Abstract

The background of this research problem stems from the crucial role of Playgroup (Kelompok Bermain - KB) teacher performance in Lasem Sub-district, Rembang Regency, in guaranteeing the quality of early childhood education, which is demanded to provide engaging learning that encourages child exploration. This study aims to determine the extent of the partial effect of competence, workload, compensation, and work environment on teacher performance in Lasem Sub-district, Rembang Regency, with teacher performance serving as the dependent variable and competence, workload, compensation, and work environment as the independent variables. The research method utilized a quantitative approach, sourcing data from primary data. Data collection was carried out by distributing closed questionnaires using a Likert scale. The sample consisted of 125 Playgroup teachers in Lasem Sub-district, Rembang Regency. This study employed the multiple linear regression data analysis technique with a significance level set at < 0,05. The research findings indicate that: (1) competence has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with a significance value of 0,021 < 0,05 (positive direction). (2) workload also has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with a significance value of 0,005 < 0,05 (positive direction). Conversely, (3) compensation has a negative and non-significant effect on teacher performance, with a significance value of 0,294 > 0,05 (negative direction). (4) work environment has a positive but non-significant effect on teacher performance, with a significance value of 0,394 > 0,05 (positive direction). It can therefore be concluded that in early childhood education in Lasem Sub-district, Rembang Regency, compensation and work environment do not have a significant impact on teacher performance.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan in shaping the character of a progressive and virtuous Muslim community. Al-Islam, as an Islamic teaching derived from the Al-Qur’an and Sunnah, provides universal guidelines for human life. Meanwhile, Kemuhammadiyahan, as a reformist movement in Islam, is based on the principles of tauhid, amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, and tajdid. This research explores various key aspects of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan, such as aqidah, ibadah, akhlak, social, education, economy, and politics, and how Muhammadiyah implements Islamic teachings in daily life to shape a faithful, knowledgeable, and virtuous Muslim community. This study employs a qualitative approach using literature review as the research method to analyze relevant literature. The findings of this research indicate that Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan contribute significantly to building a just, empowered, and prosperous society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of indigo leaves (daun tarum) as an aesthetic medium and to assess the quality of Kajang sarongs dyed with this natural colorant. Indigo leaves have long been used by the Kajang indigenous community as the main dye for traditional black sarongs, serving as an important part of cultural expression and the identity of the Ammatoa people. This research employs a qualitative approach with observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that indigo leaves function not only as a dye but also contain deep aesthetic, symbolic, and philosophical values. The dark blue color produced through a natural fermentation process offers a visual experience that is both subtle and strong, and it possesses high durability. The color also reflects the values of simplicity, purity, and spiritual balance within the Kajang community. Thus, the Kajang sarong represents an aesthetic expression that unites elements of nature, humanity, and culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the teacher’s role in enhancing reading and writing literacy skills among fourth-grade students at MIN 2 Sidoarjo. The research focuses on: (1) the forms of teacher roles in developing students’ literacy skills, (2) the learning barriers encountered by students, and (3) the strategies implemented by the teacher to overcome these barriers. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, and the data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the teacher acts as a facilitator, motivator, and guide in the literacy learning process. The main challenges identified include low reading interest, an unconducive learning environment, and students’ difficulties in comprehending texts. To address these issues, the teacher applied various strategies, including the use of engaging learning media, daily reading routines, and contextual, enjoyable writing activities. The study concludes that active teacher involvement supported by appropriate instructional strategies can significantly and gradually improve students’ literacy skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan Cooperative Learning dalam pembelajaran IPAS sebagai upaya untuk memperkuat sikap sosial siswa sekolah dasar. Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah terbatasnya kesempatan interaksi dan kolaborasi dalam pembelajaran konvensional yang cenderung menjadikan siswa sebagai penerima pasif. Tujuan penelitian berbasis studi literatur ini adalah menganalisis bagaimana Cooperative Learning berkontribusi terhadap perkembangan nilai sosial seperti kerja sama, tanggung jawab, empati, dan saling menghargai dalam kegiatan pembelajaran IPAS. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur dengan mensintesis hasil penelitian dari jurnal, buku, dan laporan akademik yang relevan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Cooperative Learning menyediakan aktivitas kelompok terstruktur yang mendorong ketergantungan positif, partisipasi seimbang, serta interaksi langsung antar siswa. Melalui kondisi belajar tersebut, siswa terlibat dalam kolaborasi yang bermakna sehingga mampu meningkatkan kompetensi sosial, kemampuan komunikasi, serta kepedulian terhadap sesama. Temuan penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa integrasi Cooperative Learning dalam pembelajaran IPAS tidak hanya mendukung pemahaman konsep, tetapi juga berperan penting dalam menumbuhkan sikap sosial siswa dalam lingkungan belajar yang inklusif dan suportif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas implementasi literasi budaya di sekolah dasar serta implikasinya terhadap Kurikulum Merdeka melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Kajian dilakukan dengan mengikuti protokol PRISMA 2020 dan menyeleksi artikel ilmiah terbitan 2020–2025 yang relevan dengan literasi budaya, kearifan lokal, pembelajaran berbasis budaya, serta implementasinya pada konteks sekolah dasar. Dari proses identifikasi dan seleksi, sepuluh artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan analisis tematik untuk memetakan model implementasi, efektivitas, faktor pendukung, dan tantangan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa literasi budaya memiliki dampak positif terhadap pengetahuan, sikap, identitas budaya, serta karakter siswa. Media pembelajaran seperti e-modul berbasis kearifan lokal, komik digital Tri Hita Karana, integrasi tembang Macapat, serta model RADEC terbukti meningkatkan literasi budaya secara signifikan. Namun, implementasi literasi budaya belum berjalan optimal karena masih dipengaruhi oleh keterbatasan kompetensi guru, minimnya sumber belajar autentik, dan dominasi pembelajaran seremonial yang dangkal. Selain itu, variasi desain penelitian dan kurangnya pendekatan eksperimental menyebabkan bukti efektivitas belum merata. Kajian ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan kapasitas guru, penguatan kurikulum berbasis budaya, serta penyediaan sumber belajar yang kontekstual untuk mendukung keberhasilan Kurikulum Merdeka dan pengembangan Profil Pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the gap between the deep learning targets and the teaching practices of teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Moga as reflected in the 2025 Education Report, especially in the aspects of learning methods, psychological support, and classroom management. The objectives of this study are to (1) identify priority competency areas for teachers, (2) analyze obstacles and root causes of teacher participation in professional development programs, (3) evaluate the communication mechanisms and the role of the principal in facilitating competency development, and (4) formulate strategies for implementing sustainable competency map-based competency development. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving teachers and principals as informants through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions with source triangulation. The results show that pedagogical and educational technology competency areas are the main priorities for teachers, while the biggest obstacles include limited time, facilities and infrastructure, and individual motivation. The communication mechanism between teachers and principals is considered positive but has not been optimal in follow-up. Research recommendations emphasize the need for competency development strategies that are integrated with teacher duties, tailored to needs, flexible in implementation, and accompanied by guidance and mentoring by colleagues to ensure the application of training results in learning practices and build a culture of sustainable learning in schools.

Abstract

Meta-analisis terhadap empat studi yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi menggunakan model Random Effects menunjukkan efek gabungan signifikan dengan nilai pooled effect 1.536 (95% CI: 0.839–2.234; t(3) = 7.01; p = 0.006), serta prediction interval 0.349–2.723 yang menandakan kemungkinan variasi efek pada studi mendatang. Uji heterogenitas menghasilkan Q(3) = 6.63 (p = 0.085), dengan τ = 0.302 dan τ² = 0.091, menunjukkan heterogenitas rendah hingga sedang. Analisis sensitivitas mengidentifikasi satu studi berpengaruh, namun tidak mengubah arah maupun signifikansi efek gabungan, dan hasil Baujat Plot serta Profile Likelihood mengonfirmasi bahwa estimasi tetap stabil. Secara keseluruhan, meta-analisis ini menghasilkan efek gabungan yang signifikan, robust, dan valid meskipun terdapat variasi antarstudi, sehingga dapat menjadi dasar bagi penelitian lanjutan dan pengambilan keputusan berbasis bukti.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa di sekolah dasar. Kurikulum Merdeka hadir sebagai inovasi pendidikan yang menekankan pada pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi, diferensiasi, dan penguatan karakter melalui profil pelajar Pancasila. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi di beberapa sekolah dasar yang telah menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan literasi dan numerasi siswa melalui pembelajaran yang kontekstual, kolaboratif, serta berorientasi pada kebutuhan dan kemampuan individu peserta didik. Namun, masih ditemukan kendala seperti keterbatasan pemahaman guru terhadap konsep kurikulum baru dan kurangnya sarana pendukung pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka berpotensi besar dalam meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi siswa apabila didukung oleh pelatihan guru yang berkelanjutan dan fasilitas pembelajaran yang memadai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pemanfaatan TikTok sebagai media literasi politik bagi pemilih pemula, khususnya mahasiswa Fakultas Studi Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau menjelang Pemilu 2024. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada meningkatnya penggunaan TikTok oleh generasi muda serta tingginya paparan konten politik yang muncul melalui algoritma For You Page (FYP). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus, melibatkan 15 informan yang dipilih secara purposive. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TikTok menjadi sumber informasi politik yang dominan bagi pemilih pemula karena penyajian kontennya yang singkat, visual, kreatif, dan sesuai gaya komunikasi generasi Z. Konten yang berbasis storytelling, humor, infografis, serta melibatkan figur publik terbukti lebih mudah diterima dan dipahami. Fitur interaktif seperti komentar dan live streaming memperkuat proses literasi politik melalui diskusi dua arah. Namun, penelitian juga menemukan adanya tantangan berupa risiko misinformasi yang menuntut kemampuan verifikasi serta literasi digital yang lebih kuat. Secara keseluruhan, TikTok berpotensi menjadi media literasi politik yang efektif apabila didukung oleh konten yang kredibel, edukatif, dan bertanggung jawab.
