Abstract

A healthy company will have good earnings quality, and an independent public accountant will give a good value to the company's earnings quality. This study aims to determine the effect of audit quality on earnings quality in sharia banks. This study uses explanatory research based on hypothesis testing. The data source is secondary data from sharia banking companies listed on the IDX for the 2021-2022 period and is based on quarterly financial reports. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a total sample of 4 sharia banks. The analysis used is descriptive, simple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that there was no significant effect between audit quality variables on earnings quality. The audit quality of sharia banking companies listed on the IDX cannot be determined from the quality of the auditors. This is indicated by the formation of sharia banking which must have reliable governance to encourage strong and effective sharia compliance so that the public image, namely the interests of stakeholders, can realize economic activities in accordance with sharia principles.

Abstract

The study analyzes the digital factors, namely Promotional Strategies, Motivation, Price, Website Quality, and Product Information, and their correlation and significant effect on Filipino consumers' online impulse buying behavior in e-groceries. Studies of online impulse buying behavior in e-groceries have yet to be explored in the Philippines. It is vital for e-grocery business owners and the e-grocery industry to gain insights on how to drive online impulsivity, leading to an increased profit and market share. The study used a quantitative approach, and online survey questionnaires were used to collect data through a 4-point Likert scale, avoiding neutral responses. The study targeted Generations Z and Y due to them being the dominant online shoppers in the Philippines. The study's findings were analyzed using Pearson Correlation which showed that all digital factors have a weak positive relationship with online impulse buying behavior. Additionally, the researchers conducted a Multiple Regression Analysis concluding that Website Quality, Motivation, and Promotional Strategies significantly affect online impulse buying behavior among e-grocery customers. However, other digital factors, namely Price and Product Information, were found to be insignificant. The result suggests that as e-grocery retailers boost their strategies pertaining to Website Quality, Motivation, and Promotional Strategies, a rise in online impulse buying can materialize.

Abstract

This study highlights the strategic significance of Islamic boarding schools as historic contributors to Islam's development in Indonesia. The pivotal role these schools play in community empowerment is realized through their business units. The research aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership on turnover intention, mediated by job satisfaction, in the business unit of Sunan Drajat Lamongan Islamic boarding school. Employing an explanatory research method, the study utilizes transformational leadership as the independent variable, job satisfaction as the intervening variable, and turnover intention as the dependent variable. Data is collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) processed with SmartPLS. The findings indicate that transformational leadership significantly positively impacts job satisfaction, while job satisfaction significantly negatively influences turnover intention. However, transformational leadership alone has an insignificantly negative effect on turnover intention. Job satisfaction acts as a mediating factor in the influence of transformational leadership in preventing turnover intention. However, transformational leadership without job satisfaction, fails to prevent employee turnover intention. In this context, Islamic boarding schools can optimize transformational leadership and job satisfaction strategies to minimize employee turnover intention, thereby enhancing employee performance and contributing to community empowerment

Abstract

PT. Pegadaian Kanwil I Medan acknowledges the importance of investing in employee development. However, despite these efforts, the company faces challenges with low employee retention rates and turnover rates exceeding acceptable levels. These issues adversely affect the company's performance and productivity. Ineffective training and inconsistent career development are identified as primary factors contributing to job dissatisfaction and low employee retention. Therefore, this study aims to explore how employee development experiences, specifically through training and career development, influence employee retention. Job satisfaction is examined as a mediator in this relationship. The research adopts a quantitative approach with a causal/correlational research design. A sample of 60 employees participated in the study, providing data through questionnaires. The analysis utilizes path analysis with Smart-PLS 3.0 software, focusing on evaluating both the measurement model and structural model. The findings reveal that training significantly enhances employee retention but does not significantly affect job satisfaction. Conversely, career development does not directly impact employee retention but significantly influences job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is found to mediate the relationship between career development and employee retention but does not mediate the relationship between training and employee retention. These findings underscore the critical role of training and career development in improving staff retention at PT. Pegadaian Kanwil I Medan. The study highlights the importance of enhancing training programs and emphasizing career development to boost employee satisfaction and retention.

Abstract

With videos being broadcast in real time, live streaming services are increasingly popular in Indonesia, and many merchants have used them as a way to increase their sales. This study proposes a complete framework to examine the relationship between customer perceived value of live streaming, customer trust, and engagement based on literature in retail, adoption behavior, and e-commerce. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a survey method that results in 200 samples that have been distributed in Indonesia. This research was analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results showed that customer trust related to utilitarian value has a positive effect on live streaming. However, on hedonic values, the role of live streaming on customer trust only affects product trust, not their trust in the seller. The results of research related to customer engagement found that the role of live streaming can create utilitarian value and hedonic value, thus impacting customer trust and generating customer engagement in the process. However, this customer engagement only has a significant impact on customer trust in the seller, not with customer trust in the product. Implications of the results of this study. The implication results of this study provide insight into how e-commerce sellers can implement live streaming technology that attracts and retains customers. In addition to the function of live streaming, sellers should carefully design the atmosphere so that customers feel the utilitarian and hedonic values of shopping through live streaming, and in turn can affect customer demand.
