Abstract

This study aims to describe the emotional development of children aged 5–6 years from military families in TK Kartika II-3 Palembang. The research focuses on three main aspects: self-awareness, responsibility, and prosocial behavior, along with the role of teachers and parents in emotional stimulation. Using a qualitative descriptive method with observation, interviews, and documentation, data were collected from two subjects with similar family backgrounds but distinct emotional characteristics. The results show that the first subject tends to express emotions impulsively, experiences difficulty in emotional regulation, and shows inconsistency in responsibility and prosocial skills. Meanwhile, the second subject demonstrates more stable emotional regulation, can express feelings appropriately, and shows positive prosocial behavior such as empathy and politeness. The findings highlight the essential role of teachers through guidance, observation, and emotional modeling, as well as the role of parents in providing warm and responsive parenting. Emotional development is shaped by the combination of a child's innate characteristics and the emotional climate created at home and school.

Abstract

This study discusses the relevance of Raja Ali Haji's Gurindam Dua Belas (Dua Belas) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and the character formation of the Alpha generation. The focus of the study is directed at the values of faith, morals, and etiquette contained in the gurindam and their relevance to the needs of modern education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a content analysis of the Gurindam Dua Belas text as a primary source, supported by Islamic education literature and character studies of the digital generation. The results show that the gurindam contains core PAI values such as strengthening faith, self-control, social ethics, and the habituation of noble morals. In addition, its short and concise form makes the gurindam highly relevant as a moral literacy medium for the Alpha generation who tend to be practical, visual, and quick in absorbing information. The gurindam's messages regarding guarding one's tongue, self-control, and social responsibility have proven to be appropriate to the challenges of the digital era such as hate speech, hoaxes, and impulsive behavior due to the use of technology. Thus, Gurindam Dua Belas can be an effective teaching resource in strengthening Islamic character and PAI competency for today's young generation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristikbahasa yang digunakan oleh individu dengan gaya kelekatanavoidant dalam konteks interaksi romantis, baik pada fasependekatan maupun setelah mendapatkan pasangan. Dari perspektif pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia, artikel inimengkaji bagaimana pilihan leksikal, struktur kalimat, dan strategi komunikasi pragmatis merefleksikan kebutuhan untukmenjaga jarak emosional dan otonomi diri. Artikel ini juga membahas dampak penggunaan bahasa avoidant terhadapdinamika hubungan dan interpretasi calon pasangan, denganharapan dapat memperkaya pemahaman tentang hubunganantara psikologi dan penggunaan bahasa dalam konteksromantis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi masalah kurangnya pemahaman guru terkait pengaplikasian asesmen otentik di sekolah dasar, terutama pemahaman, kemudian perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi penilaian autentik dalam Kurikulum Merdeka di SD Negeri 9 Toboali dengan fokus pada tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, tindaklanjut, dan agar faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasi pengaplikasian asesmen otentik mempengaruhi efektivitas implementasi. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan desain studi kasus dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Instrumen yang dikumpulkan adalah observasi partisipasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen, termasuk daftar periksa observasi, panduan wawancara, protokol dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis data Miles dan Huberman, terdiri dari pengurangan data, tampilan data, dan kesimpulan. Data yang diperoleh dari tulisan penelitian adalah sah dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan melalui teknik triangulasi. Tahap perencanaan adalah persiapan yang komprehensif termasuk perumusan tujuan belajar, pembuatan rubrik, dan perancangan instrumen penilaian. Pada tahap eksekusi, guru menerapkan teknik asesmen otentik yang yaitu beragam asesmen kinerja, penilaian portofolio, asesmen berbasis proyek, dan asesmen diri. Tahap tindaklanjut merupakan program remedial dan pengayaan sesuai hasil asesmen. Faktor pendukungnya meliputi manajemen sekolah, fasilitas, dan kolaborasi yang baik, sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah keterbatasan waktu, sumber daya teknologi, dan kompetensi. Kesimpulan yang diambil adalah implementasi asesmen autentik memiliki dampak baik terhadap pembelajaran siswa karena memberikan asesmen buruk terhadap tiga ranah yaitu kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Penerapan asesmen otentik dalam Kurikulum Merdeka di lingkungan sekolah telah berjalan dengan baik secara bertahap melalui tahap perencanaan, eksekusi, dan tindak lanjut, meskipun ada kendala pada integrasi teknologi dan kualitas implementasi.

Abstract

This article discusses the concept of multiculturalism in Islamic education through a thematic study of Quranic verses and Hadith related to diversity. This study aims to uncover the normative foundations of multicultural education in Islam and its relevance to the development of contemporary educational practices. The method used is library research with a thematic approach (maudh'i), namely collecting, classifying, and analyzing verses and Hadith related to the principles of equality, tolerance, justice, and respect for differences. The results of the study show that the Quran emphasizes diversity as a sunnatullah that must be accepted constructively, as reflected in the principle of equal human dignity (QS. Al-Hujurat: 13), the prohibition of discrimination and fanaticism ('ashabiyyah), and the command to treat everyone fairly. The Hadith of the Prophet also reinforces these values ​​through the Prophet's life example in building an inclusive Medina society. The research findings confirm that Islamic education has a strong theological foundation for developing multicultural education that respects cultural, religious, and ethnic plurality. Thus, internalizing multicultural values ​​in Islamic education is important to implement to form students who are moderate, tolerant, and have a global perspective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students’ responses to the introduction of object names beginning with the letter “L” using images in Outing Class activities and to identify the types of objects that can be introduced to firs grade students. For first grade students, learning object names is important for language development. Outing Class offers a fun, experience based learning method. Pictures were chosen to support Outing Class because they can provide clear and attractive visualizations, especially for objects that are difficult to find, making it easier for students to recognize and remember objects. The methodology used in this study was descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation and interviews. This study involved one teacher and 26 first grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Gresik as subjects. The conclusion of the study shows that the image media used in the Outing Class is affective in improving the recognition of the names of objects that begin with the letter “L”. Tis media successfully introduced various object such as lamps, floors, and drawers. The students responses showed high enthusiasm. A total of 22 students stated that the pictures and Outing Class activities helped them recognize objects and their functions. In addition to helping them recognize objects, this method also increased student engagement and had a positive impact on their language development.

Abstract

Islamic educational management demands an integration of modern management principles and Islamic values. In the context of SMPIT Abu Bakar Siddiq, critical, ethical, and Islamic approaches are essential foundations for creating educational governance that is just, imbued with integrity, and spiritually oriented. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The results indicate that the critical approach is implemented through a reflective and participatory culture; the ethical approach through honesty and responsibility-based leadership; and the Islamic approach through internalizing the values ​​of monotheism and trustworthiness. These three approaches form a synergy of morally and spiritually oriented management.

Abstract

This study examines the transformation of Indonesian equivalents appearing in trending content on the social media app TikTok. Advances in digital technology and the increasing use of social media have given rise to new forms of language use, including the issue of equivalents (Hidayat, 2020). This research aims to identify and explain how Indonesian equivalents have transformed within the creative content space on TikTok. This study includes problem identification to clarify the details of the problem. Based on this formulation, the problem identification in this research is as follows: The large number of foreign or new terminologies used in TikTok content that do not have official equivalents in Indonesian (Fajri, 2021). The use of equivalent terms in TikTok content often does not conform to Indonesian language rules (Purwono, 2024). There is a lack of awareness among social media users, especially TikTok users, of the importance of using good and correct Indonesian (Susanti, 2022). The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation and documentation of trending TikTok content during a specific period (Darmalaksana, 2020). The analysis was conducted by tracing the use of words that experienced changes in meaning, expansion of meaning, or the creation of new equivalents that deviate from standard rules. The research results show that trends on TikTok encourage the formation of a variety of equivalent terms influenced by user creativity, popular language styles, and the need for expressions relevant to digital culture (Setiawan, 2020). These findings indicate that social media plays a dynamic role in the formation and transformation of the Indonesian language in the modern era. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir komputasi dan berpikir spasial siswa kelas V, serta membandingkan kemampuan tersebut antara siswa yang bermain game online Roblox dan yang tidak bermain game online Roblox. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif komparatif dan dilaksanakan selama satu bulan di sekolah dasar di Pekanbaru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes kemampuan komputasi, tes kemampuan spasial, serta angket pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir komputasi siswa secara umum berada pada kategori rendah, sedangkan kemampuan berpikir spasial berada pada kategori sedang. Secara keseluruhan, siswa lebih mampu menyelesaikan tugas yang melibatkan pemecahan masalah sederhana dan visualisasi objek, namun masih menghadapi kesulitan dalam pengenalan pola, abstraksi, serta orientasi spasial. Temuan ini memberikan gambaran yang lebih komprehensif mengenai pengaruh aktivitas bermain game, khususnya Roblox, terhadap pengembangan kemampuan komputasi dan spasial siswa, serta menjadi landasan bagi perancangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih tepat dan relevan.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the development of modern Arabic linguistics through an examination of the contributions of major scholars such as Ibrahim Anis, Syauqi Dhaif, Abbas Hasan, Ramzi Baalbaki, Mahmud Fahmi Hijazi, and Tammam Hassan. Modern Arabic linguistics emerged as a response to the need to reconstruct Arabic linguistic studies so they remain relevant to contemporary linguistic paradigms that are descriptive, analytical, and empirical. Using a library research method, this study reviews primary and secondary sources to identify the characteristics of modern Arabic linguistics and its interaction with classical linguistic traditions. The findings show that these scholars played a crucial role in methodological reform, theoretical reconstruction, and the development of phonology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and discourse analysis. The study concludes that modern Arabic linguistics continues to evolve and holds significant relevance in Arabic language instruction, Islamic studies, and global linguistic scholarship.
