Abstract

In this era, technological development is growing rapidly. Android is one of the operating systems currently available. The use of this operating system is very popular for cellphone development companies today. Rt 01 is in the Rw 01 area of ​​Muka Kuning Indah II Housing, Batu Aji District, Batam City. In the process of processing documents, residents currently still use traditional methods. Using this traditional method can cause problems, such as data that can be lost and data damage that can occur. One example is managing data on new residents who move to this RT. New citizen data is recorded in a book, as a temporary data storage place before being transferred to Excel. Creating an Android application to help make data collection easier for new residents is a good breakthrough. The results of this research are in the form of an Android application for RT 01 to register new residents, as well as helping to facilitate processing of other documents

Abstract

The food and beverage (FnB) industry in Pekanbaru is experiencing a surge in popularity, marked by a proliferation of cafes and eateries. Amidst this competitive landscape, Calandra, an FnB establishment, faces the imperative to modernize its operations to stay ahead. This paper delves into the challenges confronted by Calandra amidst the technologically driven FnB environment and proposes the implementation of a Point of Sales (POS) System as a pivotal solution. Leveraging the Laravel framework and adhering to the Model, View, Controller (MVC) architecture, the envisioned POS system aims to revolutionize Calandra's operational landscape. Key objectives include the accurate recording of sales transactions, seamless integration for adding new menu items on their user website, enhancement of operational efficiency, and streamlining service processes. By meticulously designing and implementing this POS system, the authors envision it as an indispensable tool facilitating transactions with customers while providing comprehensive transaction history data. Through a detailed analysis of Calandra's operational dynamics and the proposed POS system's functionalities, this study offers insights into the transformative potential of technology in optimizing FnB businesses amidst a competitive market landscape.

Abstract

In 2024, Indonesia held presidential and vice presidential elections. Before the election took place, researchers gathered sentiment data from X and news sources from January 1, 2023 to September 1, 2023. The data collected was not well-visualized, resulting in suboptimal information. For this study, researchers applied data visualization using Google Looker Studio, which enables data presentation in table and graphic formats, making it more engaging. Data will be stored in BigQuery, which is connected to Looker Studio. The results of the study showed that the validity of the data based on its source was 50.1% real and 49.9% fake. There were five top topics for each candidate, including Public Figure, Leader, Political Policy, Community, and Election. Based on the sentiment flow analysis, most data originated from news sources and the rest from X social media.

Abstract

The development of information technology has been utilized by the Communication and Informatics Office of Jombang Regency to enhance the efficiency of public services in the process of receiving complaints and submissions. However, the system in use still faces challenges such as suboptimal response speed, lack of transparency, and difficulties in data storage as some still use email and Google Forms as the mediums for receiving complaints and submissions. The prototype method was used in the development of this system. The stages include communication, quick planning, quick design modeling, construction of the prototype, and deployment, delivery, and feedback. This research resulted in a complaint and public service advertisement submission information system that can facilitate the public in the process of submitting complaints, submission requests, and data collection and management by the admin.

Abstract

This research develops an artificial intelligence-based letter archiving management information system for the GPI Papua Classis Mimika Institute in Central Papua, with a focus on classifying incoming letters using the Naive Bayes algorithm. The aim of this research is to make it easier to search and monitor documents and increase the efficiency and accuracy of mail archive management. The dataset consists of 50 data, of which 20 data are spam mail data and 30 non-spam mail data. Test results using the Confusion Matrix method show that the system has an accuracy of 78%, precision of 88% for the spam category, recall of 73.3% for the spam category, and an F1 Score of 79.9%. It is hoped that the application of AI technology can help the GPI Papua Klasis Mimika Institute in Central Papua in optimizing the incoming letter classification process, minimizing errors and increasing the efficiency of document management. By using an AI-based approach, the system can also provide practical solutions for more effective and efficient archive management, thereby enabling access to the required information quickly and precisely. Overall, the application of AI technology in mail archiving is expected to not only increase productivity and accuracy, but also provide a strong foundation for improving service and operational efficiency in various sectors and institutions.

Abstract

Tomato is an important food crop in the world, including Indonesia, which often faces leaf diseases such as mosaic virus, target spot, bacterial spot, yellow leaf curl virus, late blight, leaf mold, early blight, spider mites, and septoria leaf spot. These diseases are difficult to recognize manually, so Deep Learning technology, especially Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), is used for the classification process. This research uses Inception V3 transfer learning model and image preprocessing and data augmentation. Testing is done with various optimizers (Adam, SGD, RMS Prop) to find the best model. Tests were conducted using confusion matrix to determine the level of accuracy produced by the CNN model. The results show an accuracy of 93.8% with the optimal model using Optimizer Adam.

Abstract

Waste management presents significant challenges that require innovative strategies to improve efficiency and sustainability. Application development has been identified as a potential solution. However, the quality of application code often poses a major hurdle in maintenance and adaptation to change. This study aims to improve the code quality and maintenance of the Buang.in application through the implementation of Clean Architecture. The hope is that implementing Clean Architecture will make the Buang.in application more structured, clear and easy to understand, as well as overcome existing maintenance challenges. In addition, this research aims to provide effective waste management solutions by introducing flexible development options. The limitations of this study include analyzing and improving code quality in the Buang.in application, with a particular focus on implementing Clean Architecture as a code maintenance solution. Changes to the core functionality of the application are not the main focus. By combining Agile and Scrum methodologies, this research adopts adaptive and collaborative software development practices. Agile with Scrum allows development teams to adapt to evolving requirements and prioritize tasks based on highest business value. Therefore, integrating Agile and Scrum in this research ensures that the Buang.in application development process remains efficient and responsive to changes throughout the development cycle.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement an inventory information system using the Waterfall method at PT Nubos Jaya Perkasa, a heavy equipment sales company. This system replaces the manual process in managing stock and transactions. The development stages include requirements analysis, system design (use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, class diagram, flow chart, and wireframe), and implementation with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XAMPP for the database. System testing using the Black-Box Testing method ensures all functions run according to specifications. The test results show that the system can add, edit, delete product data, record transactions, and monitor stock accurately. The system also provides report features to monitor operational activities. The conclusion of this research is that the web-based inventory information system at PT Nubos Jaya Perkasa improves the efficiency and accuracy of stock and transaction management, and provides real-time data for decision making. The system helps the company automate manual workflows and identify areas that can be optimized to improve productivity and customer service.

Abstract

This study aims to design a booking information system at a barbershop to facilitate the booking process. This system is designed to increase the efficiency of barbershop operations and improve communication with customers. Using the Waterfall development model, this system goes through the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results show that the developed information system can improve customer experience by providing features such as online ordering, reminder notifications, and integration with online payment systems. In addition, the system also supports the barbershop's marketing strategy by promoting the latest services and offers, and enables data analysis to customize services according to customer preferences. The implementation of this system is expected to give barbershops a competitive edge in the ever-evolving industry.

Abstract

Websites are one of the most widely used internet facilities, presenting information interactively to users. However, website evaluation should not be ignored to ensure an optimal user experience. Although the Behandle Operation System Customer PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia has been launched since 2021, data shows that the number of customers registering on this platform has decreased from year to year. The number of customers who registered in 2021 reached 1,337 customers, in 2022 the number of registrants decreased to 906, and in 2023 it decreased again to 847. This decline is a serious concern for the company, because it can interfere with the effectiveness and efficiency of their operations. To overcome this problem, a comprehensive evaluation of website usability needs to be carried out. The System Usability Scale (SUS) method was chosen because of its ease of use and reliability in evaluating website usability. The results of the study showed an average SUS score of 65, indicating an acceptable level of usability. However, the findings from this evaluation lead to recommendations for improving the user interface, minimizing errors, and improving service quality. These recommendations are expected to improve user experience and improve SUS values to achieve higher standards.
