Abstract

Population growth is very high and is not balanced with the availability of jobs, resulting in uncontrolled poverty. Until now, unemployment is still a crucial problem for the Indonesian government. With minimal levels of education and skills, these job seekers have to compete with each other. This condition ultimately became the trigger for mass labor mobilization between countries carried out by the government. To alleviate poverty, the government implemented a program to place Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI) abroad. The government's role in this program is focused on aspects of training, protection and providing various conveniences to related parties, especially TKI and Indonesian Migrant Worker Placement Services Companies (PJTKI). The aim of this community service is to empower informal workers and learning sector facilitators by strengthening the individual potential of the Indonesian Community Association (PERMAI) Pulai Pinang with a differentiated learning approach that favors the informal sector workers themselves, as well as an effort to adapt the adjustment process to the work community which exists. In Malaysia, adjustment includes interest, strengthening one's potential, and individual readiness to achieve increased productivity results. The solution is to strengthen individuals and/or facilitators in differentiated learning with a learning pattern approach that focuses on increasing productivity levels, through several stages. Stage 1: Map and collect data on initial partner conditions; Stage 2, Socialization through discussions with partners regarding implementation preparations, implementation time, members involved and service topics at Partners; Stage 3: Training and empowerment of differentiated learning and learning pattern approaches that focus on increasing productivity levels; Stage 4: Assistance in implementing learning approaches to learning patterns that favor increasing productivity levels; Stage 5: monitor and evaluate all partner activities; Stage 6: Follow-up on program implementation.

Abstract

This Community Service activity was conducted in collaboration with the Indonesian Community Association (PERMAI), a non-political NGO based in George Town, Penang, Malaysia. PERMAI supports Indonesians living in Malaysia, including businesspeople, workers, teachers, and students, and is active in social, educational, and cultural fields. A major challenge for PERMAI members, especially business owners, is the lack of accounting knowledge, which leads to poor financial record-keeping and reporting, hindering business growth. To tackle this issue, the PKM team provided basic accounting training covering accounting concepts, the accounting cycle, and practical skills from recording transactions to preparing financial reports. The training used interactive lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice with relevant case studies. The activity successfully improved participants’ understanding of accounting’s role in managing businesses. Participants gained the ability to independently record financial transactions and prepare simple financial reports. These results demonstrate that basic accounting training enhances business owners’ capacity to manage their operations more professionally and sustainably.

The problem that occurs at SB Kulim is that the four aspects of language skills are not optimal. There are still students who cannot read well. This is certainly an obstacle to increasing writing competence. Children who can't read definitely can't write. This training aims to improve edugame-based reading literacy skills to optimize quality in the learning process, improve culture and attract children's interest in reading at SB Kulim, and create a reading literacy competition among children at SB Kulim. This community service method is carried out using blended learning. Problems at SB Kulim can be addressed through socialization regarding the concept of edugame-based media, training on the use of edugame-based media to increase reading literacy, assistance in implementing edugame-based media for children in SB Kulim Malaysia, and reading literacy competitions. The result of edugame-based reading-aloud training to improve children's reading literacy at SB Kulim is to show an increase in the quality of learning at SB Kulim. The results of the service include an increase in reading literacy skills carried out through edugame media training, which is demonstrated through pre-tests and post-tests. This is proven based on the average pre-test score being 65.08, while the average post-test score has increased by 86.03, meaning there is a difference or increase in the average pre-test and post-test scores, namely 20.95 points. Abstract

In the digital era, data analytics is a key factor in increasing sales and competitiveness for individuals, companies, industries or governments. The use of data analytics allows us to understand market trends, customer behavior, and develop more effective marketing strategies. Studies show that companies that implement data analytics experience significant increases in revenue and better operational efficiency. The purpose of this article is to review how analytics can be used to understand audience behavior and preferences, and how this information can be used to target the right consumers with more relevant messages. By using sophisticated analytics tools, companies can gain insights from customer data, from purchasing patterns to interactions with digital platforms, enabling more informed and accurate decision making. Through a data-driven approach, companies can provide more personalized services and increase customer satisfaction. The implementation of data analytics also allows businesses to respond to market changes more quickly and precisely. With proper implementation, data analytics is not only a decision support tool, but also a key strategy in business growth. Therefore, investment in analytics technology is essential to ensure the sustainability and competitiveness of companies in the long term. In the data analytics process, there are 4 stages, namely Data collection, Data processing, Data analysis, and Data interpretation. Companies can gain competitive advantage by optimizing operations, increasing efficiency, responding to market changes, and predicting future trends through this process. Data analytics changes the way businesses operate by helping to understand customers, find opportunities, and make evidence-based decisions. It also improves operational efficiency and risk management, supporting innovation and long-term growth. The output targets of this activity are publications in international/national journals/Proceedings, IPR/HKI and publications on social media.
