Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis berbagai bentuk perlawanan bangsa Indonesia terhadap kekuasaan kolonial sejak abad ke-16 hingga awal abad ke-20 serta peranan sebagai pondasi terbentuknya kesadaran nasional dan kemerdekaan. Memanfaatkan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka, kajian ini menelaah secara sistematis sumber-sumber tertulis berupa buku, jurnal, artikel, dan dokumen sejarah yang relevan. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa perlawanan Indonesia berkembang dari awalnya berbentuk lokal yang bersifat fisik, seperti perlawanan bersenjata dan penolakan politik terhadap monopoli dagang serta intervensi kolonial, menuju gerakan nasional yang lebih tersusun pada awal abad ke-20. Perlawanan rakyat Banjar, gerakan sosial keagamaan, serta berbagai peperangan daerah menunjukkan dinamika perlawanan yang membanhun kesadaran identitas kelompok. Perubahan perlawanan ini semakin menguat melalui lahirnya organisasi modern seperti Budi Utomo, Sarekat Islam, dan Indische Partij hingga puncaknya pada Sumpah Pemuda 1928 yang menegaskan persatuan bangsa. Sepenuhnya bentuk perjuangan tersebut memberikan dampak penting bagi terbentuknya solidaritas sosial, perubahan politik dan tumbuhnya nasionalisme yang akhirnya mengantarkan Indonesia menuju Proklamasi Kemerdekaan 17 Agustus 1945.

Abstract

This study investigates the correlation between reading literacy levels and critical thinking skills among fifth-grade students at SDS Frater Thamrin Makassar. The research was motivated by the increasing importance of literacy-based learning in enhancing higher-order thinking skills at the elementary school level, particularly the ability to analyze, evaluate, and interpret information in written texts. The study aims to determine whether students with higher reading literacy levels also demonstrate stronger critical thinking skills. A quantitative approach using an ex post facto design was employed, considering that the variables had naturally formed without experimental intervention. Total sampling was used, involving all fifth-grade students as respondents. Data were obtained through Likert-scale questionnaires developed based on theoretical indicators of reading literacy and critical thinking. The collected data were analyzed through normality testing, linearity testing, and Pearson correlation analysis. The results show that both variables meet the assumption of normal distribution, with significance values above 0.05. Linearity testing also confirms a linear relationship between reading literacy and critical thinking skills. Pearson’s correlation analysis reveals a very strong and statistically significant positive correlation (r = 0.832, p = 0.000). These findings indicate that higher reading literacy is associated with stronger critical thinking skills among students. Overall, this study highlights the essential role of reading literacy in fostering critical thinking abilities at the elementary level. Strengthening literacy-based learning is therefore a strategic effort to develop students’ analytical and reflective capacities, which are crucial for academic success and long-term cognitive development.

Abstract

The global use of English as a lingua franca has fundamentally transformed the role of English in education. However, English Language Teaching (ELT) practices in Indonesia remain largely influenced by native speakerism, an ideology that positions native speakers as the ultimate linguistic and pedagogical authority. This study aims to critically examine the hegemony of native speakerism in ELT through a postmodern philosophical perspective, with particular attention to English as a Lingua Franca (ELF) and World Englishes. Using a conceptual–philosophical research design, this study analyzes recent international journal articles published within the last ten years as primary data sources. The analysis focuses on three dimensions: the manifestation of native speakerism in ELT practices, its epistemological and ontological implications for teacher and learner identities, and alternative paradigms offered by ELF and World Englishes. The findings reveal that native speakerism operates as a normalized ideological structure through linguistic standards, cultural representations, and institutional practices, leading to epistemic injustice and identity marginalization of non-native English users. Furthermore, ELF and World Englishes provide a more inclusive framework by emphasizing intelligibility, plural linguistic norms, and the legitimacy of local English varieties. This study concludes that deconstructing native speakerism is essential for developing a more equitable, context-sensitive, and pedagogically relevant English education in Indonesia

Abstract

Ideally, learning in elementary school helps kids understand things deeply by doing activities that are important to their lives. Nonetheless, classroom learning methodologies remain predominantly characterized by a superficial approach, resulting in the suboptimal utilization of local wisdom as a learning resource. This study seeks to examine educators' methodologies in the planning, execution, and assessment of deep learning principles utilizing Banjarmasin's local wisdom within sixth-grade elementary education. The research employs a qualitative case study methodology, utilizing data collection through comprehensive interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, including lesson plans, student worksheets, portfolios, and reflection notes. Thematic data analysis is employed to discern patterns in teacher strategies. The research findings demonstrate that educators can create river culture-based learning experiences, sasirangan patterns, and local art practices as genuine contexts that foster active student participation. During the implementation phase, students exhibited exploration, discussion, and practical engagement that enhanced their conceptual comprehension and critical thinking abilities. Formative evaluation is done through process assessment, portfolios, and culture-based projects, which leads to more meaningful learning. The research finds that including local knowledge makes deep learning stronger and could be used as a model for contextual learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to develop: Student Worksheets (LKPD) integrated with problem-based learning model with TaRL approach to improve student learning outcomes.The study was conducted at SDN 28 Mendo Barat in grade IV. This study is adevelopment research (Research and Development) with a 4D model, namely thedefinition, design, development, and dissemination stages. The object of the studyis LKPD integrated with problem-based learning model with TaRL approach toimprove student learning outcomes. The instruments used were a feasibility testquestionnaire and student response questionnaire and teacher interview guide. Thefeasibility test was conducted by 6 validators, namely 2 material experts, 2 languageexperts and 2 presentation experts. User response tests were conducted on 20grade IV students and 1 class teacher in the trial class. Data analysis used indetermining the validity of LKPD using cross tabulation and questionnairedistribution for student responses and interviews for teacher responses in the useof LKPD percentage techniques and processed descriptively. The results of theLKPD feasibility test by the validator reviewed from the aspects of material,language, and display presentation, the feasibility of the material obtained 0.80(feasible criteria), the results of the language feasibility of 0.70 (feasible criteria) andthe results of the display feasibility of 0.80 (very feasible criteria). The results of theLKPD field test by conducting a post test and pre test with the results of the gaintest showed 20 students with a high criterion gain count of 4 students with apercentage of 20% then 14 students with a medium criterion of 70% then 2 studentswith a low criterion of 10%. In other words, the student worksheets (LKPD) used arebeneficial and effective as learning media to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning in elementary schools, particularly on figurative language (majas), still faces several challenges, including students’ low understanding of various types of figurative language due to abstract learning methods and limited use of engaging instructional media. This condition has an impact on students’ low learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the effect of using the figurative tree media (pohon bermajas) on elementary school students’ Indonesian language learning outcomes in figurative language material. The study employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. The research subjects were sixth-grade students of SD Negeri Klampis 02. Data were collected through learning outcome tests in the form of pretests and posttests, while data analysis was conducted using a paired sample t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results indicated that the mean posttest score was higher than the mean pretest score. Statistical analysis showed that the calculated t value exceeded the critical t value and the significance value was less than 0.05, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of figurative tree media has a significant effect on improving elementary school students’ Indonesian language learning outcomes in figurative language material. The figurative tree media effectively helps students understand abstract concepts more concretely, increases active participation, and enhances learning motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan model Experiential Science Learning (ESL) yang dipadukan dengan pendekatan inkuiri terbimbing dalam pembelajaran IPAS pada siswa kelas IV SD 3 Jekulo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan guru dan siswa sebagai sumber data utama, serta didukung oleh dokumentasi berupa foto kegiatan, modul ajar, dan lembar observasi siswa. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi metode dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model ESL berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan utama, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, proses pembelajaran mengikuti empat fase inti ESL yaitu pengalaman konkret, observasi reflektif, konseptualisasi abstrak, dan eksperimen aktif. Keempat fase tersebut membuat siswa terlibat langsung dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan membantu siswa memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai proses fotosintesis. Siswa menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dan mampu mengaitkan hasil pengamatan dengan konsep-konsep ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memahami hubungan antara cahaya matahari, air, dan klorofil dalam proses fotosintesis, meskipun beberapa siswa masih memerlukan bimbingan tambahan. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan model ESL berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, motivasi, dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS.

Abstract

The background of this research begins from the results of a preliminary study which shows that the social studies learning process is still dominated by lecture methods and conventional media, so that students are less focused, less motivated, and have difficulties in understanding cultural diversity material. Therefore, learning media that is interactive, interesting, and in accordance with the stage of cognitive development of elementary school students is needed. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of material experts, media experts, grade IV teachers, and 20 grade IV students of SD Muhammadiyah 16 Semarang. Data was collected through observation, interviews, validation questionnaires, response questionnaires, and cognitive ability tests. The research instrument used the Likert scale to assess the feasibility of media as well as measure the improvement of students' cognitive abilities. The results of the validation of material experts showed a feasibility percentage of 88.3%, 98.3%, and 91.6% with the very feasible category. Media expert validation obtained a percentage of 95% with a very feasible category. The implementation in the classroom shows that students are very enthusiastic and interested in using Pobundo Media. The results of the response questionnaire showed that this media had a high level of acceptance from students and teachers. In addition, the cognitive ability test showed an increase in students' understanding after using Pobundo Media in social studies learning. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that Pobundo Media is feasible, valid, and effective to be used as a social studies learning medium, especially cultural diversity materials. This media is able to increase learning motivation, help students understand concepts concretely, and improve the cognitive abilities of fourth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 16 Semarang. Pobundo Media is recommended as an innovative visual learning media alternative in supporting the social studies learning process in elementary schools. The conclusion of this study is that Pobundo Media based on concrete media is valid, acceptable in learning to instill the cognitive abilities of social studies students in grade 4 on Cultural Diversity material in Indonesia.

Abstract

Perkembangan media digital telah meningkatkan permintaan akan konten audiovisual yang tidak hanya menarik secara visual tetapi juga efektif dalam menyampaikan pesan dan mendorong keterlibatan audiens. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penyuntingan konten digital di Buka Project Production House menggunakan kerangka kerja POACE (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling, Evaluating). Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen yang dilakukan dari Agustus hingga Desember 2025. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kerangka kerja POACE mendukung alur kerja penyuntingan yang lebih terstruktur dan kreatif. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi POACE ke dalam proses penyuntingan meningkatkan efisiensi kerja, konsistensi visual, dan efektivitas keseluruhan komunikasi konten digital di Buka Project Production House .

Abstract

Proposal mini riset ini mengkaji peran media sosial TikTok dalam kampanye digitaluntuk meningkatkan partisipasi pemilih pada Pemilu 2024 di Desa Sampali,Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. menyoroti dominasi TikToksebagai platform video pendek yang efektif menjangkau pemilih muda melaluialgoritma FYP, konten kreatif, serta interaksi seperti duet dan live streaming,meskipun tantangan seperti hoaks dan kesenjangan literasi digital tetap ada. Hasiltemuan lapangan menunjukkan mayoritas informan usia muda sering mengaksesinformasi profil kandidat, visi-misi, serta ajakan memilih via TikTok, yangmemengaruhi sikap politik mereka, sementara kelompok lanjut usia lebihbergantung pada sumber tradisional.Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakanmetode pengumpulan data melalui observasi,Kesimpulan menyatakan TikTokberhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi pemilih melalui komunikasi duaarah, namun memerlukan konten edukatif yang kredibel untuk mengurangidisinformasi.
