Keterampilan berbahasa mencakup empat aspek yaitu: menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Permasalahan yang terjadi di SB Kulim bahwa keempat aspek keterampilan berbahasa tersebut belum optimal. Masih terdapat siswa belum dapat membaca dengan baik. Hal tersebut tentu menjadi penghambat peningkatan kompetensi menulis. Anak yang tidak bisa membaca sudah pasti tidak bisa menulis. Pelatihan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi membaca berbasis edugame untuk mengoptimalkan kualitas dalam proses pembelajaran, meningkatkan budaya dan menarik minat anak-anak untuk gemar membaca di SB Kulim, dan terciptanya lomba literasi membaca antar anak-anak di SB Kulim. Metode pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan secara blended learning. Permasalahan di SB Kulim dapat diatas melalui sosialisasi mengenai konsep media berbasis edugame, pelatihan pemanfaatan media berbasis edugame untuk meningkatkan literasi membaca, pendampingan penerapan media berbasis edugame kepada anak-anak di SB Kulim Malaysia, dan lomba literasi membaca. Hasil pelatihan membaca nyaring berbasis edugame untuk meningkatkan literasi membaca anak di SB Kulim adalah dengan menunjukkan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di SB Kulim. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan pelatihan yang telah direncanakan berdurasi 400 menit dalam setiap pelasanakannya dan dilaksanakan selama 2 semeseter (gasal dan genap). Hasil pengabdian terdapat peningkatan keterampilan literasi membaca yang dilakukan melalui pelatihan media edugame yang ditunjukkan melalui pre test dan post test. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui berdasarkan rata-rata hasil skor pre tes adalah 65,08 sedangkan nilai rata-rata post test mengalami peningkatan sebesar 86,03 artinya ada perbedaan atau peningkatan rata-rata skor pre test dan post test yaitu sebesar 20,95 poin. Oleh karena itu, melalui pengabdian ini dapat dibuktikan bahwa produk education game dapat meningkatkan literasi membaca pada anak-anak. The problem that occurs at SB Kulim is that the four aspects of language skills are not optimal. There are still students who cannot read well. This is certainly an obstacle to increasing writing competence. Children who can't read definitely can't write. This training aims to improve edugame-based reading literacy skills to optimize quality in the learning process, improve culture and attract children's interest in reading at SB Kulim, and create a reading literacy competition among children at SB Kulim. This community service method is carried out using blended learning. Problems at SB Kulim can be addressed through socialization regarding the concept of edugame-based media, training on the use of edugame-based media to increase reading literacy, assistance in implementing edugame-based media for children in SB Kulim Malaysia, and reading literacy competitions. The result of edugame-based reading-aloud training to improve children's reading literacy at SB Kulim is to show an increase in the quality of learning at SB Kulim. This is proven by the training, which has been planned to last 400 minutes in each implementation and is carried out for two semesters (odd and even). The results of the service include an increase in reading literacy skills carried out through edugame media training, which is demonstrated through pre-tests and post-tests. This is proven based on the average pre-test score being 65.08, while the average post-test score has increased by 86.03, meaning there is a difference or increase in the average pre-test and post-test scores, namely 20.95 points. Therefore, through this service, it can be proven that educational game products can increase reading literacy in children.
