Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peranan orang tua dalam mempersiapkan pendidikan anak di tingkat satuan pendidikan SMAN 18 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian yang berlandaskan pada filsafat postpositivisme, digunakan untuk meneliti pada kondisi obyek yang alamiah dimana peneliti adalah sebagai instrumen kunci, pengambilan sampel sumber data dilakukan secara purposive dan snowbaal, melakukan validasi data dengan menggunakan triangulasi data (triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu), analisis data bersifat induktif/kualitatif dan hasil penelitian kualitatif menekankan makna daripada generalisasi. Sampel sebagai sumber datanya terdiri atas lima orang tua peserta didik, Kepala sekolah, Wakil kepala sekolah dan lima orang pendidik. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun pengolahan datanya ditempuh langkah telaah data, reduksi data, kategorisasi data, penafsiran data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa peran orang tua dan sekolah sangat penting bagi kualitas pendidikan peserta didik, pola asuh orang tua sangat berpengaruh dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik, jenis pekerjaan orang tua sangat berpengaruh untuk mempersiapkan pendidikan putra-putrinya, dan tingkat pendidikan orang tua merupakan motivasi peserta didik. Adapun masalah yang dihadapi terdiri atas kerjasama antara orang tua dan sekolah, pola asuh orang tua yang berbeda-beda, jenis pekerjaan orang tua yang berbeda-beda, dan tingkat pendidikan orang tua yang berbeda-beda. Pendampingan orang tua dan sekolah sangat penting untuk mendidik dan mengarah peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Sedangkan bentuk asuhan orang tua berkaitan dengan kepribadian, kecerdasan dan keterampilan. Untuk itu pekerjaan orang tua mempunyai pengaruh yang sangat besar dalam memenuhi sarana prasarana peserta didik. Dan latar belakang pendidikan orang tua pun menentukan bentuk asuhan orang tua dan jenis pekerjaan orang tua itu sendiri.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas dari program socio emotional learning atau SEL dalam rangka membentuk karakter dan harga diri anak. Analisis dilakukan dengan meninjau tahap tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengawasan dan juga evaluasi program. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, diskusi kelompok dan juga observasi kelas. Pemilihan informan dalam penelitian ini ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sumber data diambil dari beberapa pihak seperti diantaranya Ketua Yayasan Sekolah Victory Plus, Kepala Sekolah dan Wakil Kepala Sekolah SD, Kepala Sekolah TK dan juga beberapa guru dari masing masing kelas dan divisi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Miles dan Huberman, yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu, (1) reduksi data; (2) penyajian data; (3) verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pembelajaran sosial emosional di Sekolah Victory Plus sudah berjalan dengan baik. Namun demikian, terdapat fungsi-fungsi manajemen yang masih harus disempurnakan pelaksanaannya dalam rangka mencapai tujuan program yang efektif dan efisien. Beberapa fungsi tersebut adalah : (1) komunikasi antar guru dan pelaksana program yang masih belum tearah; (2) komitmen dan kerjasama antara guru dan pelaksana program yang belum maksimal ; (3) pengawasan dan evaluasi dari sekolah belum sepenuhnya efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan budaya sekolah dan motivasi dengan kinerja guru TK - SMP di Yayasan Wanita Kereta Api, dengan variabel bebas Budaya Sekolah (X1), motivasi (X2) dan variabel terikat kinerja guru (Y). Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK - SMP di Yayasan Wanita Kereta Api Jakarta selama bulan Januari – Maret 2015. Metode penelitiannya adalah penelitian korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan pengukuran skala likert 1-5. Teknik analisis menggunakan korelasi sederhana, korelasi ganda dan regresi ganda pada taraf signifikansi alpha 0.05. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) terdapat hubungan positif antara budaya sekolah (X1) dengan kinerja guru yang dapat dilihat dari koefisien korelasi 0,380 dan (Y) persamaan regresi linear Y = 45.244 + 0,595 X1 koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,380 dan koefisien determinasi (R square) sebesar 0,145; (2) terdapat hubungan positif Motivasi Kerja Guru (X2) dengan Kinerja Guru (Y) dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,887 dan persmaan regresi linier Y =13.937 + 1.079 X2 dan koefisien determinasi (R square) sebesar 0,787; dan (3) terdapat hubungan positif Budaya Sekolah (X1) dan Motivasi Kerja Guru (X2) secara bersama-sama dengan Kinerja Guru (Y) dengan koefisien korelasi 0,888, dan persamaan regrsi linier Y = 9.958 + 0,065x1 + 1.059x2 serta koefisien determinasi (R square) 0,788.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengelolaan sarana prasarana dan peran orang tua terhadap kreativitas belajar siswa pada SMP Negeri 10 Jakarta Pusat dengan menggunakanmetode survei dengan teknik korelasi. Populasi penelitian 250 siswa dengan sample 152 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi linear sederhana dan ganda. Hasil penelitian: Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara pengelolaan sarana prasarana dengan Kreativitas Belajar Siswa koefisien korelasi (rxy) sebesar 0,599 dan persamaan regresi Ŷ= 1,691 + 0,573 (X1). Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara peran orang tua dengan kreativitas belajar siswa koefisien korelasi (rxy) sebesar 0,541 berarti korelasi cukup kuat dan persamaan regresi Ŷ= 2,265 + 0,444.Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara Pengelolaan sarana prasarana dan peran orang tua secara bersama- sama dengan kreativitas diperoleh koefisien ganda sebesar 0,650 korelasi positif dan kuat dan persamaan regresi Ŷ= 1,366 + 0,414 X1 + 0,248 X2.

Abstract

The formation of intelligence capabilities in education world besides the family as important role, it is school organisation. The school is an alternative educational service institution that has a vision, mission, goals and functions. To carry out its mission, realise its vision, achieve its goals, and carry out its functions, schools need professionals and resources that support both financially and non-financially to achieve common goals. Therefore this study seeks to uncover the relationship between organizational culture and work motivation with teacher performance measured individually or collectively in a school. This study was conducted on 47 teachers of SPK Pamulang-Tangerang Selatan with random sampling techniques. From the results of the comparison, Ho's decision was rejected, they are the relationship between organisational culture and teacher performance, and the relationship between work motivation with teacher performance. This is evidenced from the significant level value of 0.001 <α (0.05) = 0.05. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis was rejected, because the results of the hypothesis testing indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between Organisational Culture, Work Motivation along with the Teacher’s Performance in SPK Pamulang-Tangerang Selatan.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is an important issue when dealing with the teachers’ turn over in institution. Many factors influence teachers’ job satisfaction, among others are the principal leadership and the school climate. This research aimed to know the relationship between those factors. This research is a correlation study. The sample is the teachers in SPK Secondary School in Pamulang, Tangerang Selatan. Questionnaires were distributed to 32 respondents. It was found out that 1.) There was a very strong, positive and significant correlation between the teacher’s job satisfaction and the principal leadership, with the computed r = .890., 2.) There was a strong, positive and significant correlation between the teacher’s job satisfaction and the school climate, with the computed r = .795., and 3.) There was a very strong, positive and significant correlation between the principal leadership and the school climate to the teacher’s job satisfaction, with the computed r = .905. The findings showed that opportunity to develop, relationship between leaders and teachers, and sense of responsibility are the indicators that are very prominent in each variable. The conclusions are 1). The higher the principal leadership is, the higher the teachers’ job satisfaction will be., 2). The higher the school climate is, the higher the teachers’ job satisfaction will be., 3). The higher the principals leadership and the school climate are, the higher the teachers’ job satisfatiction will be. Providing adequate support facilities, training, and creating a more relax atmosphere are some recommendations for maintaining the teachers’ job satisfaction in that school

Abstract

Principal as a school leader assumes tremendous responsibility to meet the expectations of various stakeholders. The principal is required to be able to direct, organize, set an example to his subordinates to achieve a common goal that has been established. Effective and efficient principals will be able to create an outstanding school, both academic and non-academic. The purpose of this study is to provide a clearer picture of the achievement of the principal, knowing about the leadership of the principal in achieving goals, and knowing how the leadership communication of the principal in SMK Pamor Cikampek. The approach taken is a qualitative approach descriptive. Data obtained from the field is through observation, interview and documentation. The informants in this study were representative of all 23 determined informants, consist of 6 teachers, 4 staff officers, 1 principal and 12 students. The results of the study that the leadership of the private principal of SMK Pamor Cikampek, has performed its duties and responsibilities well as a principal, and its leadership has been effective and efficient.

Abstract

Achievement of laboratory learning objectives through practical and research is supported by the quality of management and laboratory services. Quality management and laboratory services that have not been optimal can be seen on the level of reality satisfaction and the expectations of laboratories users. This study aims to determine the level of students satisfaction on the quality of management and biotechnology laboratory services at Biology Department of Pattimura University Ambon. The result of the research can be used as an evaluation of the quality of laboratory services management and to act as consideration to design improvement of the management quality and biotechnology laboratories service. The sample in this research is the students of Biology Department of UNPATTI fourth, sixth and eighth semester. The data was obtained by observation and questionnaire distribution. The datas were analyzed using descriptive statistics, SERVQUAL, CSI and IPA method. The result of SERVQUAL method analysis showed 36% of the students were satisfied with the quality of biotechnology laboratory management but 64% of the students were not satisfied. 46% of the students were satisfied with the quality of biotechnology laboratory service but 54% of the students were not satisfied. The result of CSI method analysis showed that 73% student satisfaction level on the quality of biotechnology laboratory management has been fulfilled but 27% has not been fulfilled and 78% students satisfaction level on the service of biotechnology laboratory quality has been fulfilled and 22% has been not fulfilled yet. The result of IPA method analysis showed that 44% of the students considered the 18 quality attribute performance of biotechnology laboratory management should be maintained but 56% of the students considered that the performance of 12 attributes need to be improved. 48% of the students considered that the performance of 21 attributes biotechnology laboratory quality service must be maintained but 52% of students considered that the performance of 5 attributes need to be improved.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara teachers’ craft dan kemampuan holistik guru terhadap teachers’ performance, dengan variabel bebasnya yaitu: Teachers’ Craft (X1), Kemampuan Holistik Guru (X2), dan variabel terikatnya Teachers’ Performance (Y). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Raffles Pondok Indah I dan II selama bulan Maret-Juni 2019. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah semua guru Sekolah Raffles yang berjumlah 75 guru dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen penelitian adalah kuisioner yang memenuhi persyaratan validitas dan realibilitas dengan menggunakan model likert 1-4 Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi sederhana, korelasi ganda, dan regresi ganda pada taraf signifikansi alpha 0,05 dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 24. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh koefisien korelasi antara X1 dan Y sebesar 0,298 dan signifikan pada taraf 0,05, sedangkan koefisien korelasi antara X1 dan X2 dengan Y sebesar 0,130 dan signifikan pada taraf 0,05. Kemudian analisis regresi diperoleh persamaan regresi antara X1 dengan Y yaitu Y = 61, 184 +0,247X1. Persamaan regresi antara X2 dengan Y yaitu Y= Y= 3,319 + 0,021X2 dan persamaan regresi ganda antara X1 dan X2 dengan Y= 36,640 + 0,134 X1 + 0,051 X2. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa 1) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan kurang signifikan antara teachers’craft dan teachers’ performance; 2) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan kurang signifikan antara kemampuan holistik guru dan teachers’ performance; 3) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan sedikit signifikan antara teachers’craft dan kemampuan holistik guru secara bersama-sama dengan teachers’ performance.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the education of schools in the village of Paranglompoa, education of children in the family, community education in the village Paranglompoa, and to know the understanding of early marriage in the village Paranglompoa. The research was conducted in Paranglompoa village of Gowa Makassar district in February-March 2018 using survey method with qualitative descriptive approach and phenomenology approach. In the data collection is through observation, interview and documentation. Selection of informants using purposive sampling technique (sample aims) is the informants that researchers set as many as 20 people consisting of the community, parents, teachers, students and perpetrators of early marriage. Discussion in this research there are 4 sub focus that is school education, family education, community education and understanding of early marriage. The results of the study note that the dropout of education and the occurrence of early marriage is caused by the low level of parental education, economically weak, pregnancy outside marriage, the distance between parents and children far apart where children raised by grandmother, while the parents wander into Indonesian workers in Malaysia and caused because lack of understanding of the community early-age marriage. The challenge faced by the local village is the lack of character education for the local people. The solution provided that the community needs to be embraced, and invited cooperation in terms of continuation of children's education, community education and the importance of understanding early marriage. So that the number of school dropouts and early marriage can be avoided.
