Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relation of leadership, communication to work climate and its effect on employees morale in National Civil Agency(BKN) Regional XII Pekanbaru partialy or joinly.The population of this study were all employeesof the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) Regional Office XII Pekanbaru totaling 94 employees.But based on job analysis in 2015 the ideal number of employees of each regional office is 90 employees. How to determine the number of samples by using the census method, so the sample number are 90 employees. Data analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS).The result of this study indicate that leadership and communication have a significant effect part to employees morale, but leadership through work climate does not have a significant effect on employees morale, and communication through work climate also have a significant effect to employees morale at the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) Regional Office XII Pekanbaru.

Abstract

The background of this research is the achievement of students 'economic learning which is still low and the students' economic achievement which is different in class X Madrasah AliyahNegeri Se Kampar Regency. Student learning achievement is still low by 65,4%, while female student equal to 51,9%. The still low and different learning achievement in this study is influenced by the learning motivation which is the internal factor, and the gender that is suspected of the tendency of different learning motivation and learning achievement of male and female students. This research aim to know the influence of learning motivation and gender to student achievement of class X Madrasah AliyahNegeri the Kampar regency.This research method using quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study were students of Madrasah Aliyah in Kampar regency with the number of 208 people with a total sample of 68 people with probability sampling technique with random sample sampling. Data obtained by observation and disseminate research questionnaire to the respondent. Data were analyzed by using descriptive percentage and statisticanalysis use multiple linear regression. Against the instrument tested the validity and reliability by using the alpha cronbach formula. The results showed that: 1) partially, there is a significant influence between the motivation of learning on student economic achievement with a t value of 6.443 sig. < 0.05. 2) Partially (chi square) there is no significant influence between gender on learning achievement with sig. > 0.05. the tendency of higher learning motivation of male students than female students. Similarly, the students' economic achievement tend to be higher than female students. 3) simultan, there is a significant influence of learning and gender motivation on economic learning achievement with multiple linear regression equation Y = 25,981 + 0,806X1 + -0,773X2 + ɛn. From result of F value equal to 20,821 with sig. 0,000 <0.05 means that learning and gender motivation has an influence on economic learning achievement. And a large contribution to the model by 39%. From these results can be concluded that to improve the achievement of economic learning can be done by improving students' learning motivation and not discriminate between male students or female students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of continuing high academic interest and the factors that influence it. The population of this study is the students of Class XII Secondary Education in KepenuhanSubsubdistrict as much 137 students. The research was conducted with a sample of 102 students the measurementwith Proportional Random Sampling technique, using questionnaires. The data analysis used in this research is quantitative descriptive and path analysis. The results of the research showed that generally the interest of continue to university students of grade XII Secondary Education in Kepenuhansubsubdistricthas highinterest (43.14%), even 34.31% in very high category. The interest is influenced by ambition factor, family environment and school environment with direct donations of 16.72%, 4.66%, 38.44%. While the indirect contribution of family environment and school environment to the interest through aspirations of each 3.09%, 32.14%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence student learning achievement. The population of this study is students of class VII State Junior High School in the Sub district of Tampan, Pekanbaru City as many as 1,091. Sampling using Proportional Random Sampling to obtain 296 students. Data collection using questionnaires and documents with a Likert scale both for exogenous variables namely learning achievement and for endogenous variables namely self-concept, learning facilities, and discipline of learning, as well as intervening variables that are motivational learning. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The analysis showed that self-concept, learning facilities, learning discipline had direct and significant influence on learning motivation. Self concept, learning facility, learning discipline and learning motivation have direct and significant effect on learning achievement. Self concept, learning facility, learning discipline have indirect effect on learning achievement through learning motivation. This shows that learning achievement can be improved if the quality of self-concept, learning discipline, learning facilities and learning motivation are improved.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation and class climate on students' entrepreneurial character. This research was conducted in Vocational School (SMK) Ekatama Pekanbaru. The population in this study were students of class X and class XI as many as 115 respondents by first passing an instrument test of 30 respondents. Data collection is done through a questionnaire. The method of analysis used is path analysis. The results in this study can be briefly explained as follows: 1) There is a significant influence between learning motivation on students' entrepreneurial character 2). There is a significant and positive influence between classroom climate on the entrepreneurial character of students, 3). Student climate and motivation to influence the character of entrepreneurship 4). There is an influence of student learning motivation through the classroom climate on entrepreneurial character. It can be concluded that the better the motivation to learn and the class climate, the better the entrepreneurial character of students at SMK Ekatama Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) type of cooperative learning model assisted with teaching materials in improving student learning outcomes in social studies subjects at State Junior High School (SMPN) 4 Pekanbaru. The sampling technique using cluster random sampling techniques, namely class VII.3 as the experimental class, and VII.4 as the control class. Data were analyzed using randomized control group pretest-posttest design through the results of the T Test (Different Test). Based on the results of the study showed the results of pre-test 73.95 and post-test of 85.19 with a difference of 11.24. In the pre-test control class was 73.84 and the post-test results were 79.78 with a difference of 5.94. From the results of this difference can be seen that there is an increase in learning outcomes, especially in the experimental class where there are differences in completeness of learning outcomes between the control class and the experimental class. This is also supported by students' learning attitudes in the experimental class (VII.3) which are categorized as "good" (68%) in the learning process. Whereas in the control class, students have the category "quite good" (45.94%) in being following the learning process. The level of learning effectiveness is 5.30. Overall it can be concluded that the NHT learning model is assisted with effective teaching materials significantly in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the environmental conditions and their influence directly and indirectly on the success of student learning in high schools in Kampar Timur Subdistrict. The data used consists of primary and secondary data. The data is collected using questionnaires and documents. The study population was 567 high school students in Kampar Timur Subdistrict with a sample of 235 students taken by proportional random sampling. The analytical method used is path analysis. The results of the analysis show that family environment and community environment variables directly influence the school environment by 13.54% and 4.58%. Then the variable school environment, family environment and community environment affect the success of learning. The direct effect of the school environment on learning success is 24.70%. While the total direct and indirect influence of the family environment is 12.82% and the community environment is 4.84%.

Abstract

Teachers are educating leaders in the class. They need to have professional and pedagogy competence in order to make learning process effectively in class. This research was done to know the differences between teacher professional competence and teacher pedagogy competence which certificated or uncertificated on learning process that has been done.This research has been done in November-March 2018. The sample was all teachers in SMP Kecamatan Pulau Burung which are 84 teachers. The data was collected by using differencial scale questionare to test the competences. The data analisys technique is descriptive and Independent sampel T-Test. The research findinfa are:1) after doing the T-Test, there is a significant difference on certificated teacher pedagogy: (a) certificated teacher pedagogy competence has got the higher score toward the indicator of doing educated and dialog learning (80,54%). (b) The lowest score is at the indicator of the used of learning (60,54%). (c) Uncertificated teacher pedagogy competence has got the higher score at the sub competence or educated learning (77,02%). (d) For the lowest score is at the indicator of the use of learning technology(46,80%).2) Uncertificated teacher professional competence, after taking the T-Test, showed that there is not any difference between certificated and uncertificated teacher. (a) Certificated teacher has got the higher score at the indicator of understanding and implementing learning theory to the right level of students attitude development (81,08%). (b) it got the lowest score at the indicator of the ability to use ani kind of facilities, medias, and other learning sources effectively (57,37%). (c) Uncertificated teacher professional competence has got the highest score at the indicator of the ability to create students personality (80,45%). (d) and the lowest score is (57,44%) at the indicator of implementinf the right learninf method.

Abstract

Service to the public entitled "Guidance processing of fish waste baung into fish oil in Sei Paku Village, Kampar Kiri, Kampar District, Riau Province "has been carried out for 4 months in order to: 1) provide understanding and insight to the participants extension that baung fish waste can be processed into fish oil. 2) Giving briefing to the participants on the techniques of fish waste processing into fish oil. 3) To motivate participants to conduct business based processed fish waste products to supplement the family income. 4) Maintaining the quality and quantity of fish oil products produced in order to penetrate the wider market. 5) Provide new jobs. 6) Realize blue economy. Blue Economy is an economic concept that will be developed in Sei Paku to the challenging of environmentally destructive economic system, the damage caused by the presence of fish processing waste baung released into the environment. Interest extension with the motto of Blue Economy is no waste is wasted, meaning that all fishery products including waste can be utilized to improve the welfare of the community. Method of activities undertaken to achieve the goal of community service are lectures, discussions, consultations and practical demonstrations directly manufacture baung fish waste into fish oil. Counseling is done four stages starting with preparation for the month of August 2016, the implementation in September 2016, the establishment of a business group in October 2016, evaluation and monitoring in November 2016. As a result, at the end of public education can already take advantage of the technology is taught and business groups has been formed to start a business based on fish waste to increase the family income at the same time realizing the BlueEconomy

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the influence of parents’ socio-economic status on learning achievement through learning motivation of high school student at Subdistrict Kuantan Tengah. The population in this study was all high school students majoring in Social Science with the total of 426 students. Meanwhile, the total sample of this study was 206 students. The data were collected by using questionnaires. After that, the data were analyzed by using quantitative descriptive and path analysis. The results showed that the variables of parents’ socio-economic status had a significant influcence on learning achievement (directly), and it had a significant influence learning achievement through learning motivation (not directly) of high school students at Subdistrict Kuantan Tengah.
