Abstract

One of the Batang Hari watersheds flows in the Jorong Gasing area of Nagari Lubuk Ulang-Aling, Sangir Batang Hari. In this area, for generations, people use river water for various activities such as irrigating rice fields, transportation facilities, inland fisheries, and toilet washing facilities. But a few years ago there began to be an Unlicensed Gold Mining (PETI) activity. As a result, the condition of the Batang Hari river is alarming, as the level of turbidity is very high, damage to the right-left border of the river, destruction of forest areas, and even affect the social and economic life of the community. Therefore, this research was conducted to describe and prove the full impact of the PETI activity. The results showed a decrease in the quality of Batang Hari Hari river, specifically TSS parameters. The over function land was very significant where land cover in 2000 was 61.22 ha of secondary dryland forest to 25.18 ha in 2017. There was evidence of changes in socio-economic life with 63% of the surrounding community no longer utilizing river water, mutual cooperation activities are decreasing, conflicts often occur, as well as an increase in the economy but its growth is unpredictable.

Abstract

Penelitian prilaku pengguna jamban keluarga terhadap lingkungan perumahan penduduk kotaPadangtelah dilakukan dengan metoda statistik deskriftif melalui menyebaran kuisionare. Fokus penelitian adalah masyarakat yang bermukim di wilayah pantai yang mendapatkan program penyehatan lingkungan pemukiman propinsi Sumatera Barat pada tahun 1991-1994 di Kelurahan Purus Kecamatan PadangBarat. Peubah bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pendidikan kesehatan (X1), sikap (X2), dan budaya (X3), serta peubah terikatnya adalah prilaku pengguna jamban. Dengan 87 sampel dari 1.900 populasi diperoleh bahwa pendidikan kesehatan menunjukan hubungan yang negatif dengan prilaku, sementara sikap dan budaya menunjukan hubungan yang positif dan siknifikan terhadap prilaku pengguna jamban. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa prilaku pengguna jamban tidak dipengaruhi oleh pendidikan kesehatan yang diberikan kepada masyarakat setempat. Namun ketiga-tiga pubah tersebut secara bersama-sama menunjukan hubungan yang positif dan siknifikan terhadap prilaku pengguna jamban dengan nilai regresi Y = 6,239 + 0,127X1 + 0,232X2 + 0,824X3. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa semakin baik pendidikan masyarakat, sikap, dan budaya secara bersama-sama maka semakin baik pula prilaku mereka dalam menggunakan jamban yang sudah ada. Oleh sebab itu disarankan agar masyarakat di kawasan penelitian tidak lagi membuang tinja di sembarang tempat (pantai dan draenase) serta kepada instansi pemerintah yang terkait dalam melaksanakan program sejenis supaya memahami sifat dan karakteristik masyarakat dimana program-program tersebut akan diaplikasikan sehingga pembangunan yang dilakukan menjadi tepat guna. Kata kunci: budaya, pengguna jamban, dan prilaku

Abstract

Permukaan Jalan Nasional Wilayah 2 Provinsi Sumatera Barat di ruas Jalan Solok-Sawah Lunto mengalami kerusakan seperti terjadinya retak-retak, banyak tambalan, dan lubang-lubang sehingga mengakibatkan waktu tempuh jadi lama dan dapat menyebabkan kecelakaan lalu lintas yang membahayakan bagi pengguna jalan. Tingkat kerusakan perkerasan jalan dapat di minimalisasi jika diketahui sejak dari awal. Untuk memprediksi kondisi perkerasan dengan baik, dibutuhkan suatu evaluasi dan penilaian secara periodik sehingga hasilnya dapat dijadikan rujukan dalam penanganannya. Guna mendapatkan informasi mengenai kondisi perkerasan dan jenis kerusakan yang terjadi pada jalan Wilayah 2 Provinsi Sumbar, dilakukan penelitian pada ruas jalan Solok-Sawah Lunto, km 68+000-85+000. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei lapangan untuk mengetahui jenis kerusakan, dimensi kerusakan, tingkat kerusakan, dan data lalu lintas harian. Analisis penilaian digunakan Metode Pavement Condition Index (PCI) dan Metode Bina Marga. Hasil penilaian berdasasarkan Metoda PCI ditemukan nilai PCI 51.03 dan menurut Metode Bina Marga diperoleh nilai kondisi jalan 6 dan urutan prioritas 4. Kedua hasil penilaiaan menujukan bahwa kondisi ruas jalan dalam kondisi sedang sehingga memerlukan pemeliharaan berkala.

Abstract

Perubahan pekerjaan sering dilakukan pada proyek jalan, sehingga menimbulkan kenaikan biaya pada beberapa item pekerjaan dan berdampak terhadap waktu penyelesaian (serta) kualitas kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apa saja item pekerjaan yang sering mengalami justifikasi teknis dan berapa besarnya perubahan biaya akibat perubahan tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 9 paket pekerjaan jalan di Sumatera Barat di lingkungan Satuan Kerja Pelaksana Jalan Nasional di bawah Koordinasi Balai Besar Jalan Nasional Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Paket pekerjaan yang diteliti adalah pekerjaan yang dilaksanakan pada tahun 2009 hingga 2015. Metode penelitian deskriptif evaluatif. Data penelitian ini dihimpun dari dokumen kontrak awal dan dokumen perubahan kontrak (addendum) dan pengolahan data dengan melakukan tabulasi terhadap item pekerjaan dan biaya. Didapati item pekerjaan yang paling sering mengalami perubahan adalah pekerjaan drainase dan pekerjaan tanah dan perubahan biaya sebesar 8.00 - 10.00% lebih tinggi dari biaya awal proyek. Untuk mengeliminasi terjadinya perubahan pekerjaan dan peningkatan biaya perlu dilakukan survei lapangan yang lengkap dengan menghitung secara detail volume dan harga untuk setiap item pekerjaan

Abstract

Pada tahun 2018, Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Perencanaan Tata Ruang Provinsi Sumatera Barat, Indonesia memiliki 24 paket pekerjaan kontruksi jalan. Hanya 33.3% yang selesai tepat waktu dan sisanya 66.7% mengalami keterlambatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menentukan penyebab keterlambatan dan dampak yang ditimbulkan. Metoda yang dipakai adalah deskritif evaluatif dengan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner. Kuesioner dibuat menggunakan skala Likert 1 sampai dengan 5 dalam form aplikasi google dan didistrusikan melalui WhatsApp. Sebanyak 33 orang responden berpartsisipasi mewakili owner, kontraktor, dan konsultan. Hasil kuesioner dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan SPPS. Ditemukan 10 faktor utama penyebab keterlambatan dengan urutan sebagai berikut kekurangan material, pembebasan lahan, manajamen lapangan kontraktor, perencanaan dan penjadualkan yang tidak efektif, kesulitan keuangan kontraktor, kesalahan disain, kurangnya peralatan, rendahnya sumberdaya manusia kontraktor, kondisi lapangan proyek yang tidak terduga dan peralatan yang rusak. Akibat keterlambatan tersebut terjadi pembengkakan biaya, pertambahan waktu, dan pelanggaran kontrak. Hasil studi ini sangat bermanfaat bagi pihak yang terlibat dalam penyelenggaraan pekerjaan jalan untuk melakukan perbaikan manajemen sehingga faktor keterlambatan tersebut dapat dihilangkan.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the extent to which the level of environmental knowledge influences the attitude of caring for the environment in the GBPLHS program in Padang City. The research method uses simple regression analysis with SPSS 21. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between knowledge of environmental care attitudes in the GBPLHS program in Padang City. The more knowledge increases, the higher the attitude of caring for the environment in students of elementary school 02 Terandam and elementary school 03 Pertiwi.

Abstract

Even though the construction sector provides business opportunities for workers, this sector also contributes 30% -40% of accidents and fatalities. For this reason, it is necessary to identify the factors of the work safety climate and their influence on work safety performance. This study aims to identify and measure the work safety factors and safety performance and which dominantly improves safety performance. The third aim to evaluate the relationship model between work safety climate and work safety performance. This research adopts 45 safety climate variables Zahoor, 2017 and uses 275 construction workers in Jambi Province. The data collection techniques with primary (informants) and secondary data (K3 documents and literature studies) utilize observation, direct interviews, and questionnaires. The results study found that the first three factors form the work safety factor (FIK1, FIK 2, FIK3). For  named FIK1 to become Management Commitment and OSH resources, Procedures and Awareness of FIK2, FIK3 is named Perception of Accidents. In the second stage, the research found only factor 3 or IK3, namely the Perception of Accidents that affected safety performance. In the third stage, the study found that the safety performance measurement model only had the third factor, namely the Perception of Accidents, which could be used in a structural equation model that affected safety performance. Hopefully that understanding and knowing the observed variables from CI can help the project management team design the right strategy to create a safe project environment.

Abstract

The occurrence of road damage causes road conditions to be less stable. This was triggered by the ineffective implementation of road maintenance in Region I Dinas Binamarga, Cipta Karya, and Tata Ruang provinsi  Sumatra Barat. For this reason, efforts and strategies are needed so that road maintenance work becomes optimal and the road can reach the specified design age so that the road in question can be used safely, comfortably, and safely. To obtain the intended solution, a study was carried out on what factors influenced the effectiveness of road maintenance in area I of the Highways, Human Settlement, and Spatial Planning Offices of West Sumatra Province. This study uses descriptive qualitative and evaluative methods through literature study and primary data collection by interviewing predetermined informants. Halil's study shows that there are nine factors for the effectiveness of road maintenance, namely responsiveness, responsibility, community support, funds/budgets, time, human resources, coordination between policymakers, organizational effectiveness, and material resources. There are three dominant factors influencing the effectiveness of road maintenance, namely funds/budget, time, and human resources. SWOT analysis is used to determine the optimal solution to obtain the weight of the IE diagram (x, y = -0.85, -0.425) so that the proposed strategy is to maintain and maintain the existing system by carrying out periodic road damage surveys to find out damage so that potential damage and how to handle it, calculating budget requirements, determining priority scales for road maintenance, determining patterns of work implementation either by self-management or in collaboration with third parties, or collaboration with local communities, placing competent and experienced personnel and adjusting the number of road observers with the length of the existing roads.

Abstract

In recent years, the Tanah Datar district government has focused more on the physical implementation of irrigation area development and has not prioritized the budget for operating and maintenance costs so that there are still many Irrigation Areas (DI) whose irrigation infrastructure is not functioning properly with a high level of network damage that requires high costs. In addition, low awareness of the provision of operational and maintenance (OP) funds, limited human resources for OP staff, and the participation of groups of farmers using water (P3A) or a combination of groups of farmers using water (GP3A) is also not optimal. In order to function optimally and can be used for a long time, the irrigation that has been built needs to be maintained and managed systemically and to develop an optimal operating and maintenance management framework. The purpose of this study was to identify the dominant factors and factors that influence the operation and maintenance of irrigation networks in Tanah Datar District, as well as to optimize the operation and maintenance of the network. This study used a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results of the research conducted revealed that there were 2 factors that influenced the operation and maintenance of irrigation networks in Tanah Datar Regency, namely the condition of physical infrastructure and supporting facilities and P3A Personnel Organization and Institutions..

Abstract

Jambi City Government continues to strive to increase the amount of construction infrastructure that is beneficial to the people of Jambi City. This study aims to identify the factors that influence working capital and analyze the dominant factors that influence working capital. Research through literature review, research questionnaires, population and sample as well as data analysis stages which include data analysis. The first objective of the research is to carry out validity tests, test reliability, normality test, KMO and Bartlett's test and data analysis. The objective of the two studies is to carry out the Mean analysis test to see the dominant factor. Based on the results of the study, it shows that: Factor VII/ Performance, Factor II/ Cash and management policies, Factor VI/ Level of working capital requirements, Factor IV/Receivables and Inventories, Factor V/ Receipts and expenses, Factor 1/ Project Costs, Factor VIII/ Advances and Payments, Factor III, Working capital management. The factor that has the most influence on the contractor's working capital on the performance of building construction projects in Jambi City is Factor VII/Performance with a score of 3.80. While Factor 1/Project Costs got a score of 3.06, Factor VIII/Down Payment and Payments got a score of 3.03, and Factor III/Working capital management got the lowest score, namely 2.99. The Importance of Contractor Performance Factors on Working Capital, efforts to improve contractor performance in building construction projects, as well as collaborative strategies to improve working capital management.
