Abstract

The globalization era requires employees to have good performance and results. Therefore, many companies implement compensation system. Effective compensation is expected to add value to employee’s satisfaction to stimulate employees to always work better. This research aim is to determine the effect of compensation on employee satisfaction and employee performance and employee satisfaction to mediate the effect of compensation on employee performance. The research objects are employees of PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia. The data is collected by questionnaires and analyzed by SmartPLS version 2.0M3 software. The results show that compensation effects on employee satisfaction and employee performance at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia. Employee satisfaction can mediate the effect of compensation on employee performance. It can be concluded that compensation at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia has been classified as good and can improve employee satisfaction and employee performance.Keywords: Compensation, Satisfaction, Employee Performance

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work environment on work commitments, work commitment on employee performance, and work commitment as a mediator of work environment influence on employee performance. The samples are 43 KPPN employees in Malang. Data are collected directly from the respondents through questionnaires and analyzed with path analysis using SPSS software.  The result shows that work environment has a positive and significant influence on work commitment, and work commitment also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Therefore, work commitment proves to be a mediating variable.

Abstract

Modern lifestyle has interfered principles of moslem families. This era tries to define attitude, wealth value, and social position of individuals in society. It might become a doctrine, patent product, challenge or threat. The objective of this research is to elaborate the Islamic characteristics within the economy of moslem families and also implementation of Maqashid Sharia in the economy of moslem families. This research exerts case-study, by determining selected informants from the community of moslem small entrepreneurs in Malang. The findings show that the moslem families consider faith (iman) as basic foundation of economy. They also hold on to character perfection that is based on akhlaqul karimah, lawfulness and wholesomeness, priority scale as expenditure reference, moderation as absolute standardization and responsibility of woman’s wealth proprietary. Internalization of Islamic economy principles in the moslem families economy includes the statement that working as a form of ikhtiar and worship, expenditure as material and spiritual distribution of wealth, savings as urgent post in the future, and wealth as instrument to serve to Allah. Finally, it is important to regard Maqashid Sharia as a standard of Muslim action in economy

Abstract

The aim of the current study is to examine the role of green marketing tools, religiosity, supply chain management environmental attitude on green purchase behavior in the millennial generation based on these variables, then the Instruments are determined. Data collection methods in this study were questionnaires. The results of the collected 268 questionnaires of respondents were processed using descriptive and quantitative analysis tools using SEM (Structural Equation Model) analysis techniques with Stata 13. The greater green marketing tools which consist of Environmental Advertisement, Perception of eco-labels, Perception of an eco-brand, Trust in eco-label and eco brand the greater possibility to influence Green Behavioral Purchase (GBP). The greater Environmental Attitudes (EA) which consist of Environmental Knowledge (EK) and Environmental Value (EV) the greater positive effect on Green Behavioral Purchase (GBP). The greater religiosity value which consists of (religious belief), experiential ritualistic (religious feeling), Intellectual (religious knowledge), application consequences of religious effect the greater environmentally friendly attitude and Green Behavioral Purchase (GBP). Religiosity moderates the relationship between EA and GBP, so the relationship between EA and GBP is stronger for consumers with high Religiosity than consumers with lower Religiosity. This study will fill this gap. As a result, what this study proposes is the scarce and the new and original constructs respectively- The green purchasing behavior among millennials generation and also provides a framework for the study which makes it possible to explore the relation between green marketing tools, religiosity, environmental attitude and green purchase behavior.

Abstract

The effect of Intelligence on employee performance is highly essential, although contradictions related to the current research found. This research aims to analyze the direct and indirect effect of spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence on employee performance through Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). This research using Partial Least Square (PLS) with 50 respondents as samples. It shows that emotional intelligence has a direct and indirect effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, spiritual intelligence only has a direct effect on employee performance. Emotional intelligence can increase employee performance indirectly through OCB. Management implies that the supervisor is supposed to conduct an assessment on OCB to enhance employee performance continuously.JEL Classification: D23, J24

Abstract

Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is a behavior that has an effect on organizational effectiveness. It has important consequences in workplace. OCB can contribute to organizational effectiveness through improved performance, enabling organizations to adapt to environmental change, and strengthening coordination within working groups. Therefore, it is important to investigate the variables that can improve the OCB. This study aims to determine the direct effect of spiritual leadership on employee’s performance, identifying the role of OCB to mediate the effect of spiritual leadership on employee’s performance. The population is all 436 employees of Sharia banking with state-owned status in Malang Raya, consist of Bank Sharia Mandiri, BRI Sharia, BTN Sharia and BNI Sharia. Total 140 samples selected are all permanent employees calculated by using Slovin formula. Data is collected directly from respondents by questionnaires and analyzed by PLS. The research results show that spiritual leadership has n0 effect on performance. OCB mediates the effect of Entrepreneur leadership on performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini meneliti tentang pengaruh word of mouth dan promosi terhadap minat menabung anggota di KSPT BMT UGT Sidogiri Cabang Pamekasan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh word of mouth dan promosi terhadap minat menabung anggota. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu berdasarkan hasil uji-t pada setiap variabel yang ada yaitu dihasilkan pada variabel word of mouth (X1) menghasilkan nilai thitung 3.501 > ttabel 1,966 dengan nilai signifikan 0,01< 0,05 dan variabel promosi (X2) dihasilkan nilai thitung 3.029 > ttabel 1,966, dengan nilai signifikan 0,003< 0,05. Maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa word of mouth dan promosi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap minat menabung di KSPS BMT UGT Sidogiri Cabang Pamekasan. Berdasarkan adjust R2 adalah 0,076 atau 7.6%. Hal ini berarti sebesar 7,6% kemampuan model regresi pada penelitian ini dalam menerangkan variabel dependen. Artinya 7.6% variabel, word of mouth dan promosi berpengaruh terhadap minat menabung. Sedangkan sisanya (100% - 7.6% = 92.4%) dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lainnya yang tidak diperhitungkan dalam analisis penelitian ini. Serta dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa variabel yang paling berpengaruh adalah word of mouth.

Abstract

The cause of the decrease quality of education is the problem of school effectiveness. This study examines the variable model of school effectiveness on leadership behavior, school environment climate, and teacher performance. The research approach uses quantitative and correlational types. The population of this research is the teachers of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri in Malang City. The sampling technique is a saturated sample or census. The data collection tool is a questionnaire. Questionnaire statements assess on a Likert scale. Validity compares with calculated r-value with r table for Degree of Freedom (df) = n-k at Alpha 0.05. The reliability test carries with using the Cronbach Alpha test. Data analysis uses Partial Least Square (PLS) to analyze Outer Model and Inner Model data along with Bootstrapping. In the research findings, leadership behavior has a significant effect on teacher performance, and school climate has no impact on teacher performance. Principal leadership behavior and teacher performance affect the effectiveness of madrasas. Another finding is that an indirect effect between leadership behavior through teacher performance. There is no direct influence between school climate through teacher performance. School effectiveness is determined by teacher performance.

Abstract

Teachers have an essential role in determining the success of education. Teacher performance is of particular concern in the world of education. This study examines the influence of madrasah principal leadership, work environment, and work motivation on teacher performance. The research approach uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type. The population in this study were Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri teachers throughout Pidie Jaya Regency, Aceh Province. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The data collection is a questionnaire measured by a Likert Scale. The validity test was calculated by comparing the r-table at a significant level of 0.05 with degrees of freedom (n-2). The reliability test was carried out using Cronbach Alpha. Data analysis used Partial Least Square to analyze the outer Model, Inner Model, and Bootstrapping. The results showed that the leadership of the madrasah principal had a significant positive effect on work motivation, the work environment has a significant positive impact on teacher work motivation, and the principal’s leadership also has a significant positive impact on teacher performance. The teacher’s work environment has a negative and insignificant effect on teacher performance, while work motivation has a positive and minor impact on teacher performance. Another finding is that there is no indirect effect between the principal’s leadership on teacher performance through work motivation. There is no indirect effect of the work environment on teacher performance through work motivation. Excellent leadership role, well-environment and high work motivation will optimize the teacher performance.
