of class I with the number of students 40. The stages of this research consist of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted two cycles. Data retrieval technique used is a test technique. The result of research indicated that after doing the action by applying the method of learning practice of learning to increase, in cycle I the total number of complete students is 13 students (32.50%) the average of the related learning outcomes is 61.25 with good category. In cycle II the number of completed students increased to 37 students (92,50%) with average value of learning value equal to 81,50 with very good category. Based on the results of learning on the second cycle of student learning outcomes that have been completed because of the classical completeness of students has reached 80.00.

Abstract

This research is motivated from the learning outcomes of class V SD Negeri 011 Desa Baru Kecamatan SiakHulu which is still very low. This study aims to improve learning outcomes penjaskes. From the data analysis,there is an increase of both teacher activity, student activity, and student learning result, that is teacher activityin meeting 1 cycle I percentage is 70% (high) and at second meeting increased to 80% (high). In the secondcycle of the third meeting the value of teacher activity from 80% (high) to 90% (very high) and at the fourthmeeting increased to 95% (very high). Judging from the activity of students also experienced an increase from65% (high) to 75% (high). In cycle II the third meeting becomes 85% (very high) and at the fourth meeting itincreases to 90% (very high). Judging from the result of student learning also experience improvement, fromstudent average score on base score that is 50,25 after cycle I student average score increased to 70,5 withincrease as much 20,25 point from base score. In the second cycle of student learning outcomes also increasedas much as 15.25 points from cycle I with average student's grade of 85.75. From the data analysis there is anincrease both from teacher activity, student activity, and student learning outcomes. It was concluded that theimplementation of the strategy of playing kangaroo jump (longu) can improve the learning outcomes of class VSD Negeri 011 Desa Baru Kecamatan Siak Hulu.

Abstract

The problem of classroom action research is the low learning outcomes of VC grade 164 students in Pekanbaru. This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes of VC grade 164 students in Pekanbaru by applying the cooperative method of numbered heads together (NHT). The results of the research and class actions of the Social Studies Course conducted at the VC class SDN 164 Pekanbaru students concluded; Learning outcomes in the first cycle have increased compared to conventional learning. Pre-cycle learning outcomes are an average of 50.25 or sufficient categories; in cycle I, learning outcomes reached an average of 71.75 or in the Good category; in cycle II it increased again by 80.25 or in the Good category; Prasiklus classical completeness is 10 students (25.00%.); the first cycle is 27 students (67.50%); and in the second cycle were 38 students (95.00%). Students who have not been completed are remedial. Observers observed that VC grade 164 students at Pekanbaru Pekanbaru seemed to understand the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Cooperative Method. They learn and understand shared material in heterogeneous groups of 4-5 students. Based on the results of improved learning studies, the application of the cooperative method of numbered heads together (NHT) succeeded in correcting the problem of the low social studies learning outcomes in VC Class SDN 164 Pekanbaru 2017/2018 Academic Year.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the demands of an era full of technology so that the learning process must shift from conventional learning to active learning that utilizes ICT in the learning process. The facts found in the field indicate that teachers do not use ICT in the learning process for difficult reasons, teachers do not have the competence to use ICT, and facilities that are less available. The purpose of this study is to improve teacher competence using information and communication technology in learning through clinical supervision. This research is a classroom action research which includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was carried out in the target schools of Pasir Penyu sub-district starting March 13 to April 30 2019 against 10 elementary school teachers. Data analysis using observation sheets that observe the actions of teachers using ICT in the learning process. The results showed an increase in teacher competency using ICT in the learning process with the percentage of the first cycle amounting to 57% with the medium category being 83% which included a very high category. Based on the results and discussion it can be concluded that the implementation of clinical supervision can help the teacher's problems in the use of ICT in the learning process.
