Abstract

The Functional Feasibility Certificate (SLF) is a legal requirement in Indonesia to ensure that buildings meet safety, health, and usability standards before being occupied, especially for public and commercial facilities. This study investigates the low adoption of SLF in public buildings in Banda Aceh, a mid-sized urban center in Indonesia. A qualitative case study approach was applied, involving direct observation and semi-structured interviews at four purposively selected sites: the BSI Landmark Building, Dr. Zainoel Abidin Regional General Hospital (Polyclinic), Kyriad Muraya Hotel, and Suzuya Mall. Results showed that only one building, the BSI Landmark had a valid SLF certificate. The remaining three lacked critical components such as fire doors, smoke detectors, and evacuation plans, despite the presence of basic safety infrastructure. Thematic analysis revealed three dominant barriers to certification: procedural complexity, limited institutional capacity, and low awareness among building managers. These findings highlight the need for streamlined digital certification systems, improved municipal support, and targeted regulatory outreach. The study contributes to the literature on urban safety governance in Indonesia and offers practical insights for strengthening disaster risk resilience and building compliance frameworks in Indonesian cities. Keywords: Functional feasibility certificate, Public building safety, Building regulation

Abstract

Periodic maintenance of irrigation channels represents a fundamental aspect in maintaining agricultural system sustainability, particularly in swamp irrigation areas that possess unique characteristics and specific challenges. This study examines the implementation of periodic maintenance on secondary channels of Sugihan Kanan Swamp Irrigation Area in Suka Mulya Village, executed through the Public Works and Public Housing Department. The implementation methodology encompasses equipment and workforce mobilization, channel measurement using GPS technology and precision measuring instruments, and application of occupational safety and health management systems (SMK3). Comprehensive field survey stages include preparation, site inspection, and visual documentation to obtain accurate data on existing channel conditions. Main construction work comprising soil excavation and embankment refinement was executed using excavators with gradual techniques to achieve optimal channel profiles. Detailed drawing planning using AutoCAD software with 1:1000 scale ensures accurate visualization and facilitates field implementation. Implementation results demonstrate that systematic and structured approaches in irrigation channel maintenance can enhance water distribution effectiveness, prevent infrastructure damage, and support agricultural productivity. Abstract

The use of electrical energy in buildings has the potential to cause wastage of electrical energy, such as lighting, lighting, electronic devices and equipment installed that does not comply with standards. This research aims to obtain building standardization by calculating the Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) value, making savings on air and lighting systems, and calculating energy consumption costs. The savings that can be made in this research are savings by implementing energy conservation through technological improvement methods in lighting and air conditioning systems. On the procedures for implementing other savings by implementing energy saving behavior. Then calculate consumption costs using the financial assessment stages. Based on an audit of electrical energy in this office building, the IKE value obtained was 78.08 kWh per year. This value is considered efficient for office buildings. However, several conditions were found that caused energy waste, such as the use of fluorescent fluorescent lamps in the lighting system. The use of these lamps tends to be wasteful so they need to be replaced with LED TL lamps. The savings obtained on lighting are 55%. And in the cooling system the AC capacity does not match the area per floor. The savings obtained from air conditioning are 15% with the resulting kWh value being 511.2 kWh from the previous savings of 677.7 kWh.Keywords: Electrical Energy Audit, Energy Conservation, Energy Consumption Intensity

Abstract

In the contemporary age of digital transformation, where the necessity for efficiency and precision is critical, numerous firms encounter substantial challenges in properly managing their inventory systems, particularly in the context of rising product demand and operational intricacy. PT. Perdana Sakti Indonesia faces significant challenges due to its reliance on manual data processing methods, resulting in data entry errors, delays in stock information updates, and protracted calculation processes that impede productivity and responsiveness. The deficiencies in inventory management jeopardize financial stability and reduce consumer happiness, particularly when products are out of stock or delivery schedules are disrupted. This project seeks to design and create a complete web-based inventory information system utilizing the Waterfall methodology as a systematic software development framework. The system is built with Laravel as the primary framework, PHP for backend development, MySQL as the database engine, and HTML/CSS for designing a user-friendly interface. The use of automation and real-time monitoring is anticipated to markedly boost data accuracy, minimize human errors, optimize stock management, and improve overall operational efficiency. The use of this system is anticipated to enhance PT. Perdana Sakti Indonesia's inventory management and service quality.

Abstract

Banyaknya kerusakan bangunan IPAL sepeti pecahnya pipa saluran mengakibatkan IPAL tidak berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya. Dampak kerusakan tersebut diantaranya polusi lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhikeberlanjutan pengelolaan IPAL Komunal di Kota Solok. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan responden stakeholders yang berkaitan dengan IPAL. Jumlah responden penelitian ini adalah 84 orang. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 2 faktor yang mempengaruhi keberlanjutan IPAL Komunal yang terdiri dari 11 variabel. 5 variabel paling dominan yaitu Kondisi fisik sarana dan prasarana sistem penyaluran  hanya sebagian yang berfungsi, Kualitas effluent berbau menyengat, merusak estetika dan menganggu ekosistem didekatnya , Kondisi fisik tidak lengkap dan tidak berfungsi, Layout tidak sesuai dengan perencanaan dan tanpa penjelasan dan Lokasi IPAL terlalu dekat dengan rumah warga, dimana tidak terjangkau dengan truk penyedot tinja.

Abstract

The Maninjau Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) faces technical challenges in its generator excitation system due to failures in the Type 13 electromechanical speed relay, a critical component in the excitation start-up sequence. This relay has not only lost accuracy but is also obsolete and difficult to procure in the market. Its malfunction poses the risk of excitation sequence failure, which may lead to damage in the Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR), voltage meter disturbances, and even complete unit start-up failure.This study aims to replace the function of the electromechanical speed relay with a system utilizing generator rotational speed signals available through the Distributed Control System (DCS). The Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS) method, field observation, and priority matrix analysis were employed to evaluate the most optimal replacement alternative. The results indicate that using a 24VDC relay based on signals from the Speed Sensor Gear (SSG) and digital signals from the DCS provides the best solution. The new system enables a more precise excitation process, easier installation, improved safety, as well as real-time monitoring and full integration with digital control systems.The implemented modification demonstrates that the excitation system becomes more reliable and efficient, effectively overcoming the previously frequent excitation sequence failures. Furthermore, the system is considered more economical and universal, while ensuring compatibility with future developments in digital-based power plant technology. Overall, this research makes a significant contribution to the modernization of hydroelectric control systems, in line with the sustainable and technology-driven development of national power infrastructure.Keywords: Speed Relay, DCS, Excitation System, Hydroelectric Power Plant, Generator Rotational Speed, Control Modernization

Abstract

The evaluation of office building planning documents is a crucial step in ensuring the quality of construction project implementation. This study aims to evaluate the completeness and compliance of the planning documents for the Office Building of the Construction Services Procurement Unit (BP2JK) of South Sumatra Region, referring to the applicable technical standards and regulations. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method through document study and direct observation of planning components. The evaluation results indicate that most documents meet administrative and technical requirements, although some elements require improvements to ensure technical clarity and smooth project implementation. These findings highlight the importance of systematic planning document preparation as the foundation for the success of public construction projects. The study also recommends enhancing quality control mechanisms in the planning process and utilizing information technology to support document accuracy and transparency.  Keywords: document evaluation, building planning, public construction, BP2JK, quality control

Abstract

Tofu liquid waste has a C/N ratio of 4.68 which is below the standard for biogas formation, namely 20-30. Increasing the C/N ratio of tofu liquid waste was carried out by adding raw materials that had a high C/N ratio, namely rice husks of 145.35. The amount of raw material mixed with tofu liquid waste and rice husks is determined by varying the C/N ratio according to standards with variations of 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, and 30 to get the best potential for biogas and electrical energy using the Anaerobic Fermentation method and software assistance. Superpro. The amount of rice husk raw material with a C/N ratio of 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, and 30 respectively 97.77 kg, 112.33 kg, 127.37 kg, 142.90 kg, 158.98 kg, and 175.60 kg. The best potential for biogas and electrical energy is at a C/N ratio of 30 with a raw material amount of 800 liters of tofu liquid waste and 175.60 kg of rice husk waste, amounting to 327.56 m3 and 1,539.53 kWh. It can be concluded that the raw material of rice husks can increase the C/N ratio of tofu liquid waste which is still below the standard for biogas formation, so that mixing tofu liquid waste with rice husks can increase the potential for biogas and electrical energy. Keywords: C/N Ratio, Tofu Liquid Waste, Rrice Husk, Biogas

Abstract

Extracurricular activities are essential for cultivating pupils' potential in primary education. SDN 06 Ngringo is dedicated to providing a range of extracurricular programs to develop students' skills, interests, and talents. The existing manual registration method results in inefficiencies, data management challenges, restricted access to information, and diminished openness. This study intends to build and implement a web-based system for extracurricular registration information at SDN 06 Ngringo. The employed methodology is the Waterfall model, encompassing requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. The system is constructed utilizing HTML, PHP, Bootstrap, the Laravel framework, and MySQL as the database. This technology is anticipated to streamline and expedite the registration process, enhancing the efficiency and efficacy of extracurricular activity management. This research is expected to positively enhance students' learning experiences and facilitate the optimal development of their potential at SDN 06 Ngringo.

Abstract

Pembangunan infrastruktur jalan memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan konektivitas antar wilayah dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi. Namun, keterlambatan dalam proyek konstruksi jalan masih menjadi permasalahan yang sering terjadi dan berdampak pada biaya, kualitas proyek, serta mobilitas masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan membandingkan faktor-faktor penyebab keterlambatan proyek konstruksi jalan di Kabupaten Solok, dengan pendekatan komparatif antara dua proyek yang mengalami keterlambatan, yaitu pemeliharaan jalan Paninjauan - Kuncir dan pembangunan jalan Muaro–Garabak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 4 faktor utama yang sama penyebab keterlambatan adalah Komitmen pemilik terhadap proyek, Pemantauan dan pengendalian proyek oleh pemilik, Kemampuan pemilik dalam manajemen proyek, dan Pemahaman kontraktor tentang ruang lingkup pekerjaan.
