Abstract

ABSTRACT Business Analysis Of The Opak Agroindustry In Bukit Peninjaun Ii Village, Sukaraja District, Seluma Regency One sub-sector that is very important to be developed to support agricultural development is the agricultural product processing industry (agro-industry). The purpose of the study was to determine the amount of production, revenue, income, efficiency, BEP opak agro-industry costs in Bukit Peninjau II Village, Sukaraja District, Seluma Regency. The study was conducted in March to May 2017 in Bukit Peninjaun II Village, Sukaraja District, Seluma Regency. The method used is census method. The data used are primary and secondary data. Analysis of financial data used is the analysis of production costs, revenue and income analysis, R / C ratio analysis and break-even analysis (BEP). Research results show that the average production is 20 kg / production, the total production cost is Rp. 106,445.51 with an average selling price of Rp. 12,000, - / kg. The revenue is Rp. 240.00, - and income of Rp. 133,554.49. R / C ratio greater than 1 which is 2.25, means that the opak cracker agroindustry is profitable and efficient. Abstract

Sausage is a food with a composition of meat, fat, binder, filler, water, salt, and spices and then steamed. This study aims to characterize the quality of chicken sausage substituted with red beans. The research was carried out in two stages, namely the chicken sausage processing stage and the analysis stage. The analysis conducted was protein, texture and organoleptic analysis. The results of the analysis of sausage protein levels ranged from 15.133% to 17.323%. Where the higher the red bean substitution, the lower the protein content of chicken sausage. The results of the sausage texture analysis ranged from 1,527 g/mm2 to 3,513 g/mm2. The results of the organoleptic analysis of the sausage color ranged from 2.65 (rather like) to 4.75 (really like). The results of oranoleptic analysis on the taste of sausage ranged from 2.45 (dislike) to 4.65 (really like). The results of the organoleptic analysis on the texture of the sausages ranged from 2.65 (rather like) to 4.65 (really like).

Abstract

An intensive research about the application of Oil palm frond (OPF) organic fertilizer on paddy rice and soybean had been done for consecutive three years. The crops showed better growth and yield by years by OPF organic fertilizer compared to farmyard manure and chemical fertilizer. This finding was due to the adequate nutrient contents in OPF organic fertilizer which consist of more than 4% of N, P and K as required by national organic standard (SNI). However, the C/N ratio was rather high which more than 25%. This research aimed to evaluate new formulations of OPF organic fertilizer with the intention of finding ideal C/N ratio as required by SNI. In order to meet this objective, the study was conducted by mixing OPF chopped with various high N content organic materials. The best formulation was mixing of OPF chopped with oil palm leaves, farmyard manure and fish waste liquid fertilizer. The N content in this new formulation was 2.10% which was higher than previous OPF formulation 1.52%. Thus the C/N ratio became much lower in new formulation compared to previous one, 13.83% and 35.96% consecutively.

Abstract

Pesisir Barat Regency is one of the regencies located in the coastal regions of Indonesia, precisely in Lampung Province. Pesisir Barat Regency has the main potential in the tourism sector, especially in coastal tourism. Tanjung Setia and LabuhanJukung are tourism which become tourism icons in Pesisir Barat Regency. The purpose of this study is to analyze the allocation and distribution of work of household members, analyze the level of household income and what factors influence it, and determine the level of household welfare in the Tanjung Setia and LabuhanJukung Coastal Areas, Pesisir Barat Regency. The population in this study is household businesses or workers in the Tanjung Setia tourism area and LabuhanJukung. Determination of the number of samples using purposive sampling method. The results of the study revealed that, the allocation of household work time of business operators in the Tanjung Setia tourism area was more dominant in productive activities as well as the LabuhanJukung tourism area. The allocation of productive working time in the Tanjung Setia tourism area is 37.79% or 9.07 hours / day, while in LabuhanJukung is 33, 44% or 8.03 hours / day. The level of household income of business operators in the Tanjung Setia tourism area is relatively greater when compared to LabuhanJukung. In the tourism regions of Tanjung Setia and LabuhanJukung, the level of income is influenced by age, number of family members, distance and location of work time, while the educational variable has no significant effect. The level of household welfare of business operators in the Tanjung Setia tourism area is mostly classified in the welfare category with a percentage of 48, 94% or 48 people, while in LabuhanJukung tourism area is classified as not prosperous with a percentage of 51.97% or 66 people.

Abstract

Characterization is an observation process with the aim of knowing the characteristics of a plant. The aims of the study is to identify and characterize 14 genotypes local rice in Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research was used purposive sampling method (purposive random sampling). Data were collected by identifying the characteristics of 14 genotypes local rice in Kuantan Singingi directly into the field. Data observations were carried out on samples based on the guidelines for the characterization and evaluation system for rice plants, the National Commission for Germplasm (2003) and Bioversity International, IRRI and WARDA (2007). The characters observed were qualitative and quantitative characters in the stem and leaf organs. Observation data were processed using Ms. software. Excel and (NTSYS-pc) version 2.02. The results showed a variety of morphological characters of stems and leaves, where the 79% similarity coefficient resulted in five (5) groups.

Abstract

Corn is one of the high economic value food plants which is a good opportunity to be developed. Maize productivity in Indonesia only reaches 4.1 tons / ha at the farm level, the productivity is still low compared to the optimum productivity that can be achieved around 12 tons / ha. The low productivity is due to improper cultivation technology, including the use of chemical fertilizers continuously, therefore we need an effort to use natural fertilizers (organic) and improvement of cultivation technology, one of which is pruning leaves on hybrid corn. This study aims to examine the effect of several doses of liquid organic fertilizer with leaf trimming time, as well as the interaction between the two on hubrida corn. The research was carried out in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Unasman, Polewali Mandar District, West Sulawesi Province, from January 2010 to April 2020. The method used was the RAK in factorial form. F1 administration of POC of lamtoro leaf extraction consists of 3 levels, namely: POC of lamtoro leaf extract 100 ml / liter of water, 200 ml / liter of water, and 300 ml / liter of water. Whereas F2 when pruning leaves is: not pruned (control), pruned before the cobs are formed, and trimmed after cobs are formed. The results of this study aimed that the administration of lamtoro leaf extract POC at a dose of 300ml / liter of water had the best effect on plant height variables aged 21 and 42HST, flowering age (days), age of harvest (days), cob length (berkolobat / not kolobot), weight of cob (berkolob / non-berkolobot), and dry weight of 1000 tons / ha conversion items. Furthermore pruning before the formation of the cob gives a good effect on the harvest age variable which is 74 days. While the interaction between the two did not have a real effect on all variables observed.

Abstract

Sangkuriang catfish is a freshwater consumption fish that has a pretty good profit. The application of biofloc technology in catfish farming increases the cost of feed up to 300 (20% of the total production cost, and my jugaldenaku)). The purpose of the study was to determine the application of interventions and measurement of aquaculture performance. FCR 0.8 and SR 88.3%. The application of intervention by grading began at Daily of Culture (DOC) 35 then every 2 weeks until harvest. The percentage of oversized harvest size in non-intervention ponds was 28.9% while in intervention pools 5.3% income loss can be increased from 1,036,600 IDR to only 78,000 IDR.

Abstract

Bromheadia finlaysoniana L. Miq orchid, is a ground orchid whose population is threatened with extinction due to various human activities, so it needs to be reproduced using tissue culture. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of contamination in various types of explants and administration of tomato extract. The treatment used consisted of two factors, namely the combination of various types of explants and tomato extract, each of which consisted of several levels. The treatment of the first factor was the concentration of explants consisting of 4 types: seeds, leaves, stems and roots, each of which was combined with Tomato Extract at 4 levels: 0, 100 g / L, 200 g / L, and 300 g / L. Observation of the percentage of contamination showed that the best explants for tissue culture propagation of Bromheadia finlaysoniana L. Miq were seed and root explants with a contamination percentage of 36.81% and 37.50%. Observations for the percentage of fungal contamination parameters showed that single explants, with the best treatment were root explants with a contamination percentage of 17.36%. Meanwhile, the best treatment combination was found in root and seed explants without tomato extract, with a percentage of fungal contamination of 8.33%. Observations for the percentage of bacterial contamination, the best single explant treatment was stem explants, with a bacterial contamination percentage of 29.17%. Meanwhile, for the contamination treatment, the best treatment was found in seed and stem explants without giving tomato extract with a percentage of fungal contamination of 16.67%
