Abstract

This activity was carried out on October 21, 2021 in Tanjung Sangalang and Penda Barania Villages, to provide information to the community in the balangeran revegetation activity and also to conduct a plot demonstration to provide examples of how to increase the growth of Shorea balangeran. As villages that is included in a peat area which is needed to be restorated by the Ministry of the Environment, therefore, the activity that can be developed in both villages was the revegetation of the balangeran plant. The revegetation of the balangeran plant was chosen as one of the Community Work Plans (RKM) in order to restore damaged peatlands in both areas. The unsuccessful revegetation of the balangeran plant carried out by the people in the two villages was caused by the lack of insight and knowledge of the community regarding the proper revegetation system to support the growth of the balangeran plant. Making mounds is one way that can be applied in order to maintain the viability of the balangeran plants in flooded environmental conditions. Balangeran plants that live in flooded areas with a mound system still show good growth. The villages of Tanjung Sangalang and Penda Barania are villages that are often inundated due to floods. To increase the success of revegetation of the balangeran plant, which is a local peat swamp plant and has a high economic value, the planting of balangeran with a mound system is the right system to be applied to the two villages. The training on making mounds in the two villages went smoothly which was attended by the community from representatives of each village.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Atas  adalah salah satu bentuk pendidikan formal yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keimanan dan ketakwaan, hidup sehat, memperluas pengetahuan dan seni, memiliki keahlian dan keterampilan, menjadi anggota masyarakat yang bertanggung jawab, serta mempersiapkan peserta didik untuk mengikuti pendidikan lebih lanjut. Dalam mendukung salah satu dari tujuan pendidikan nasional yaitu untuk mempersiapkan peserta didik (siswa-siswi SMA/SMK/MA Sederajat) maka Program Studi Ilmu Kelautan Universitas OSO akan melakukan sosialisasi dan promosi pada beberapa SMA di Kalimantan Barat secara daring. Sosiasialisasi akan dilakukan di Universitas OSO dengan menggunakan aplikasi zoom.  Peserta yang akan diundang adalah wakil dari siswa-siswi SMA/SMK/MA Sederajat dari kabupaten yang ada di Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan ketertarikan masyarakat khususnya siswa-siswi SMA/SMK/MA Sederajat agar dapat masuk ke Program Studi Ilmu Kelautan Universitas OSO.  Materi yang diberikan oleh tim pengabdian meliputi visi, misi, tujuan, sasaran, kurikulum Program Studi Ilmu Kelautan dan peluang kerja setelah menyelesaikan studi. Kegiatan sosialisasi promosi Program Studi Ilmu Kelautan dimasa pandemi Covid-19 dengan media daring berlangsung baik.

Abstract

Keterampilan menulis buku ilmiah sangat penting dimiliki oleh para guru karena memberikan banyak manfaat, baik untuk penulis itu sendiri maupun untuk intitusi. Bagi guru menulis buku ilmiah bisa digunakan untuk meningkatkan jenjang karir, menyebarkan ilmu secara lebih luas dan tentu citra positif bagi dirinya sehingga intitusi dimana guru tersebut mengajar akan mendapatkan manfaatnya juga. Sadar akan pentingnya hal ini, kepala Sekolah Madrasah Aliyah Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata 1 (Putri) Pamekasan mengundang pemateri untuk melakukan pengabdian di sekolah ini. Pengabdian ini berbentuk seminar dengan pesertanya adalah para guru putri (ustdzah) dengan minat dan kemampuan yang berbeda-beda dalam menulis buku ilmiah. Adapun materi yang disampaikan dalam pengabdian ini dibagi dua pembahahasan. Pertama membahas tentang tulisan ilmiah atau tulisan akademik. Kedua, pembahasannya lebih spesifik pada menulis buku ilmiah terutama buku ilmiah yang diterbitkan secara mayor.

Abstract

nterest is an impulse from within a person to do something with pleasure or pleasure without coercion from other parties. However, many students still have low interest in learning. This study was conducted to determine whether the application of group guidance services using the token economy technique can increase student interest in learning. This research is an experimental research, with a one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample was taken using a non-probability sampling technique so that there were eight students of class X MIPA-4 MAN Palangka Raya City were assigned as samples in this study. Data collection techniques in this study used by researchers are questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Then the researcher analyzed the data using parametric statistics from the Paired Samples Test (SPSS version 22 program) because the researcher's data were normally distributed. The author finally draws conclusions based on statistical results. The results showed that the calculation of the value of the paired t-test obtained was sig.2 tailed of 0.000 <0.05 with a t count of -7.072 which means the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. The alternative hypothesis in this study is that the application of group guidance services using the token economy technique can increase student interest in learning for class X MIPA-4 MAN Palangka Raya City. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of group guidance services using the token economy technique can increase student interest in learning for class X MIPA-4 MAN Palangka Raya City for the 2020/2021 academic year.

Abstract

This activity has been done in collaboration with Kelompok Pengolah dan Pemasar (Poklahsar) Berkah Gawi Hapakat. Food processed product produced by the group are abon ikan gabus, abon ikan patin, amplang ikan tenggiri, stik ikan pipih, empek-empek and otak-otak ikan tenggiri. As a new group, Poklahsar Berkah Gawi Hapakat needs assistance in the application of standard sanitation concepts, especially food, water, equipment, worker and environmental sanitations to obtain products that are safe for consumption and in accordance with food safety quality standards. In this activity, assistance was carried out by applying the concept of standard sanitation through the dissemination of the sanitation activity to obtain products that are in accordance with consumer demands and food safety quality assurance standards. The response of the group to this activity is quite positive because they share knowledge about sanitation which can affect the products produced and can attract consumers because raw materials to products are handled by taking into account good processing standards (Good Manufacturing Practices/GMP). Especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, many products are marketed by online, or through social media.

Abstract

Salah satu penyumbang tingginya angka pengangguran terbuka adalah terus meningkatnya angka lulusan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) tidak melanjutkan studi ke Perguruan Tinggi (PT). Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri 1 Kabaruan Talaud merupakan salah satu penyumbang tingginya angka pengangguran terbuka lulusan yang tidak melanjutkan studi ke PT dan tidak bekerja. Oleh karena itu sangat diperlukan pembekalan lulusan dengan kompetensi tambahan agar dapat menciptakan lapangan kerja sendiri antara lain dengan menanamkan jiwa kewirausahaan kepada siswa sebelum menamatkan pendidikan di SMA melalui Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM). Kegiatan PKM ini ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan jiwa kewirausahaan di SMA Negeri 1 Kabaruan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kombinasi metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah atau Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan pendekatan Pendidikan Kecakapan Hidup (Life Skill) berwirausaha tani-ternak terintegrasi dengan mengintroduksi budidaya tanaman pangan (sayuran, kacang tanah, dan jagung serta ternak ayam). Hasil kegiatan PKM ini adalah sebagai berikut; (1) terfasilitasi upaya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan berwirausaha tani ternak terinegrasi pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Kabaruan Talaud, (2) terfasilitasi satu kegiatan Pendidikan Life Skill wirausaha tani-ternak terintegrasi sebagai media pembelajaran biologi dan berwirausaha, (3) Adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada siswa dalam berwirausaha tani-ternak terintegrasi (4) Dihasilkan Rancangan Pembelajaran Biologi dan Kewirausahaan dengan metode Problem Based Learning dan pendekatan pendidikan Life Skills.

Abstract

Dalam rangka membantu untuk merencanakan pengeleloaan di bidang pendidikan khususnya penataan persebaran sekolah, dipandang perlu memanfaatkan sistem informasi geografis (SIG). Untuk membangun SIG diperlukan data utama yaitu data spasial (peta) dan data atribut (statistik). Kedua jenis data harus tersedia secara bersama-sama untuk memberikan informasi yang akurat. Masalah yang muncul bagaimana mentransformasikan kondisi real ke domain SIG, bagaimana manajemen datanya, dan bagaimana membangun aplikasi SIG yang bermanfaat sebagai salah satu unsur penunjang dalam pengambilan keputusan. Pemetaan tersebut dibuat dalam bentuk SIG untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai persebaran data sekolah dengan cepat, akurat, dan dapat diakses oleh siapa saja, dimana saja, kapan saja tanpa mengenal jarak dan waktu. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah membangun suatu sistem bank data terutama data pendidikan yang terkonsentrasi dalam satu sistem yang terintegrasi dengan semua format data lainnya, sehingga data spasial dapat di setting untuk terkorelasi dengan data grafis, data tekstual, data tabel, data foto dan data semua prasarana dan sarana pendidikan tersebut dikaitkan dengan kebutuhan akan prasarana dan sarana lainnya. Hasil yang diharapkan melalui kegiatan ini adalah berbentuk laporan pemetaan persebaran sekolah disertai dengan rekomendasi tentang jumlah dan penentuan sebaran lokasi pembangunan dan atau renovasi sekolah maupun ruang dalam rangka menunjang program pemerataan dan perluasan akses pendidikan dasar dan menengah bagi penduduk Kabupaten Mempawah.

Abstract

Mental health is a form of balance between mental functions and the creation of adjustments between humans and themselves and their surroundings. Awareness of the importance of mental health, especially in Indonesia, is still very low, people should educate each other to increase understanding and knowledge and awareness of mental health. So that real work lecture activities are carried out which are community service activities in certain areas with the aim of helping the community in increasing the level of knowledge and skills with the hope of increasing people's welfare. The implementation of this service is in Sungai Rengas Village, Sungai Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan Province with a program that places more emphasis on the theme of mental health. The programs carried out include providing education to the children of Rengas Hamlet, assisting in the implementation of Posyandu, planting family medicinal plants (TOGA), exercising & playing with children, and making aromatherapy candle products from used cooking oil. In general, community service activities in Sungai Rengas Village went very well and smoothly. This is because the enthusiasm of the community is very good, so that the implementation runs smoothly and what we hope is that these programs can be of benefit to the local community.

Abstract

The younger generation is said to be the backbone of the country and the future of the nation is said to be in the hands of the younger generation. The large number of adolescent populations resulted in the emergence of juvenile delinquency problems. Adolescence is a period of transition, which is a phase of development between childhood and adulthood. The main problem of adolescents in general is the search for identity. They have an identity crisis. This is a problem for every teenager. Therefore, they often have the urge to present themselves as a separate group. However, this encouragement often leads teenagers to serious problems, one of which is drug use. Drugs or narcotics is an abbreviation of Narcotics, Alcohol, Psychotropics and Addictive Substances. Narcotics are a group of psychoactive substances/drugs that are widely used and needed for healing efforts and health services as well as for the development of science. Today many cases of drug abuse are found, one group of people who are prone to being exposed to drug abuse are those in the age range of 15-35 years or the millennial generation. Because drug cases are always increasing every day, education or outreach about the dangers of drugs must always be carried out, especially among adolescents who are vulnerable to trying illegal drugs. In implementing the community service program, which is assisting the government by providing education to the younger generation with the theme "Socialization of Recognizing the Types, Dangers, and Impacts of Drug Abuse in Youth in Tengkudak Village" it is hoped that this will help educate the younger generation so they don't fall prey to drug abuse.  Keywords: Drugs, Education, abuse

Abstract

Elementary education or elementary school is the initial momentum for children to improve their abilities, from elementary school they get learning immunity which then becomes a habit for them to do in the future. Learning language in elementary schools is an activity to equip students from the start on an ongoing basis so that students have discipline in thinking and speaking, most language teachers are not very aware of the importance of coaching writing training so that it causes students to have low writing creativity. Based on the results of observations at SDN 4 Tiga, Bangli, it was found that students in grade I had low creativity and writing skills. Keywords: Education, Elementary School, Students
